Pathetic customer service and a…

Pathetic customer service and a complete waste of money.

I purchased a watch in November (Invoice No. ARG46356). I wore it only once, and it wasn’t working at all.

I contacted customer support, and they arranged a pickup from my residence. After waiting nearly 15 days, they returned the watch to me… still not working.

Instead of accepting responsibility and resolving the issue, I’m receiving nothing but excuses and misleading responses.

This is not the quality of product or after-sales service any customer deserves. If a brand cannot repair or replace a product that was defective from the beginning, what exactly are customers paying for?

I hope someone from the company finally takes responsibility and provides a proper resolution. Until then, I would advise people to think twice before buying.

An open box used second hand mutilated watch received

An open box mutilated watch received. Its an second hand used watch with scratches. No packing, no stickers on front dial and back. No stickers on the chain. Moreover, nobody is responding back on calls, messages and emails. Dont waste your money on this cheap brand.

“Multiple interactions. Senior management callback promised within 24–48 working hours. No call, no update, no accountability. Disappointed more by communication failure than the product issue.”

Disappointing Quality for a Premium Watch

I purchased an Argos watch worth more than ₹10,000 expecting premium quality and durability. Unfortunately, just after completing one year, the watch started malfunctioning. The hour hand is not working properly and shows incorrect time positioning. For example, when the actual time is 1:25 PM, the hour hand is already close to 2 instead of being correctly placed between 1 and 2.

This is extremely disappointing for a watch in this price range. A premium product should last much longer than just one year. The quality does not match the amount charged, and the overall experience has been frustrating.

I understand that the warranty period is over, but issues like this should not happen so quickly in a premium watch. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend Argos watches to others. I expected far better product quality and customer support from the brand.

Total letdown with my Argos watch…

Total letdown with my Argos watch company! The watch is good . But the bracelet rusted within just a couple of months, even though I wore it only once a week. Now it’s leaving stubborn rust marks on my shirt cuffs, ruining my outfits and the whole experience. Bracelet rusted in just 2 months (worn weekly), leaving stubborn rust stains on my shirt cuffs and ruining my outfits. Worse? Their response: “Delivered Feb 13, 2026 – our 3-day return policy expired, no warranty help.” Hiding behind a 3-day policy to dodge poor quality? Cheating customers!

If you have it you will flaunt it!

At the outset i give ratings basis the following:
1. Looks and design - 4 star
2. Price and Boxing - 5 star
3. Logistics and Service - 4 star
Probably i was unfortunate to receive a defective watch. I received my Argos Olympus aquatic Blue which was running 2 minutes slow every 24 hours. The company arranged for a pick up and replaced wih a new watch in 7 days, But, to my dissapointment continues, this time, the watch stopped at 12:05 am during the date change. Againg the company quickly arranged for a pick up and rectified my watch and returned in about 3 weeks.
My conclusion:
Every brand/company will have pros and cons. Its truely unfortune to produce some defective pieces, But, they attend to the issues promptly and get it resolved. I am sure they too dont like such incidents, I feel they will over come such situations soon.
Btw, the watch looks good and creates attention for sure.

Watch not working from first day....back after 15 days still not working

Watch not working from first day....sent back for repairs for 15 days and still not working
Watch was not working from first day ....had a harrowing time with customer care and then they arraged for a pick up.... was picked up and returned after almost 12-15 days but its still not working.....we have been continuously following up the customer care...they promise that some senior will call and nothing happens....now we are asking for a replacement or refund but they refusing. We are continuously writing emails but nothing.

Argos Olympus watch review

I purchased an Argos Olympus watch recently. Overall, the watch itself is decent for the price and the packaging is good. From a product standpoint, Argos does a fair job.

However, it is important to understand that this is still an immature microbrand and unfortunately, they operate like one.

There are a few things you should not expect when buying an Argos watch.

Customer service
Practically non existent. While they do provide a contact number, my experience was that calls were never routed to a real person. Because of this, I strongly feel that spending extra money on their lifetime warranty is not worth it at this stage. The brand simply does not seem to have the capability to support it yet.

Delivery and order handling
My delivery experience was poor. After ordering the watch, I was contacted a day later and offered a strap at a 500 rupees discount. I agreed and was sent a payment link over WhatsApp, which already felt a bit unprofessional, but I went ahead assuming this was a legitimate process.

That turned out to be a mistake. The strap was never delivered. When I followed up, I was told that the strap had already been shipped with the watch and was asked to share an unboxing video as proof that I had not received it. I do not usually record unboxing videos, nor did I expect that I would need to maintain evidence for a partial shipment as their own website still shows that the strap order has not been shipped, which directly contradicts their claim.

Overall, the product is okay, the after sales experience, communication, and fulfillment process need major improvement. This experience would have been far better if the watch was available on a platform like Amazon, where order tracking, delivery accountability, and customer support are much stronger.

I purchased this watch last year

I purchased this watch last year. Nice beautiful bracelet of two colours. Dial was good but I would prefer more dark blue shade or near Persian blue than what is in watch. It looks more near to peacock green. Watch movement was good though broke last month.

Good looking watch & Value for Money !

My second purchase from Argos. Quality / finishing of the watches has remained good to very good. Drastic improvement in the packaging noticed. Beautiful watch box, excellent packaging , simply outstanding !!!
I own a lot of watches over the years. Sourced from different websites and watch forums across the globe. I have never come across this level of protective measures on the shipment of a watch. Bravo to team Argos dispatch team. Keep it up !
Coming to the watch, it was love at first sight. The Irish Coffee colored dial is so unique and seldom seen. The fit and finish of the watch is very good. I personally feel the Leather strap compliments the watch more than the steel one or the suede. Over all very happy with my purchase.
The one star less is for my experience with the communication prior to placing order. Lost 2 days in getting an answer. Simply not acceptable. This is an area of immediate improvement.
I found it very disappointing and hence highlighting for immediate corrective & preventive measures.
Lastly, my request/ suggestion for a special discount to repeat buyers, patrons. Will give the feeling of thankfulness, appreciation and being privileged !
Will go a long way in building a sustainable patrons base. Please do consider.

Poor after Sell Service

I am one of customer of argos watch .
Due to some issue in watch i returned my watch for repairing on 29th Oct 2025.Till today's my parcel is not delivered to me.
Everytime I called to support team for update regarding my watch but no one can give suitable time and feedback for my watch.

So it's not suitable to recommend other people to buy watches from Argos.

Worst customer service, 7 months old watch non functional

They have the worst customer service, within 7 months my watch has become non functional. And to add my misery, their sleeping customer service doesn't bother to respond to my emails for my multiple follow ups. Don't fall for their shiny adds to squeeze money out of you to give a piece of junk in the name of "masterpiece"

It has beeExtremely Delayed Delivery and No Customer Supportn more than a month since I…

It has been more than a month since I placed my order, and I still have not received the product. All I get are automated replies on WhatsApp and emails with no real resolution.

If anyone is considering Argos for a gift purchase—God forbid—you’re making a wrong choice. Even a watch strap I ordered as an extra has not been delivered. If this is how customer handling is done, it speaks volumes about their service.

I would say if you for a watch worth 5k increase your budget a bit and get a luxury watch, It got delivered in my office and when I unbox the box everyone thought it would cost me around 35k
