Fantastic Course

Great value for money and good content
The tutorials give you information about a wide range of styling niches which is interesting if you are not sure which pathway is yours yet.
Each assignment puts your knowledge to the test and they are mostly a lot of fun to do.
From grabbing a camera and shooting merchandise to before and after looks, I found this course comprehensive
Some of the content would benefit from adding videos of interviews rather than only written materials

I’m pleased you found the course comprehensive. We aim to provide an introduction to all areas of the industry and focus on the fundamental skills and knowledge which can be transferred to any styling avenue. The practical assignments are designed to put this knowledge directly into practice.

We have structured our course in hardcopy format to create a resource library for students to always refer back to rather than replacing the material with videos, but we are in discussion for a few supplementary videos. We actually use a message service provided by a professional call centre, so we will certainly follow up with this and request a copy of the call log relating to your experience.
Being an online course, email is the most efficient way to get in touch as our team monitors our emails 24/7. We did try to call you back, and we had also emailed to assist you with your request when we were unable to reach you via phone.

Do it, you won't regret it!
Hi team, I would like to thank you for giving me the base knowledge of professional styling in a very well-structured manner. During this course I have gained the confidence and have let myself open the creative flow I knew I had. As I already mentioned, I found this course well structured, easy to navigate and full of useful information. Before starting the course I was worried that it will be overwhelming to juggle study/parenting/work, but I am so glad I went with it, as online studying gave me the time to breath and the knowledge to sink in.
If I had to make a suggestion, I would say it needs a little bit of updating when comes to menioned websites/blogs/brands, as in 2023 some of them are irrelevant or even closed down.
Otherwise, I have truly enjoyed my experience, and would like to thank all of your team again for a bumpless ride.

Thoroughly enjoyable
This course was really informative and presented in a clear and easy to understand way. I found the content and assignments enjoyable to do as well as practical to fit around everyday life. I am a mum of three looking to finally start doing something for myself and this course was such a great starting point.

I found the Australian College of Professional Styling a great place to study. They provide an encouraging space of study while being incredibly understanding and accommodating to your individual situation and needs. As a new mother with a new baby and changing carers; I had a lot going on for me. They were compassionate and supportive and worked with me to get things done.
I found the course enjoyable, the staff approachable, the content of high quality, and the feedback beneficial. I would definitely recommend the Australian College of Professional Styling.

I feel the content of the Professional Styling course needs a very much needed update
I feel the content of the Professional Styling course needs to be updated. It suggests it was last updated in 2009. That is 13 years ago - a long time in this industry. Blogs and websites are now common place, Skype is 'old' and 'Zoom' is new.
The photos are out of date too.
More information needs to be given as to what is required in assignments otherwise you are needing to gain an understanding from the 'example assignments'.
I did not feel there was much connection with my tutor. 'Insert First Name' is not my name. In Assignment 7 I chose to write blogs and create a website. In Assignment 8, tutor wrote that now was a good time to start creating a website...

It's not a course on the latest trends but rather about the fundamentals of styling - I will write to you directly about each of your points mentioned above to address your concerns regarding your individual feedback and also regarding missing your name at the top of one of your feedback documents (for which your tutor is very sorry and embarrassed), this came about from human error, but the feedback was very specific to your work.

Valuable information, but would love some video content
I really enjoyed the course and learned a lot. There was a lot of valuable information and I had fun putting together the assessment tasks. I did, however, find that there was a lot of text to read through. I think some video content would be great as people tend to learn in different ways. Being in such a creative industry, there are many people in this field who are very visual. Other than that, I loved getting the feedback from my tutor and there was plenty of time to complete the assessments. I've discovered many options within this industry and excited to see where it takes me. I would certainly recommend this course to family and friends. thank you!

I’ve just completed the course. I’ll be completely open and transparent with my review. I’m very impressed with the knowledge I’ve gained from the course, Trish plus the team have been nothing but supportive and helpful throughout my experience, for someone who struggles with ADHD and dyslexia this didn’t stop me from completing the course I found myself being impressed with the work I was producing, gaining more confidence. I love that it’s self paste for my brain to take in all the information. When I was confused by assignments I didn’t feel intimidated to ask for help and more understanding!
