The WiFi is terrible

The WiFi is terrible. I am on the LTE wireless network and their WiFi speed drops significantly in the evening to a point where it doesn’t work anymore. I upgraded to a higher package but the issue just got worse. When I try to contact their support I hardly get any help after waiting for hours for them to respond to me. Their service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!

Scam stay away from them said delivery takes 3 days. I bought on parcel 24 March I paid it same day today is 01 April I haven't got my order still dey r deducting money I paid prorated for days I had never used now still dey deducting money for April while I haven't receive my order wen I call dey hang up

The customer service is very disappointing, they are not empthathetic, they dont have any way of helping a person. You will stay on chat with them for 3 hours to no avail. If you can please use a different service provider. The inconvinience is not worth it. I canceled a service 3 months ago and yet I am still being charged for it. I ordered a new fibre line 3 weeks ago and till today it has not been up, its one excuse after another, one story after another and one inconvinience after another. I stay in the city, this should be easy to resolve but no, not with them. I have spent so much money finding alternative methods of internet.

Big promises no delivery

I applied for fibre account and they sent the router without the necessary cables. Now I am battling to get them to fix the installation and have paid for a service I am not able to use

If I could give zero star I would

If I could give zero star I would - I have battled for months with intermittent internet and buffering - I call the help line daily or twice a day now - despite the frontline going the through the motions of refreshing g the line there is no real change in service - my service is 150Mbps - am certainly not getting what I am paying for.
Even trying to escalate to supervisory level has not illicted a reply a week later.
They used to be so good.

Customer service is HORRIBLE

Customer service is HORRIBLE. One of our nurses actually waited on hold for THREE HOURS before her call was taken. I myself have waited on hold for 45 minutes to have a call answered and then was unable to have a resolution. These long wait times are completely unacceptable, especially when we are seeking support for critical clinical operations. The lack of responsiveness from the service team has made it increasingly difficult to address urgent issues in a timely manner.
I also placed a ticket in Dec 2025 to have Axxess integrate with Point Click Care for a pilot program. As of today 2/9/26, it is still uncompleted and no one can give me a completion date. But yet they will certainly waste no time in charging me! The only reason I do not find an alternate EMR is because the ease of the documentation for my clinicians.

Unauthorized overseas calls was made on our line after hours we logged the complaint immediately on the 12th January calls was made on the Saturday the 10th, since then I am following up with them they keep on saying the ticket is with the back office, no manager is available to speak to no one is there to listen to your complaint. We are running a business and cannot use our phones no income or outgoing calls can be made. And they don't care!!!

Second time I am having to reconfigure…

Second time I am having to reconfigure my router/fibre line to which I have run through all the prompts from Axxess to regain internet connectivity and I am still left without connectivity. I pay for my internet every month and yet I must go through such unnecessary processes to be connected to the internet that I pay for. link layer is not down in my area. When will this issue be addressed instead of ongoing tickets logged and nothing resolved

Experienced a few issues with the website. Spoke to a guy named Luba, excellent customer service, straight to the point, doesn't stutter. I'm also in Customer Service but that was probably one of the best services provided by an agent. Hats off.

MTN Fixed LTE just went from 120Mps to 30Mpbs..

in 2023 I signed up for MTN Fixed LTE- 125Mbps package, wish worked well most of the time. 2 Weeks ago, beginning of November 2025 my connection speeds dropped to 30Mbps and latency of up to 400ms. Logged a support ticked, even have an ICASA case logged. To date and daily updated from me and Speedtest result, I still have only a max connection speed of 30Mbps. So, this look like the connection is just downgraded, and the customer is wrong. At least the latency is much better (sic)

Got MTN 5G in April 2025 worked well…

Got MTN 5G in April 2025 worked well until August 2025. DL speeds were always above 200 Mbps and only dropped below that during some peak hours 18:00 to 21:00. UL speeds were never very good and ranged between 2Mbps and 8Mbps. Since August 2025 the DL speed was throttled to 60 Mbps. I logged a service ticket and it was back to normal for less than a week and the process repeated for about 3 weeks after which my tickets were ignored and the responses changed to the service is not throttled while it is and speed test proof was supplied.

Daylight robbery

If I could give a 0 rating, I would. I have been with Axxess for around 10 years. I have never had a problem till now. After fighting for almost 3 months to get 2 fibre lines, there's now a catch! There are so many "fine prints", if you do not understand them extremely well and are willing to be caught paying double your installments, by all means carry on. Be highly CAUTIOUS!!! They will drain your bank account and tell you to read the fine print.

Axxess to hell

If I could give zero stars, I would.

Axxess used to be one of the best ISPs in South Africa — now it’s an absolute mess.

I cancelled my service because of their abysmal support. During the process, I clicked a link offering more info about a retention discount — not to accept it — and without any confirmation or warning, they locked me into a new contract.

I contacted them immediately to cancel and was told it would be fine. Now, two months later, with my cancellation date approaching and a new provider ready to take over, they’re refusing to release the line and claiming I’m still locked in.

This is pure deception, wrapped in weak customer service and zero accountability.

Avoid this provider — they’ll do anything to trap you, and you’ll get ghosted the moment you push back.

DO NOT ACCEPT ANY PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNT, THEY WILL LOCK YOU INTO A SUBSCRIPTION THAT CANNOT BE CANCELLED UNTIL THE PROMOTION HAS EXPIRED - JUST SO THEY CAN STEAL 1 EXTRA MONTH OF PAYMENT FROM YOU IF YOU DO DECIDE TO CANCEL, EVEN IF YOU DON'T PLAN ON USING THE SERVICE AT ALL. Axxess what kind of crap is this? your agents who respond to our messages and calls lack experience they don't know what they talk about. You make clients wait for days after making payment without prividing the service paid for .

The worst network ever, keeps dropping and fails to reconnect when you call to log a complaint they put you on hold and drop the call , never got any assistance till now I’m migrating to another service provider this month
