Misleading availability on website.
Turned out that the item I ordered was not in stock and had been discontinued by the manufacturer, despite it being shown on the B & B website and available to order. Will be happier when I have the refund in my account.

Hi Brian, We notified you straight away of this item not being in stock and in turn being discontinued with the supplier and apologised for any inconvenience caused. We then offered if you would rather have an alternative or a refund.
Over a week later, you responded to us saying that a refund would be suitable which we processed right away for you and will be with you within 2 working days. I'm not sure how else it could have been dealt with more efficiently. Our systems do have the odd occasion as items showing in stock when they might not be due to stock update. Usually we can have a swift delivery from our supplier but on this occasion it was very recently discontinued.
As spoken in email with you, we are aware you accept this process but we feel the need to respond to the review to explain your points.

Having ordered a shower screen the shower door seal was missing. Explained what had happened and the company has been amazing.

Hi David, apologies about this. It is due to a couple of factors with our courier service getting to your location in Northern Ireland from our depot in Scotland. The storm hasn’t helped matters either, I have checked and this parcel is scheduled to be with you on Friday. Sincerely apologise again for the delay but it was outwith our control.
