Was looking for a vehicle check when buying a new car, and as with all others, scammed into a $9.95 a month subscription for no apparent ongoing service. Would also give them minus stars if it were possible.

I am adding to the experience of hundreds of unsuspecting driver owners who thought they were on a legitimate site, when wanting to renew their annual car rego.
ausvehiclecheck.com is operating a criminal SCAM, deluding Users into thinking they have rendered a service. Their intent is malicious & this operation MUST BE SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATELY.

Kept taking money out of my grandparents account even know they didn’t sign up

This is definitely a SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Like others I have been caught with a $9.95 monthly fee taken from my credit card on 26 Nov 2023. I thought I was dealing with a legitimate company obviously not. My credit card has now been cancelled due to this rotten behaviour from Ausvehicle. If I could give Zero star I would have!

They came up when I typed Vic Roads Regio and they charged the account with $0.50 I have notified the bank ASAP and canceled the card. Reporting them to the relevant authorities however, I see a lot of people did report them since March 2023 and it is 23 November 2023 and they still scamming. Report them and cancel your card ASAP if this company appears on your bank records with suspicious amounts being taken off.

This is a scam. You make a one-off rego enquiry for $9.95. They have an annual subscription hidden in the small print to cover them legally. They then take $9.95 a month out of your account monthly until you discover it. Ring May on 1800 831438 to cancel.

Evil scam aided by Bing. I almost fell for it, then read the small print at the bottom of the page. I hate the way Bing puts some other crap ahead of what you're really looking for. DO NOT USE AUSVEHICLECHECK!!

Ausvehiclecheck is a SCAM, I don't know how they got my personal banking details, especially targeted on elderly people. I just knew and filter out transactions from Ausvehiclecheck, here they are:

Started from $0.50 on July and then come up to $9.50 until this month.
Reported to the bank, canceled and changed to new card yesterday.
Start to bring them to the justice. Follow the instructions from the bank.
For now, please tell elderly people and yourself too, do check the banking transactions with "ausvehiclecheck"

This site has been charging me every three months for two years now, and I do not know how to cancel it.

I was just 'scammed' by Ausvehiclecheck which came up ahead of ServiceNSW on the Bing browser with a similar-looking interface. I was careless not to look carefully at the web address. Anyway, now they have my credit card details and have taken 50c for doing nothing but leaving me thinking I had paid my vehicle registration.
Fifty cents is a minor loss, but the real danger is that I could have been left driving around unregistered and unawares until either receiving a fine, or worse still, having an accident in an unregistered vehicle.
I was also careless in using Bing instead of Google--as I just checked Google and Ausvehiclecheck does not appear there, only ServiceNSW in number one spot.

Scam alert. Set themselves up like you can pay your rego, first ad that comes up even when I put service nsw. Immediately took 50c from account. Have gone back in and canceled account but do t like my chances, going straight to bank.

IF YOU ARE PAYING YOUR MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION ONLINE, MAKE SURE THE LEGITIMATE SITE COMES UP. THIS MOB WILL APPEAR FIRST. DONT GO INTO THEIR SITE. I DID. GAVE MY CREDIT CARD DETAILS THINKING I WAS PAYING MY REGO. NOW THEY HAVE TAKEN $10.25 OUT TWICE! GO TO YOUR LOCAL MEMBER TO HAVE THIS SITE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY.
DONT GO INTO THEIR SITE. SCROLL PAST IT!

I have been charged a fee for a service that I didn't request how can they do this I did not give them my account details so how can they get away with this.

Do not use this company. It charges a monthly fee which is not disclosed on the site. Scam! Why does Google continue to have these guys at the forefront of searches for this service???

Similar to others here, I did not pick up the fact that thy are not a government transport agency and entered my bank details. I did not realise that I would be charged a recurring amount until the debit happened. I did not receive any confirmation email from this company about my so called direct debit arrangement so seeing the debit on my statement was an unpleasant surprise.

Tried to pay my Qld rego online and this site came up as the first option. In the process of signing up for an account ( to pay my rego, or so I thought) I unconsciously agreed to an approx $10 per month payment. The first payment appeared to be a transaction fee, and I made a mental note to not to pay this way again. But one month later I have another similar transaction from this mob. Yes, I was naive, but a reputable organisation would take steps to ensure their customers weren't left with this sort of bad taste in their mouth.

SCAM SCAM
I thought that I was dealing with the NSW Motor Transport for a registration check on a vehicle.
Such a check is FREE, but I thought that the NSW Government had stated charging for the service.
This company is a SCAM and appears at the TOP in a Google Search. I am referring the matter the matter
to my bank in the morning.
