I really wanted this to live up to its advertising hype, but was sorely disappointed. I’ve used it daily for a week but can’t see any darkening of my legs, if anything I’d say that they were lighter! I ve contacted and received a reply from Materna saying that they were looking into it. Two weeks later, I am still waiting for a reply. I’ve gone back to my S*****y Tan, it just needs careful application and wash it off before getting into bed.

Good afternoon, thank you for your honesty and for the apology — it's appreciated. However, we've noticed the review is still showing as 1-star, despite you confirming it relates to a different company. Could you please update the rating to reflect that this wasn't actually an experience with us?
This situation does highlight a real flaw in how Trustpilot operates: reviews can be left by anyone, regardless of whether they've actually made a purchase, which leaves genuine businesses exposed to reviews that have nothing to do with them. By comparison, platforms like TikTok Shop only allow customers who have purchased a product to leave a review, a system that protects both consumers and honest businesses far better.

The Best Sunbed Tanning Accelerators I've used
Great quality, great results after only a couple of sunbeds, and I'll definitely be ordering again.
I've tried a lot of tanning accelerators over the years, but these are honestly some of the best I've used. I've now tried Mango Glow and Ultimate Glo. The texture is lovely, smooth, and easy to apply, not sticky at all.
The fragrances are amazing and make the whole tanning experience feel that bit more luxurious.
The results have been fantastic, with a deeper more even tan after only a few sunbeds, and my skin feels really moisturised after every use.
Highly recommend anyone looking for a premium tanning accelerator that delivers on its promises.

Save your money, no refund for fake/faulty goods
Save your money! This does not work like it is portrayed in socials, it offers a 30 day money back guarantee however when you ask to return it the company send you an automated email, stating it would be analysed on its return and you have to fund the return yourself so you will be out of pocket for a fake product that does absolutely nothing. I have asked for management to contact me with a resolution, but sadly nothing is forthcoming.

Very dissapointing doesn’t tan
Well I had high expectations from this product. I followed the instructions and applied the product and waited and waited nothing happened I don’t think there is any active ingredient in this tube. I even tried it on my forearm which is very pale but again no change in colour.
I shan’t be buying this product again.

Do not trust this company
Do not trust this company. They advertise a 7.5floz tube but deliver a 3.53floz tube (over 50% less product!) They don’t want to listen when you contact them. Offer you a 10% “goodwill” refund to keep the product or full refund if you pay the carriage back to Florida. It is mis-selling at its highest and they should not be allowed to trade in this country.

Don't waste your money. Dove self tan is a million time better. Sadly I fell for the hype ... when will I learn never to buy anything I see on social media. Utterly useless.

Bogus product and company
I am kicking myself that I didn't see these reviews before buying, I think I must have found a different company. Like everyone else I have found this cream to make no difference whatsoever to the colour of my legs. A complaint to the company results in a polite request to send photos of the product and I just know that they are going to follow the well worn pattern of other bogus Chinese companies, and will wriggle out of refunding. I have issued a demand for the refund of my payment, as the product is not fit for purpose (using the wording my credit card company recommends) and if I don't get a satisfactory response, they will extract the money from this company.
If you are considering buying this "miracle tanning cream" just don't!

A company called Auratan UK have requested that I remove this review. My review (& I think many others here) are for an Aura self-tan lotion marketed by a company called Materna. If you Google Materna Tanning Reviews you get directed to this page. If it is indeed the wrong company these reviews must be very upsetting.
I have asked Trustpilot to investigate.

Hello,
I am contacting you regarding my recent order, which finally arrived after a significant delivery delay and several unanswered emails.
Unfortunately, when I opened my parcel, I discovered that the 2x exfoliator I ordered was missing. Instead, I received a2 x OceAura Strawberry Matte Cream, which I did not order.
Please arrange for the exfoliator I paid for to be sent to me at no additional cost.
I am also disappointed with the tanning product. I followed the application instructions carefully, applying it to clean, dry skin and leaving it to develop overnight, but I can see little to no colour development. I have done this twice now with no results
After waiting so long for my order, receiving no replies to my previous emails, and then receiving an incorrect item, I am very disappointed with my experience.
Please confirm that you will send the missing exfoliator and advise me what you propose regarding the tanning product that has produced little to no visible result.
I would appreciate a prompt response.

Massively disappointing
Don't buy this product. If it looks too good to be true ..... It doesn't cover thread veins. It also - bizarrely for a self-tan product - doesn't tan. Not even a tiny bit. The hype the product gets is nonsense. I've asked for a refund - as per their 'no risk' policy. Doubt I'll get it.
