Extremely poor experience. They took a full payment and were not able to guarantee me a vehicle. Now I am on a hook not knowing if I receive what I paid for. Total nonsense.

I booked a car through Auto Europe because they advertised a “Zero Deductible Rate” that included all major insurances. I specifically chose that option to avoid any additional charges at the rental counter. But when I arrived, the local supplier (Avis) charged me extra for insurance and roadside assistance — fees I thought were already covered.

When I reached out to Auto Europe, they told me I should have declined those charges, even though their own website made it seem like everything was prepaid and included. It felt like a trap: unclear terms, fine print that contradicts the offer, and no real accountability.

This was a terrible experience. I ended up paying far more than expected, and Auto Europe took no responsibility. I’ll never use this service again and strongly advise others to book directly with car rental companies at airports or stations, where terms are transparent and you can speak to someone in person.

Auto Europe may seem cheaper online, but in the end, it cost me more money, more stress, and complete loss of trust.
