Instruction is great, response time is timely and fast.

I honestly cannot imagine a better course for sailing theory. It seamlessly adapts to each student's needs, offering both video and slides so you can learn in whichever way suits you best. Knowledge is delivered in bite-sized portions, with complexity increasing very progressively - allowing everything to sink in properly rather than overwhelming you.

The team itself is always happy to answer additional questions and incredibly quick with turnaround times. They're consistently energetic, positive, and genuinely responsive to each student's individual needs.

Highly recommended to anyone pursuing their sailing journey, at any level.

I recently completed my RYA Day Skipper Theory course with Ardent Training, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

The course was extremely well structured, making even the more challenging topics easy to understand and follow. Whenever I needed support or had a question, the team responded quickly and were always happy to help.

I would highly recommend Ardent Training to anyone looking to complete their RYA theory courses. Their excellent course content, responsive support, and professional approach made the whole learning experience enjoyable and gave me the confidence to move on to the practical stage of my sailing journey.

It has been a great learning experience. The contents are well structured and presented. I love the dual option on each video, with optional focus on images or the instructor. Every time I have a question (and I had many) there's always an instructor ready to give you full attention.

Really nice how they send you the trainingkit and stay available throughout the course. Nice video’s and clear instructions. Very nice!

The material is well segmented and expertly presented. The instructors are clearly very experienced and interact via chat in real time - 12hrs a day every day - in a very constructive way

Great resources and incredible speed at answering questions. I did not expect that there would be someone at the other end of the line ready to answer questions within minutes at almost all times!

They gave good and helpful feedback on mistakes. The weekly seminars on various topics are great and fun too!

Was a great course, there's a lot of context and it feels like a real course with a real instructor with personal experiences added in there. That adds a little time probably (although I have not taken other courses) but makes it feel more real and leads to more repetitions of concepts, which is in my opinion a good choice since these are actually important skills if you are going to be on a boat!

Just finished my Day Skipper course and passed the exam on first attempt.

Very well taught course, and structured in a way that made it very easy to navigate online and re-run modules as and when needed (multiple times in the lead up to the mock exam!). The Presenters are very personable on camera and their anecdotes help you memorise the key points (White over red - Captain in bed!). The live Monday sessions were also very valuable and a great opportunity to engage with other students regardless of the course they are on.

Shame they don't offer practical courses as I'd love to meet the team, but I'm sure I'll be back for more theory once I've built up some nautical miles on my practical course (and soon to be launched yacht!). Thanks!

Very well designed online course. I love everything about it. The structure of the course is clear and makes sense and the content is easy to understand. For someone who is not a native english speaker, the course might take up to 60 hours but is absolutely worth it!

I’ve just completed the Day Skipper course. The course structure and videos were easy to follow and extremely engaging - It felt more like an in-person course than an on-line one!
The instructors were very responsive to questions, giving feedback on course modules and I found the zoom calls really helpful. I would highly recommend this course.

I did my RYA day skipper theory course and exam with Ardent and it was brilliant! The course was a series of short visual tutorials through the syllabus, which were well presented, bite sized and relatable. Charley and Edd had lovely relaxed presenting styles and the other instructors were excellent and so supportive when it came to the mock and final exam. I would recommend Ardent as a training provider, and I already have recommended to friends who have signed up and enjoyed it as much as me. No less than a 5 star rating!

Great experience. The materials are great and easy to follow, and the team at Ardent is very responsive. Tests were corrected within minutes during UK business hours, or first thing in the morning if I submitted past business hours. Emails were answers promptly, and there was an instructor clearly standing by on the email while I was taking the final exam, as my questions were answered immediately. Exam results included clear pdfs highlighting corrections. Overall great expereince!

The live chat is the best, the response time couldn't be better, they answered all my questions with clear, thorough, and precise explanations.

The content is very clearly explained, even the intense topics, everything is broken down to smaller bits and pieces, making it easy to go through.

The knowledge checks and module assessments were super helpful.

The instructors are all very nice. To me, they didn't seem to be the most comfortable people in front of a camera, I think thats very relatable and super awesome.

When i was looking for my Day Skipper course, i think Ardent was the priciest option, but no regrets, very worth it.

I really appreciated the format. The instructors were competent and engaging even in this asynchronous mode. I would recommend this course without a doubt.

Outstanding program. Online courses can be completed as quickly or as slowly as you like. So engaging and personable with videos, zoom calls and real time chat. I feel like I know these excellent tutors, even though we’ve never met! UK based team with learners from all around the globe. Highly recommend.
