Have had same experience as everyone else. They are commiting fraud. Fraud is a crime!
Step 1 : Log a fraud complaint at your local Police station.
2 : Report Autodoctor and Mark Douglas Lowe to the national fraud and cyber crime agency (Report Fraud on Google)
3 : Let the Inland Revenue and Customs and Excise
know of their activities. Ask your self, are they declaring all this cash as they should be. Highly doubtful.
4 : Mark Lowe is registered with Companies House as a director of a limited company and is protected by limited liability.
Make a complaint to Companies House asking whether Mark Lowe is fit to be a company director quoting the reviews on this site. He trades under the name Mobile Auto Electricians. He can be struck off. He then cannot hide under limited liability and if sued as I understand it be liable to lose his house and vehicles.
The more people who complain the greater chance that his nefarious activities will be stopped and justice for hard working innocent people will be served.

Complete Scam Do not deal!!!! Takes your money who by the way is to a lady's account!! Does not respond and phone rings out. Bank notified its a fraudulent account and Action Fraud. Does not even live in Yorkshire!!

Wish I'd looked on here first. I stupidly took this site as legitimate and didn't check on here first. I also stupidly paid £60 upfront as a booking fee. Was told an engineer would be in touch within two days, heard nothing and reading the rest of the reviews I doubt I will. How hasn't this conmans site and bank account been shut down?

'Mark' was meant to come to our house and look at the car. Sent over £60 deposit. Never turned up. Rang again 4 days later, was told by the person that answered the phone he would look into it and see what the problem was with Mark. Didn't hear back, rang again and asked for a refund. Was told they needed to speak to manager. When I put the mobile number in Google found MULTIPLE businesses and areas linked to this number and also this trustpilot page with all of these reviews. Rang him back and told him we knew this was a scam, he said I would get a refund from the bank if I rang them, told him I was reporting it to the police... He didn't deny it.

Spent half an hour on the phone to the police to log it and all the information I had found, now logged and they are aware and looking into it. Logged it with action fraud who have all his details and then the bank to get a refund and lodge a fraudulent activity.
He will be caught.
And Mark Lowe/Mark/Brian/Carl whoever you are, this will all catch up with you. There are multiple people aware of what you're doing.

If this has happened to you, please log it with action fraud and the police, there's more chance of getting this person stopped.

I can only echo all of the other reviews I've sampled here. Carl/Mark Martin (I'm sure someone gave their name as Brian when first speaking) will take £60 by paypal to arrange an engineer and told me it was then £60 an hour. This is the first tap and even that felt slightly wrong. The experience feels increasingly wrong from then onwards. I was contacted by this Faisal. Then I was contacted by the infamous Mark Lowe. Mark said he'd attend between 9-11 AM. This slipped and slipped, wasting my entire day, until he turned up at gone 6 PM in the dark. After approx. 1.5 hours of "work", which comprised taking my working BCM from my working car out, putting it back in again, and leaving me with a working car (in that regard I sound luckier than some), he emailed me an invoice for over £400. Even the invoice was dodgy and conspicuously gave zero details about his name or business address. It just said "Mobile Auto Electricians". The worst of it was a story about his bank account being blocked because it had been hacked and he could only take cash. Bear in mind this was now gone 8 PM, dark, and raining. After I pointed out the omission of key details on the invoice, he expressed surprise and sent an updated one that added the address "12 Merley Lane, Wimborne, Dorset, BH211RX". He refused to leave the job without being paid in full in cash. He then proceeded to pressure me to go with him to a cash point. He continued to pressure me to take my partner's cash card so I could combine daily limits to pay him the full amount in cash. All the while he was insisting he wasn't leaving without the money. I had to go check on my son (it was his bedtime) and took the chance to call the police; we felt that uncomfortable and unsafe. The police ended up mediating that he'd take £250 cash, and that would get him away from my property, and that they'd take me to get the cash and he'd follow. He took the cash with the clear understanding the matter was settled and to never contact me again. Barely an hour later he messages me demanding the "outstanding" amount and threatening legal action. Just do yourself a favour and never, ever, ever call the Auto Doctor number 07989 838383 and you might avoid a similar hellish nightmare.

Still not got my money back from these scum bags - Auto Dr are a complete rip off - phones are answered by a people who work for a company called Smart Lead Ltd who will tell you they answer calls nationwide. The director is Carl Martin who is registered with Companies House and his address is 24 Birchinlee Avenue, Oldham, United Kingdom OL2 5EL - Do not believe a word these people tell you, trading standards need to be involved or Rogue Traders …. someone will catch up with them!!!

Shocking service. Faisal came to my house and said I may need an ecu, paid a lot for him to come out. Turns out it didn’t need doing and it was a 5 min job to fix the car. He said he would come back over 5 times and never showed up or text to say he couldn’t come. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!

Autodoctor is a scam company run by Carl and Mike Martin, this is run in conjunction with Mark Lowe another scam merchant running a company called mobile auto electricians ltd, over the years he has used many company names, this being the latest. Please note the name is generic and hard to find when using google. How the scam works, you come across autodoctors website, which is pretty vague in itself, but you need help for your car, so you pay Messrs martin £60 for the privilege of finding you a mechanic and lo and behold Lowe appears like the mystical fat genie, he promises all manner of fixes and wizardry, but unlike the genie, delivers nothing other than heartache and an empty wallet. Do not be fooled by the tales from him of his pacemaker and how he's been ripped off, the only person ripping off is Lowe. This man and his companies have ripped of hundreds of people for, my guess, hundreds of thousands, not just individuals, companies, landlords he doesn't care who, he just wants your money.

This scum bag charged my girlfriend £60 prior to a call out. Never showed, and went silent for over a week refusing to answer multiple messages. I eventually made contact, and was told the money would be refunded. You’ll be given many different names, excuses, and told ‘I’m just waiting for my manager to come in so we can process your refund’.
10 days later I finally spoke to someone who actually processed a refund.
I see many others haven’t been so fortunate and this scam is nationwide.
It is of my understanding that Mark Douglas Lowe is the ring leader, and currently resides at-Cherry Tree, West Street, Winterborne Stickland, Blandford Forum DT11 0NT.
Let him know you know where he lives, and you might get your money back.

scam is all i can say 60 booking fee no one will ever turn up

Paid £60 as requested, no callback chased for 2 weeks still no call from engineer, just excuse after excuse.

Rang on a Tuesday last week got told £60 deposit and £60ph to fix the car deposit was paid spent over a week trying to get hold of them a man called Mark came today looked at the car, ended up Taking £250 in cash from me (my disabled kids birthday money for disneyland as I didn't have any cash on me) told me if I canceled the job he wanted more money for the "work" he did today (which was just him looking at the engine and running a diagnostic) he wants me to wire him more money which is a different bank account to the deposit, its been such a sh*t show i wish i found these reviews beforehand , I did have trouble finding the website I found them on , so many red flags I ignored out of desperation to get the car fixed .

Never ever use this company. I was at a horse show and called them because my electrics weren’t working. They told me £60 call out and they would have someone within 24 hours. Nothing! Then I received a text from Mark on the Friday asking for my wagon details so I sent the text back with all details 2 minutes later. Still nothing until Sunday evening at 20.25.
Got back in touch to tell them not to bother and send the £60 back.
I had a massive argument with Mark who told me I was a silly woman I was liar and I should listen and then hung up, not before I told him a few home truths!
Arrogant vile people taking other people’s hard earned money. Should be stopped.

They will steal £60 from you.They pretend to be the company who do the work but instead they just give out tradesmen details who are supposed to do the work.Cant believe I fell for it.Their number is 07989838383 Carl Martin and SmartLead are all scammers as well as their dodgy tradesmen.My contact was an autoelectrician in Basildon named Faisal who wasted my time for 3 days before refusing to answer my calls.I guess they are working together.

I Sally Gilson like an idiot paid £60.oo to have my EOS roof repaired, they sent out John who could not do the job, had ammonia then something wrong with his arm. Then Mark who showed me the photos of the roof down telling me this is repaired demanding payments and very forcible. Phoned several time and in the morning demanded the 799.14 pounds for work carried out I paid him then he told me where my keys was. When I got in the car the left side was not sitting properly then I noticed all the damage paint work on the sides of the car and bonnet and the rood does not work

I contacted Auto Doctor at the end of March over an issue i had with the rear lights of a Transit van. I was told to pay £60 and an auto electrician would contact me ASAP. Stupidly I paid and waited. After several days of no contact I called Autodoctor again to find out what was happening. I was assured i would get a call very soon.
Later that day i got a call from a guy called Mark to say he would be there the next day. The next day came and nothing until late afternoon when i got a call from an associate of Mark to say he has the runs and will not be able to attend until the next week.
on the Wednesday of the next week i got a call to say he was feeling better and would be attending later that afternoon. He turned up approx 3pm and went to work. i got a call a couple of hours later to say the van needs an new BCM which will cost over £600 plus his time and coding the price was over £1000 plus over £300 for his time that day. He demanded payment immediately by bank transfer which i explained my company only do bank transfers on a friday. He was not pleased but agreed.
All day Thursday and Friday i was bombarded with calls from him asking where his money is, which i explained would be with him Friday evening.
Friday evening came and he was paid in full and i received a message from him thanking me and appologising for being short with me. He explained the part will take 7-10 days to arrive and he will be in touch when he has it.
I left it for about 10 days with no contact so i decided to call him which went to his voice mail. this happened a lot of times until eventually he did answer. He assured me he would be in contact on the Sunday evening with a date and time to fit the part. Sunday came and went and nothing so I started calling him again, all of which resulted in his voice mail. He replied by text a couple of times by text saying he was busy and would call me later which funnily enough never happened, so here we are 6 weeks later with no contact from him.
We have now found these reviews on Trust Pilot and know now for sure we have been scammed so will be reporting to police and trading standards and have contacted our bank to try and receive all money paid to him.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Terrible service. Said they would come to our assistance in 30- 90 mins. After time expired we rang to see how long they would be. They said 30-90 mins. We explained we had previously been told the same. Hung up three times. Then said they had to wait for engineer response. They should not be practicing as a legitimate company. Avoid at all costs.

Scam..a bloke called carl martin took 60 quid upfront and then got put onto a bloke called Mark who was really rude when contacted about what time he was due to show up. He didn't show up at all the first day and then rang me 24hrs later and swore at me after cancelling the appointment due to being a day late. He blamed the admin who I assume is Carl and then repeatedly rang me until I blocked him. I've been asking for a refund for a week now and promised payment but no payment was received. I know now to read reviews before giving over any money as a deposit. Stupid on my part but then people like this remind you that there's some dirty !@#£%^& out there who don't care about doing right by there customers
