Tremedous positive and quick response to my inquiry. I needed another 2" in width and they have agreed to send it out without charge. Absolutely got my business forever with this customer service. I will tell everyone about this.

Read the fine print and pay for shipping

Gate said no drill required and can go to 47" wide (very clearly at the top in the description). Then it arrives and says if you want to make it wider than like 32" it has to be drilled!??! I can't drill, there is a steel post. Then I contact Customer support and they are like give us all these details, photos AND customer has to pay shipping! Absurd.

The gate you purchased is a pressure-mounted gate, and all supported widths within the listed range can be installed using pressure mounting without drilling. However, pressure-mounted gates are not suitable for installation on round or cylindrical posts, such as steel posts, as this type of surface can cause instability. This limitation is noted because it applies to all pressure-mounted safety gates, not just ours.

If the installation location includes round posts, we recommend using a square handrail/post adapter, which is available separately and designed to create a stable, flat surface for pressure mounting.

Regarding returns: our return policy clearly states that returns unrelated to product quality require the customer to cover return shipping costs, and this policy is published on our website prior to purchase.

A reliable gate that feels safe and solid

We compared a few baby gates before choosing this one, and the build quality stood out right away. Once installed, it feels stable and secure, which is the main thing we care about as parents.

It opens smoothly with one hand, which is helpful when carrying a child, and it blends in nicely without looking bulky. After a few weeks of use, we’re confident it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to do—keeping our child safe while still being convenient for everyday use.

Great baby gate

Great baby gate, hard to find a gate that works well with a banister (need banister adapter) and does not have a bottom bar (tripping hazard). The wood pattern is an added bonus. Blends in well with our oak trim and banister. Bought another large one that ended up not working for our space. I had intended to return it even with return shipping cost my responsibility. Baby gates are hard to resell. After emailing with customer service they offered me a full refund and keeping the gate for this review. I would not expect that all the time but very appreciative of it! Great company.

Do not recommend

Do not recommend. I was over charged for multiple purchases receipt shows one price but my bank statements show that I was charged more than what I was supposed to be charged. I also never received one of my orders and was given the run around saying that it shipped but the tracking shows that USPS is still waiting on the package. I emailed and their customer service department says it was shipped regardless of what the tracking shows.

I have emailed multiple times about these issues and either never get a response or they just tell me it was shipped and there is nothing they can do.

Good quality and good customer service

I ordered the 30 inch gate that to span a 55 inch doorway. It is good quality and works. I didn't realize that I needed to order an extension to make the original gate fit the opening. When I did, I ended up ordering the wrong height (28 inches vs. 30 inches). Customer service worked with me and sent the correct size, without requiring me to send back the wrong extensions.

Buyer Beware

This gate is high quality, however the design on their only gate that actually attaches to the wall will not work properly if there is door trim or a stair hand rail in the way that prevents it from opening. We could not have known this until receiving it, but the company does not pay for return (international) shipping, so it’s not cost effective, and you’ll just be out the money. They offered a 50% discount on another item, but none of their gates are workable for us. So, buy at your own risk - you won’t get your money back.

Their second offer to me was a 30% refund. After seeing this review they offered me a free gate if I wanted to purchase another one. While this is at least *something* (I do not want another gate as they don’t work for me), what any reasonable buyer would want back is their full purchase price and not to have to play a negotiation game.

Babelio Gates provided amazing customer service—they responded to my email quickly and resolved my concern without any hassle. I really appreciate how supportive and responsive they were. The gate itself is excellent: sturdy, easy to install, and looks great in our home. Highly recommend both the product and the company!

This company will not stand behind their product. Tried repeatedly to get a missing part replaced. Nothing but runaround from them. Just going to cut my loss and buy another brand

blatantly lying customer service

the website only has one width available for the model i ordered 26"-48". i have a 45" opening. the shipment confirmation was emailed to me early the next day with the wrong size. they sent me a link to a different model claiming the website offers my model in a 40". i have sent several screenshots on several platforms with proof that it is impossible to order a 40" gate in this model. they are running me around in circles trying to get me to buy an extension.

Would not recommend

Would not recommend. 7 weeks on from placing my order and I still have not received it. I emailed them to find out what the delay was after three weeks of hearing nothing, and they said they were sold out. However the product is still showing as available to purchase on the website. Unsure if I will ever receive my order but will keep being hopeful.

Terrible Customer Service

We are having a TERRIBLE time trying to do a return with this company. We tried to cancel the gate within 2 hours of the original order and they said they shipped it (they had not). Now, they are giving us the runaround as we try to ship back the return.

Bad company and bad customer support

I bought a baby gate that I received on December 31, 2024. The gate seems okay but this company has no store in the USA. And it’s impossible to get customer support even though they posted a number. I emailed them and after many emails and a negative review on Facebook, they finally emailed me back to send pictures of the gate inside the box. I did that because I knew this gate would not work. I never took the gate out of the box. Then they said due to the high amount of money to return something and this gate has a china address and they will not pay for return. On their website site they plainly say they will accept returns for 30 days. If everything is there. But they wanted to give me a 50% discount voucher for my so called trouble. But I will not use that. I will sell this gate with a loss. These people lie about where they are located and lie about their customers support line. You call that and they have an answer machine. That’s all you get.

Avoid scammers!!

I ordered some accessories from this company and they never arrived. I contacted them via email and received a reply in broken English from a representative named Yogurt, saying the items were out of stock in the UK. They said they would help me cancel the order, but it's been 3 weeks and I still haven't received a refund. I'm glad it wasn't a lot of money, but I want to warn others to avoid these scammers!
