The WG183E line trimmer you returned to us was thoroughly assessed by a technician, who confirmed that the damage to this tool resulted from no installation of the auxiliary handle, which helps to balance the weight of the trimmer, and improper maintenance, rather than a manufacturing defect, which unfortunately falls outside of our warranty coverage.
However, we note that you were able to keep the batteries from this tool which remain compatible with your other WORX products.
We always strive to be fair and transparent with our warranty process, and our goal is to ensure our customers get the best performance from their tools. While we're unable to approve the claim, we'd be happy to provide guidance on how to properly maintain and care for your tools, to prevent future issues.
