I finally found the info I needed regarding wire gauge for motorized panic bar release. Outside of product manuals which I don't have this is the only place I found the recommended wire size verses length. Now I think my guess is correct that alarm sensor wire (used to power motor ~30' from power supply), probably 22 gauge, results in too high of a voltage drop and can't fully retract the bar. Thanks so much for this detailed information.

Rip off of a company, rude coustomer support. They will overcharge on shipping for something that weighs under an ounce $20 plus they send not full order and will not refund .
