I find the M&S banking app the best, it's intuitive which so many aren't. Balance transfer process is clear and simple. I don't normally leave reviews but credit where credits due.

Fiddly app, can’t pay card when your balance has “updated yet” (even by typing manual amount), direct debit hard to setup as has some outdated PDF form thing to fill Can’t see card number in the ap... Ver mais

Changing the ways you can pay and not making it obvious to the particular customer whether they're okay or not is at the best stupid.
My recent contact with M&S Credig Card Services resulted in a quick and easy transaction with all my questions answered. Thank you.
After encountering difficulties using my M&S card I was informed that a ‘Total block’ on contactless payments was in place once I have spent over £300 on my card consecutively (it was not explained whether this was in a week, a month or a year??) followed by my pin num being blocked also. If this is the case, why does it clearly state on the M&S Banking website: 'There is no limit on the number of contactless payments'
My M&S card has been declined on numerous occasions at the checkout in Marks & Spencer’s in Llandudno North Wales as well as in other retailers.
I have been left frustrated, angry and embarrassed with a queue of people behind me when my card has repeatedly been declined. I have then had to use another card to pay, which means that I have lost out on all the ‘Perks’ of using my M&S card, receiving double points etc as part of the M&S Rewards scheme.
Therefore , after 2 calls to M&S customer services (abroad) where I struggled to understand what they were saying, I asked to be transferred to the UK.
A customer service agent called Cara , based in Chester dealt with my complaint in a friendly and professional manner.
However, I am very disappointed with the actual service provided and have still decided to cancel my account with M&S
Awful experience. Terrible communication and impossible to get hold of. My payments appear to be delayed by them by 24rs. Its automatic so sort your systems out. Just another online company. Useless

M&S Bank have changed the way you can lay your credit card bill. I tried twice to pay direct from bank and on neither occasion did it work, requiring several phone calls to my bank and M&S Bank. Fault lies with M&S Bank. Customer service phone agents virtually unintelligible. I have attempted to close my account with M&S Bank by filling out the form they sent me online and submitting it. It submitted successfully but they claim they gave not received it. I have phoned to close my account and they informed me they would send a other form. As their forms do not appear to work, I told them to close my account immediately as I have a zero balance. Having been told they could do this, they then inform me that the account cannot be closed until I receive my next statement! I am not paying any more monthly fees. How to make an easy task difficult, ask M&S Bank.

Not happy by stopping through debit card payment for Mark's and Spencer credit card from 22nd April 2026.
I been using for long time suddenly I have received email from marks and spencer banking apps.

Quoted me an interest rate online, agreement came through and the APR was double what was quoted online. No mention anywhere on the email, I signed the agreement then noticed so got the loan cancelled. Absolute charlatans!!

You responded to my last message by requesting I contact your customer services. This I did and the person I spoke to told me I had to set up an app and then complete a form to get my credit limit reviewed.
So I have sent 3 letters which were unanswered and nobody wants to speak to me ! I am 72 do not use apps and just want a human with authority to speak to me. You have my contact details please use them.

It was very easy to check if I could be accepted for a credit card and also to apply for one. After a phone call with a pleasant person to check a few things acceptance was approved and the card was sent off quite quickly and have had an amazing experience through them

I have used the credit card for purchases then they balance transfers came along and they have been very helpful for cutting interest on other cards fantastic
