It was a real pleasure helping you choose your glasses, and I'm delighted to hear you're pleased with both the frames and the experience. Lucy and I put a lot of care into every pair we make, so it means a great deal when that effort is noticed.

I should probably defend poor Lucy here too 😄. While I may send most of the emails, she's usually the one keeping everything running behind the scenes and making sure the glasses actually make it out the door looking their best.

Angel, thank you for taking the time to write this, it really means a lot to Lucy and I.

I’m so glad the Mòr C has landed well with you. It’s one thing for us to make them, but hearing that they genuinely hit the mark when they arrive… that’s the part we care about most.

Appreciate you noticing the way we run things too. Keeping it direct and personal is a big part of why we do this the way we do.

And the Mòr E next… great choice. Looking forward to getting that into your hands.

Two years of daily wear is exactly what we design our frames for, so it’s great to hear they’ve been holding up well for you. And I’m glad we could get those rivets tightened and the frames freshened up quickly.

That “like new again” feeling after a repair is something Lucy and I really care about. These things should last, and a simple fix should keep them going for many more years.

Hearing that you’ve gone for both Linea and Mòr and found them comfortable for all-day wear is especially reassuring, as that’s something we think about constantly when designing.

Great to hear your thoughts on the lenses too. We completely understand sticking with what you know, but it’s good to know you can see the quality across the board.

And honestly, the fact you’re already thinking about a third pair… we won’t stop you.

A year is a long time to be watching from the sidelines, so it means a lot that when you finally took the plunge, the frames lived up to what you’d seen. That’s always the bit we care most about getting right.

Really glad you picked up on the small details too, like the packaging and note. Lucy and I put a lot of care into that side of things as it’s often your first real interaction with what we’ve made.

And you’re right, they’re not the cheapest option out there. But our aim has always been to make something that feels genuinely worth it when you have it in your hands and wear it every day.

When someone chooses our glasses, we see it as the start of a long relationship rather than a one-off purchase, so being able to re-rivet, re-polish and adjust your frames after 18 months of daily wear is exactly the kind of thing we hope to do for people.

I'm delighted to hear the adjustments have given you a more secure fit behind the ears and that your frames are back in action again.

John, 12 pairs… that’s serious commitment. Thank you!

It genuinely means a lot to Lucy and I that you’ve trusted us with your glasses for so many years. When someone keeps coming back, that’s the highest compliment we can get.

And yes, even after sitting on them, it was only right we fixed them. That’s what our lifetime repairs are there for. Glasses are meant to be worn, lived in, occasionally squashed… and then brought back to life.

We’ll take the Scottish comment as a compliment too 😉 The Calcutta cup is ours once again 🏉
