Long distance gift giving
My sister lives in New Zealand and I'm in the States. Batenburgs makes sending her something nice very easy. Lots of fabulous gift ideas or I can build something special from their wide variety of choices. Great quality and service.

Not sure why I'm being referred to as
"Hadlow"?
I placed an order for Devonport chocolates on 29th August, your cut off date for delivery for Fathers Day.
I've received notification the parcel was delivered to his Auckland central city address (ie Orakei) today.
This is ludicrous to take a week from Hinemoa Street to Paritai Drive (?).
This has happened earlier in June where it took the same blown out time.
Your organisation needs to urgently review the delivery company system. It's unacceptable and from my part very embarrassing.
I would like a full refund.

Everything worked like clockwork, delivery exactly as promised, I added a few extra boxes late was no problem. The recipients were all very praiseworthy as to what was in the boxes, I had to admit I never saw one before dispatch or when ordering. Not even totally sure what was in them to be frank. But it was obviously good. Reliable team, good quality, will use them again

Dishonest
Despite saying on the website that if they were unable to provide an item they would provide an item of same or higher value, they substituted a bottle of champagne for one half the price. I only found out about this because my friend happened to send me a picture of the gift. When I emailed them about it they said they had emailed me, which was a lie (having checked my junk mail). They then sent further small bottles of champagne to make up for it. Pretty dishonest and unlikely to use them again.
