Got my suitcase a week after placing order

I was initially concerned after placing my order because I came across these negative reviews. However, my experience turned out to be very positive. I'm UK based, and ordered a suitcase on 9th April, received a confirmation email straight away, and a shipping confirmation the following day.

My order arrived after a week via DHL, which was a relief. One thing worth noting is that the DHL tracking emails went to my junk folder and looked somewhat suspicious at first, as they referenced “My Tasko products GmbH” rather than the brand/ site I ordered from. Because of this, I initially assumed they might be spam.

If you’re waiting for your order, it’s worth checking your junk mail for shipping updates from DHL, even if they don’t look immediately familiar. Overall, I had a smooth experience and received my item without any issues.

Do not buy here

Do not buy here! Parcel got stuck in customs and arrived two weeks late. When I wanted to return it they informed me that I would have to pay for re-delivery and customs.

Bag arrived on time but no after sales service

Bag arrived on time, but after 3 months it had not worn well. When I approached customer service for advice I was redirected to another company and then was offered a refurb service for an outrageous fee of £185. No mention of warrantee coverage or any assistance with contacting the bag manufacturer .
It's just basically a bag warehouse with no interest in after sales customer service. That's fine as long as you are aware if anything goes wrong you are on your own.

Very Poor Service

I placed an order for two suitcases with these on the 5th February. By the 23rd February i still had not received a despatch notification so i mesaged their customer service for more detail.

They informed me saying that it had cleared customs and was on the way to the depot. I was not aware at the time of purchase that this website was located outside the UK.

I emailed again on the 5th March asking again for an update as the tracking information had not changed and was informed by them that i must wait and it would take aslong as it takes.

I responded that i understood that the delivery was out of their control but i was not prepared to wait indefinately.

On the 20th March i emailed them again and on the 24th they responded saying they would be issuing a refund.

I then received four automatic emails saying they had received my return and the refund would be issued.

I only received half the original amount so i went back to them again and they just kept saying they had issued all refunds.
I eventually had to log a dispute with PayPal evidencing that only half my refund had been issued. PayPal promptly resolved the issue and refunded the outstanding balance.
I would highly recommend avoiding this website as i'm not even sure my item was ever despatched. Their customer service is extremely poor and they tried to withold my money.

In all fairness it may not be the sellers fault as it is out of their hands once it is at customs however between customs clearance and arriving in the UK it took almost a week which left me having to source another case.

No bag recieved, and no reply from customer service when emailing them about a refund.
TERRIBLE.....
Update- After repeated emails and writing a bad review, I have now had a refund.

`north Face back pack luxe

I ordered a North Face back pack which was a good price. Paid and had the email to say the order was accepted. I then, unfortunately, looked at the Trustpilot reviews. I thought that I would be going through my bank for a refund. I emailed the company to ask what the average postage time was, and was advised 5-7 days.
the reply was sent in a timely manor, so I remained hopeful.
I recieved my bag, within 7 days as hoped. Great bag, great price.
I'm thankful to have had a good service. Yes the company is German, and the co.uk seems to lead to us assumming its in the UK. But I could not fault the service and would use them again as I saved around £20+ by buying from them.

If I could give this company zero stars…

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I ordered a bag and did not receive a confirmation. Despite emailing the company and them taking over £300 from my account they have emailed and told me their transaction failed and I should order again.

Do not order from this company. It is not a UK site and they are scamming customers.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. Refuse to accept returns so they get returned to sender despite insisting the sander pays postage and customs.
It’s not worth it don’t take the risk!

I was a bit anxious about my order…

I was a bit anxious about my order because I read some bad reviews after I had ordered, but my bag came 6 days after I ordered it, they kept me updated throughout and it was beautifully packaged. I am so pleased with it all.

Having read the negative reviews . I was bit conserned, having spent £309 on a rucksack with them . All is well commuication was ok
. They reassured me that it was the product was on its way . The shipment was free from Germany . Im well happy with them .

Great suitcase, good price, poor communication

Bags.co.uk, great suitcase, good price, but the delivery felt like a never-ending cliffhanger. Wrong tracking number, and it took over two and a half weeks—by the time it arrived, I was practically planning a sequel. But hey, at least the suitcase is ready for my next adventure—assuming it arrives before I do!

Shame really, with a bit more communication, none of this would be an issue. Even though the products are dispatched from Germany, not a problem, but more accurate tracking would be helpful and result in less wondering if it’s ever going to show up.

Positive Experience!

I had a good experience with this company, despite feeling slightly anxious having placed an order before reading the negative reviews. Firstly, the price was the most competitive I found for this particular backpack. Secondly the item arrived within the advertised delivery window- 4 days. Finally I am very happy with the item which was completely as described. They do ship from Germany and I didn’t have to return anything so can’t comment on that aspect of the process but overall I would use again.

I ordered a new Samsonite suitcase from this website and they sent a confirmation email with a tracking number - all looked good. But when about 10 days later I wrote an email to follow up, I had a response saying that the bag was stuck at boarder control. A few days later I wrote again to follow up (as the tracking said it had cleared boarder control a week ago), and no reponse.
I wrote to the bank and managed to get a refund on the transaction.
Please save yourself the pain - I don't think this company is legitimate and I don't think there was ever a suitcase sent to me - just a front to take money.

Good value and good quality from Germany

Personally I had great service. A brilliant product delivered quickly. Nearly didn't order because of the negative reviews here but they had the case I wanted.
I ordered a Redolz hard shell cabin case on Sunday night and it was delivered Friday. Case is excellent quality and was about 40% cheaper than any others I could find.
I agree it's misleading to use a .co.uk address for a German company and their delivery times do state that they only apply to German addresses but you have to scroll down to read that. Otherwise they would have had 5 stars from me.

Goods never arrive

Goods never arrive. Company is based in Germany and say DHL will deliver in 3 days. If you contact them it says their site is under maintenance. Avoid this retailer as many others are saying on here.

Fake website

Fake website. Company based in Germany but goods never arrived. Shipping update said “waiting customs clearance” for 2 weeks. Customer service team did not help at all. Had to report to the credit card provider.

Excellent communication from this company, responded promptly to every one of my E-mail queries, item arrived within 5 days of ordering and was exactly as described. I was genuinely worried after reading reviews but perfect experience from start to finish. Genuine review from a happy customer.

Buyer Beware! Scam Alert – Avoid Bags.co.uk at All Costs

I was lured in by a deep discount, but this company is a total scam based in Germany despite the .co.uk website. They provided a shipping address via email, I sent the return package there with correct customs docs (proof from post office + took photos of the parcel), yet they REFUSE to collect it, claiming "issues" beyond their control. Now they're stonewalling my full refund. I'm taking my evidence to the bank for a chargeback – DO NOT BUY HERE! Total fraudsters preying on discounts. Save your money and steer clear!
