When I first received the product I absolutely loved it. Great customer service and product worked great.
Then I needed a replacement shaver because mine died.
They were going to send one with my next subscription shave head. However, that was over six months ago and they have gone out of business and took my money as well other people’s money.
Bought my first Bakscape in 2024. Used it for exactly a year, no problems. The next month, the powerhead died. I ordered another and explained the issue with the first one. They offered a small discount with the second purchase. That item came and I used it maybe 3 times over the course of a month and that powerhead died too. I have reached out several times since November 2025, crickets, no response at all. Seems like they don't want to deal with the problems of their crappy product.
My battery kept dying and I was waiting for a warranty replacement. This was supposedly shipped in September. I never received it and have had no communication from them since despite many attempts. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for your body shaving needs. The BBB wasn't even able to get in touch with them. Terrible customer service.

The item is mediocre at best, it takes practice to use this tool effectively. The blade appear to get dull quite quick and I am not that hairy.
Issue is, the 2nd Gen shavers have a battery / charging issue which appears to be a known issue after much internet searching. It will stop charging to a point the device becomes a paperweight. When you contact customer support, they initially engaged with me via email and pretended to send the exchange - but never received a tracking email. Then they became quiet. They will not pick up the phone call, not respond to emails or their online chat.
I suspect this known issue has overwhelmed the small company to a point where they are shutting down.
Product is great but does take some practice to get to all areas. Handle is a little flimsy and my shaver did fall out. However it was easy enough to put back together and worked a treat.
There is a subscription for the shaver heads but this proves expensive with delivery change if you are in the UK
