Its exactly what is says and you really can transfer all data to IOS or Android. Just have to buy a 20$ license but its worth it definitely. The result of Apple Samsung and Whatsapp being complicated

As my Galaxy S7 screen broke and i was lost at retrieving my files.
Ordered a used one and did a mob.swap Unfortunately my whatsapp chats and media were not able to be backed up.
Found BackupTrans Whatsapp and was able to retrieve all of my data and more. I was stomped in Merging past and recent chats/media. Contacted support@backuptrans and they guided me through the steps and also commanded my PC through TeamViewer to ensure all went well. Now im a Happy Camper! Money well spent. THANK YOU Backuptrans

I accidentally purchased the Windows version, the support team exchanged it for a Mac license within an hour of my request, great service.

The software itself looks a little ugly but does what it needs to do...transferring all chats and media from my Android to my new iPhone. It's not a process for amateurs, some IT experience/knowledge is required. For me the trickiest part was to enable the developer options on Android and get the "Trust this device" popup. You will find a lot of tutorial out there on this, it's not specific to this application.

This software is the only one not made by "Wondershare" which makes all other software to do this task (MobileTrans, Dr.Fone, Wutsapper) and has a ton of glitchy and unfair marketing out there, e.g. comparing there own products in a "unbiased" way.

Generally: BE WARNED. Whichever software you use to transfer your WhatsApp chats has FULL ACCESS TO ALL YOUR FILES. You are executing code on your PC, your Android and iPhone. You give this software not only access to all your WhatsApp data, but it could also exploit security issues in any of your devices. You give access to an unencrypted iPhone (as you need to disable all security measures).

If you don't absolutely need to transfer your WhatsApp data, don't. If you need to and are willing to spent the money, uninstall all other apps on your Android prior to using this or any other application and transfer the WhatsApp data as the first thing on your new iPhone to expose as little data as possible. Afterwards, change all passwords.

I wanted to transfer my Whatsapp-Data from Android to my new iPhone. I followed the steps in the FAQ/How-To-section but, it didn't work.
I wrote a mail to the support and had an excellent service within 2 hours.

Finally it worked just fine and i will use it again, i have to.

4 Stars only, because the description/How-To was not as straight forward, as it could be. (My problem was finally solved with a mix of two different articles.)

I switched from android to apple and wanted to keep my WhatsApp backups.
It only works with a software like backuptrans. It is pretty easy to follow the steps but I accidently downloaded the wrong software so it didn’t work.
I wrote the support and they helped me patiently until I finally succeeded.
I definitely can recommend the software. Now I have everything an my new phone.

When I recently switched from Android to iPhone I realized that WhatsApp chat history will be lost. A quick web search presented limited options of which only Backuptrans seemed reasonably priced as others required costly monthly/yearly subscription. Sales staff was responsive and guided me to right product Backuptrans Android iPhone WhatsApp Transfer + for Windows(Personal Edition). When the first attempt failed for some reason, the support staff was responsive and guided me to resolve the issue. All communication was by e-mail but timely. Please note that the multi-step process is simple but isn't a single click or automated. And, user interface and functionality is just ok to get the job done!

I needed help to transfer from Android to iPhone and get a very quickly and really good help on weekend. Now it works everything and I did not lose any messages from Whatsapp. Thank you for the support!

Leider kam es beim Transfer von Android zu iOS immer wieder zu abstürzen und erzwungenen reboots des Iphone.
Der Support wurde kontaktiert und es kam in angemessener Zeit eine Rückmeldung.
Der Vorschlag des Supports war, dass ich mehr Speicherplatz am PC freigeben solle. Das WhatsApp Backup hat eine Größe von 2,7GB, mein PC hat 10GB freien Speicher und das Iphone hat 96GB frei. Auf die Frage wie viel Speicher denn nötig sei kam die Antwort, dass mindestens 32GB frei sein müssen. Auf meine neuerliche Rückfrage ob das dann garantiert funktioniert kam leider nichts mehr retour. Bin ehrlich gesagt nicht bereit mehr als 32GB Speicher frei zu machen für ein Backup von der Größe von 2,7GB, und das ohne jegliche Garantie ob es überhaupt funktioniert.
Nachdem ich hier auch bereits von mehreren Problemen im Zusammenhang mit Iphone 12 Pro gelesen habe, werde ich ohnehin die Finger von dieser Software lassen.
Fazit: rund € 25,00 Lehrgeld bezahlt und Finger weg von jeglicher Software von Backup Trans!

Very useful tool to move all the whatsapp chats from android to iPhone. Even all media in the chats are preserved. Support is helpful and responds quickly to questions. The only possible improvement is a better step by step guide. Therefore 4 stars.

I just wanted to thank you for the amazing software! I finally managed to transfer my whatsapp messages from my old Android to my new iPhone. I have been searching for a long time for a good software and tried Drfone but it failed so hard even after contacting their support team. If there is one thing I wish to be improved, is to provide a clearer manual and a more modern interface.

I had problem with transferring the messages. In a teamviewer meeting the problem was solved. The reason was that Avast Secure blocked one file in the program. The help from backtrans was great

I realized late that i bought the wrong program ANDROID to IPHONE, but I needed the opposite.
I wrote to support and they changed my key to use for the right program.
I completed the procedure and I saved all my old messages!!
They was very very kindly and hopeful.

For something which should just not be a problem and should be solved by Apple - these guys provide the solution. I got all my Media and Messages transferred and now eben have a Backup. Support is also available and answers quickly.

When it comes to Whatsapp, it's always so frustrating because Whatsapp is the only application to be so difficult to transfer. And I know it's super upset to lose records to some people.

To buy or not to buy - the same question I had before since it might be fake, or might not work. But I can say it is super worth buying.

Although it was not working so perfectly, the support team's response is so quick that they solved the problem within a day. And they are loving to help every customer step by step.

For those people who see Whatsapp record as important as any part of it, I strongly recommend buying it!

REALLY great. I would give them 6*s if I could. Now the software is undoubtedly quite janky, but at the end of the day it does what it's meant to do. And most importantly, their customer support is incredible. I had various problems and every single time I received a prompt response and a solution.

Dont bother to try it with the free Version but the paid one works just amazing.
It is kinda difficult still but their support is very Helpfull and the transferring worked just fine step by step.
