Had a little iron clip broken on the iron gold color plated brand tag on my Balmain shoes.
Shoes are allready a full 3 years old.
Asked the shop where i bought them, if Balmain can send me a new brand tag plate.
Instead Balmain respond with send them to us we will fix them if possible.
Got them back yesterday, no cost at all.
Fixed it 100%
Thats what they call SERVICE!!!
Even after 3 Years, its above my expectations.

Shameful customer service

Up until today, I loved Balmain. Unfortunately, today was the day I had to deal with customer service.

I was in the middle of completing checkout with a leather jacket that was on sale for 60% off when the price abruptly changed in my cart back to full price just before I completed the purchase. This happened on Sunday night going into Monday morning. I looked around the site and saw that the entire sale section had been removed, much to my disappointment, but since I had the item page open in another tab, I refreshed it and confirmed that the jacket was still available in my size though not offered for sale anywhere on the site except through that direct link. I figured it was a long shot but I’d reach out to customer service to see if they could assist me in completing my purchase.

The wait time was over 24 hours. Finally, two different representatives responded to my chat at two different times telling me they’d look into my inquiry, left me waiting for multiple additional hours and never came back to the chat. Next, I tried calling - the woman I spoke with acted as though I had just woken her from a deep slumber to ask the time. She didn’t even know what item I was talking about after I provided both the style name and item number and confused it with a different one (always fun when you know more about the line than the people who work there). She wasn’t nice at all and wasn’t helpful or knowledgable so I decided to give the chat one last try. This time I actually got a person AND a response! The response was that they reserve the right to end sales without notice (obviously, but cool copy/paste job there) and I was welcome to use my direct link to buy last season’s jacket at full price if I still wanted it. Apparently I had jumped into act one of Legally Blonde.

Here’s the thing - if they had told me the sale ended and they were no longer selling the jacket, I would’ve accepted that response and no bridge would’ve been burned. But by telling me verbatim that I was welcome to overpay for last season’s merchandise because they don’t “price match” - as though that’s what I had asked them to do - and after making me wait an entire day just to be ghosted by multiple agents, that shows a lack of respect for my patronage and my time and absolutely does burn a bridge. I’ve placed at least 4 online orders in the last 6 weeks. I'm a recurring customer, and I’m very brand loyal. Because of that loyalty, and because I pay high price points, I expect a certain level of customer service. Unfortunately, Balmain takes the lowest bar and shimmies under it.

Updating just to add that all of my purchases have been from us.balmain.com, not some site impersonating the brand. It is the actual brand itself that treats its customers so poorly.

Already my third time ordering from…

Already my third time ordering from Balmain, and I could not be more pleased! Delivery is insanely fast, packaging is always top notch (branded box with cute ribbon), and of course the quality is always great. True luxury experience. I am very happy!

Ik heb online een product van balmain…

Ik heb online een product van balmain Parijs besteld. Na een week ging de deurbel. Het pakje lag voor de deur en ik zag de vervoerder weg rijden. Het pakje was open en heb meteen foto’s gemaakt en een klacht ingediend bij balmain en foto’s mee gestuurd. Ik kreeg het bericht van balmain dat ik geen bewijs had. En niet vergoed krijg. Ik had bewijs genoeg. Toch weigeren ze. Absurd dit.

Disgusting scammers! Took 56 pounds off me and sent nothing!!! This was Xmas present for my daughter.. what I thought was a lovely garden light.’..Balmyna.com does not exist! FB should be more aware of scammers.. Never Ever buy from a FB website!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience as a Balmain customer and feel compelled to share it here to warn other potential buyers.

I purchased a pair of Balmain sneakers from Milanelo, in Cartagena, Colombia. After just a few months of very light and careful use, the Balmain logo started to come off one of the shoes. The sneakers are in excellent condition aside from this issue, clearly showing minimal wear.

When I contacted Milanelo, the retailer, I was told they only offer a 3-month warranty. My product was just outside this period, so they refused to help me further. I feel this is insufficient for a high‑end product with an international reputation of excellence.

I then reached out to Balmain’s official customer service via email, explaining the situation and even providing photographs and receipts to prove the product is genuine and barely used. Their answer was simply to refer me back to the store where I purchased the shoes.

I replied, explaining that the store’s warranty period is extremely short, that I live abroad (in Brazil), and that I believe this is a manufacturing defect—not regular wear and tear, nor customer misuse. I asked Balmain to stand by their commitment to quality and offer assistance or at least clarify their manufacturer warranty. Since that message, Balmain has not responded at all.

As a customer, I feel taken advantage of and deeply disappointed. These sneakers were the most expensive pair I have ever bought, yet they were also the ones that deteriorated the fastest, despite careful and limited use. I expected much more from a luxury brand like Balmain.

All I ask is for the brand or the store to take responsibility and help resolve this issue with a fair solution. If you are considering a Balmain product, I recommend you inquire about the real warranty coverage and after-sales support, as my experience has been unacceptable

Fake products and zero customer service at "Balmain" in Dubai Mall

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at the so called "Balmain" store in Dubai Mall. We bought two pairs of slippers and both broke on the first day. The glue under the soles came apart immediately. When we returned to the store to ask for a refund, which any normal store would offer when the product is clearly faulty, we were met with excuses and denial. They claimed the damage happened because we walked on the beach or in a hot area. But what difference does that make? You are selling products in Dubai they should be made to withstand the climate here.

Instead of taking responsibility, they offered us another pair of the same slippers, which were the actual problem. After more than two hours of going back and forth, and phone calls to a "manager" who sounded completely uninterested in helping, we ended up having to accept some t-shirts and still lost money. They refused to refund us or offer a better product as compensation.

We also strongly believe the products are fake. All clothes were packed in cheap clear plastic bags without any branding or proper packaging, nothing like how real Balmain presents its items. The store itself felt messy and dirty more like a street market than a luxury brand boutique. Compared to other high-end stores in Dubai Mall, this place felt completely out of place.

This experience really made us question how something like this can be allowed in Dubai’s most famous shopping mall. It damaged our trust in the mall and made us think twice about where and how to spend our money in Dubai.

Je comprend mieux cette note ! J’ai acheté un sac pour un cadeau 2200 euros ils ont reçu depuis le 7 juin on est le 21/06/2025 aucun remboursement j’ai écris 10 mails et rien ! C’est pas normal ni remboursement ni sac ! Arnaque ça s’appelle ! C’est honteux d’une marque comme eux

Deep Disappointment in the Balmain Brand

Buyer beware--I would rate zero stars if I could! As a style curator based in Washington, DC, and former loyal patron of Balmain, I am compelled to share my overwhelming disappointment with the lack of customer care from this esteemed fashion house. Balmain has emerged as a distinct brand under the creative genius of Olivier Rousteing; however, the service delivery experience is, unfortunately, as defective as the bag I received.

I expected a swift and customer-focused resolution after the company delivered a misshapen bag with missing/detached hardware. Despite my efforts to promptly follow up with photos, multiple phone calls, and emails to express my expectations for a satisfactory resolution, Balmain associates were unresponsive, unhelpful, and ineffective.

KEY ISSUES
1. Defective Product Without Immediate Resolution | Balmain sent a defective bag, which clearly indicates a quality control failure. A luxury brand should swiftly address such issues and, at a minimum, offer to send a replacement bag immediately while processing the return of the damaged item. Instead, Balmain insisted that my only option was to spend additional money to repurchase the bag and then wait for the customer service team to review, approve, and process my return request during an undisclosed amount of time.

2. Unacceptable Delay in Refund | Although Balmain confirmed receipt of the returned bag at their warehouse, my refund took two additional weeks to process. Associates repeatedly assured me the refund would be processed "by end of day" with a follow-up email confirmation. Neither promise was upheld, adding unnecessary frustration.

3. Ineffective Promotional Code | After weeks of ignored emails, I was finally offered a promotional code—an insulting gesture considering the circumstances. To make matters worse, the code could not be applied to the bag I wanted, rendering it completely useless as a remedy.

4. Lack of Leadership Accountability | I explicitly requested a formal response from senior leadership to address the specific concerns outlined in my complaint. To date, no such response has been provided, which further undermines confidence in the brand.

5. Condescending and Dismissive Staff | My interaction with Balmain’s team was marred by poor attitudes. Even emails included flippant responses to inform me that the decision is “final;” and “…this matter is closed;” and “No further requests will be escalated…” This type of communication is wholly inconsistent with the level of service delivery expected from a luxury brand.

WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED
Balmain had many opportunities to resolve this issue in a customer-focused manner. Any of the following actions would have demonstrated a commitment to quality and service:
• Immediately send a replacement bag while processing the return of the defective product
• Offer a functional promotional code that could be applied to my intended purchase
• Provide a thoughtful and formal response from senior leadership to comprehensively address my concerns

Unfortunately, none of these measures were taken, leaving me with a profound sense of disappointment.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF POOR SERVICE | OPPORTUNITY COST
Rather than taking steps to restore my confidence in the brand, Balmain chose an anti-customer approach, which further alienated me as a loyal patron. This decision was both foolish and ill-advised from a financial perspective. Instead of providing a one-time service remedy to secure future business after a glaring lapse in quality and customer care, Balmain remained inflexible and stood on the “letter of the law.” As a result, I have no choice but to terminate my relationship with the brand and will actively advise my clients, business partners, and network to avoid Balmain. This business model is not sustainable and will continue to put the integrity of the brand at risk.

A WORD TO FUTURE CUSTOMERS
Balmain’s disregard for quality and customer care stands in stark contrast to the elegance and sophistication of its designs. Luxury is more than aesthetics—it is an experience. Sadly, Balmain’s inability to provide even basic customer service has tarnished the allure of its name.

TO BALMAIN
Luxury is not just about the product—it is about the end-to-end customer experience. It is disappointing that such a storied brand has forgotten this principle.
I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for Balmain to reassess its service delivery and prioritize customer care.

Très très déçu du sav

Très très déçu du sav, casi inexistant
Pour une paire de basket a 1100€ , une pression de la tête de lion c'est détaché , demande de sav jusque là tout va bien... On n'est désolé on vous envoie un bon de retour ... Et la depuis au moins deux mois qu'ils ont les baskets et bin rien, on ne me les refera pas ni les échanger parce que c'est l'ancienne collection ... Et on ne me les redonne pas puisqu'elles ont un défaut ... Et le remboursement ? A ba non c'est pas nous ... J'ai oublié de dire qu'elle n'avait était mise que 2 fois 3 heures a peu près et acheter quelques mois avant donc comme neuve ... Je m'étais fait plaisir ( j'adore les baskets ) mew alors la c'est fini ...

Habe heute eine Schwimmshorts von…

Habe heute eine Schwimmshorts von Balmain zum 2 mal angehabt und war zum ersten Mal im Meer für 20-30 Minuten insgesamt über 5 Stunden. Bis meiner Frau aufgefallen ist, das sich die Schrift bereits ablöst auf der Shorts. Absolut Minderwertige Qualität und das in dieser Preisklasse!! Da bleib ich doch lieber bei Versace und Vilebrequin. Wenn man in der Preisklasse mitspielen will, dann muss man auch abliefern. Ist überall so im Leben. Also besser Finger weg. Hab dummerweise noch einen Pulli gekauft. Mal gespannt wann ich den beurteilen muss.

Very bad quality

I've bought bags and clothes for many years, and have always been satisfied.
I wanted to try your shampoo and conditioner, so bought a giftbox with just that for 105€.
Oh boy was i dissapointed, very poor quality, I get better results with L'Oréal that cost 8€ for shampoo and conditioner.
I feel ripped off and taken for a fool
You just lost a customer of many years.

Impossible to return unwanted item

Ordered item and wished to return, but there was no return label so I got in touch they sent the wrong label to me twice and I am running out of time to return the item as they only allow 14 days! I only want a correct return label so I can drop with DHL, but it seems like I am asking the impossible! :(
