I ordered a classic Victoria sponge and some cupcakes for my daughter’s first birthday, all of our guests were astounded by the delicious and moreish cakes.

A real home-made feel, both in taste and in design. The cakes were presented very well, even more pretty than in the photos online!

I would say they are excellent value for money. The communication from Geraldine was great throughout.

Delighted with the Strawberry Gateau and Cupcakes bought for our baby’s 1st birthday. Tasted wonderful and were a treat to look at. Delivered promptly. We won’t hesitate to use Bakeaway again.

We placed a large (cakes for 100) order with Geraldine at relatively short notice. We chose a variety of types of cake and all were delicious. We especially recommend the coffee walnut, victoria sandwich - someone said the best they'd ever eaten and she's an expert! - lemon drizzle and the vegan carrot cupcakes. Actually they all are very good. Geraldine not only fulfilled the order perfectly, she even contacted me from her holiday beach with advice about our choices. We definitely will be coming back to Geraldine for our next event.

Oh and my grandson had the Oreo birthday cake, a great success.

We’ve bought cakes from BakeAway Ewell on a number of occasions, either for a special occasion, just because we love them or as gifts for family members. They are always delicious, fresh, light and, when they should be, moist and/or fruity. The blueberry and lemon loaf is a family favourite and we also love the carrot cake. They are both moreish!

BakeAway Ewell appears to specialise in tasty, simple, traditional cakes that don’t break the bank. Sometimes for birthdays or special parties, we have been tempted to buy high end, highly decorated or novelty cakes, but they never taste as good as BakeAway Ewell’s cakes, which seem so fresh and less processed than all the other cakes we have come across, so now we’ve taken to buying the cakes we love from BakeAway and, if they need a bit of flare for a special occasion, throwing some excessive cake toppers on top and getting everything we want.

Part of me is very glad to almost always be able to get a slot at BakeAway, but equally their tastiness should be shared and discovered by new customers.

4 stars as I ordered a batch of 6 muffins rather than 12. I was not expecting to still pay full price tho!

I reached out to Geraldine for a choc fudge cake very last minute actually and she replied via the instant chat with a quick update confirming what she could and couldn’t do. We quickly had a chat on the phone and she very kindly offered to have the cake prepared for the same afternoon/evening. Geraldine was quick to respond via text and her cake was absolutely divine!! A beautiful homemade choc fudge cake with lettering that wasn’t too rich, had a soft sponge and delicious icing on top. We now know who are favourite local baker will be and will definitely be reaching out to Geraldine for future celebrations!

Absolutely delicious red velvet cake, my mum said it was the best red velvet she's ever tasted. I had tried your cakes at the Surbitonian Grind and had to ask them where they got them from and if I could order them. Such yummy cake.

They do the best homemade cake. They're so fresh, light and delicious. Biscoff cake in particular is amazing! Which is my son's favourite cake ever!! Wonderful customer service and accurate delivered to my door. Everyone who tried it was saying Loved! the cakes.
