Ich verstehe zwar die ganzen Erklärungen von Baum, von wegen wir sind nur ein kleines Team usw… Scheinbar läuft aber das Marketing auf Hochtouren und mit sehr viel Aufwand. Und das macht Baum in meinen Augen unglaubwürdig. Ich habe schon zweimal eine Wingman bestellt, die als in Stock angegeben war und auch der zeitnahe Versand auf der Webseite stand. Jedesmal wurde die eigentliche Lieferzeit sehr deutlich überschritten und auf Nachfrage bekam ich unglaubwürdige Antworten. Beispielweise, dass meine Gitarre zufällig gerade heute in der Überprüfung ist und unmittelbar danach versandt wird. Oder dass die Gitarren eingetroffen sind und in den nächsten Tagen nach der Überprüfung raus gehen, worauf wieder 12 Tage nichts passiert ist. Es wird permanent mit Rabatten (Winterrabatt bis Ende 2025) oder Preiserhöhngen in 2026 angekündigt, Preisdeadlines usw.. was dann nicht einmal bisher eingehalten wurde und eigentlich die ganze Zeit rabattierte Gitarren im Netz stehen. Das wirkt auf mich extrem unseriös und unglaubhaft, hat etwas von unzähligen Matrazenshops, die permanent mit Geschäftsaufgabe und sonstigen Rabatten werben, was eigentlich nie stimmt, weshalb ich dann die Bestellung storniert habe. Die Rückzahlung dauerte 6 Tage, was ok ist. Aber alles in allem fehlt mir das Vertrauen zu Baum, da die Angaben und Marketing letztendlich nicht das versprechen was Baum gerne darstellt und kommuniziert. Letztendlich finanzieren die ihre Gitarren über den Consumer vor, ansonsten gäbe es keine Lieferzeiten von zich Wochen bis Monaten. Letzte Woche konnte ich dann eine Wingman aus 2023 spielen und mein Entschluss stand fest, Baum muss es absolut nicht sein. Die Gitarre ist nicht schlecht, aber das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt für mich nicht wirklich. unabhängig von den Gitarren selbst geht aber hautsächlich die Philosophie und das Geschäftsgebaren von Baum absolut nicht in Ordnung.

Very friendly communication. Guitar looks as expected. Packaging was beyond beyond expectations (no scratches, no broken neck) everything fine. Guitar was ready to play. Sound and appearance are gorgeous. I love this 3/3 head-stock and the SG-like appearance. The 45 days trial-period is a good opportunity for guitars you can't play before purchasing them.

I decided to buy a Baum Celestor because of the quality I expected for the price. This expectation was created through the Baum website and the reviews I saw on YouTube. When I ordered it, there wasn't a guitar available for delivery; I had to wait for it to be built, and I really appreciated the information I received by email regarding the estimated delivery date. After receiving the Celestor, my first impression was very good, due to the build quality and good setup. After 9 months of playing, I can highlight how good the neck is!!! If I had to use just one word: "comfort." It is very enjoyable to play.

I got the Vega Wingman in Inca Gold. For a reasonably priced guitar it is really well made. It feels great and is a lot of fun to play.

Although I ended up buying the guitar from a dealer (I was looking for an older model with a slightly different design), customer support from Baum was great and they even checked if they had one of the older models in stock for me.

I would definitely recommend a Baum guitar as an alternative to something like a Fender or a Gibson.

I was more than happy with my buying experience. The crew has been great and happy to answer any questions and give any updates during the pre-shipping period. I'm talking about elaborate replies, not just something generic.
The guitar (Leaper Tone) came with some extra goodies and certificate, and it was ready to play after tuning it.
I have it for 3 months now, and it's still my favourite guitar. It fits my playing style and it's so versatile. I've never tried it before, I was simply relying on the technical description on Baum web page. Believe me, they were not wrong :)

Once my guitar was paid, it took just a few days before I got it. It travels from Norway to Canada without any problem. And when this mastepiece finally reached its new home, I was astonished. It was greater than I thought. The look of my new Wingman was truly amazing. It is as elegant as a Steinway grand piano. And not only this guitar is fine art in itself, the touch, the sound and the versatility adds to this magnificent design and finish. I play death metal, stoner rock, black metal, blues and progressive and it fits to all thise music style. The pick ups are amazingly versatile. One passes from clear tones to textured and abasive sound without any problem. It has the quality of the most expensive Fender guitar with the engineering of a Music Man. This company worth being known by guitar lovers and pro. I have 17 guitars and it is by far my favourite. Since I bought it, I almost stopped playing with my other ones. This is truly a perfect instrument!

My first Baum was a Wingman and I liked it so much that I couldn't resist to expand my collection with a Revolt. Both guitars sound great, look awesome and were perfectly set-up when they arrived. Since then, the Baum-virus took me even more and my most recent addition to my Baum collection is a deep black Wingman Bass with gold hardware, the most prettiest bass I've seen. All three play very smooth and I love them!

I love my Baum Revolt. I was looking for something a bit different to what I already had, and the Revolt fits that gap perfectly. It's great to play, sounds fantastic and looks beautiful. The service from Baum was also exceptional. If you're thinking about a Baum, just do it.

It takes a bit of trust to order a guitar online. One you have never touched or seen in real life.
However, the quality of the guitars is great and completely lives up to the promise on the website.

The process of ordering, waiting, and recieving the order is smooth and I felt well-informed all the way.

I have purchased two guitars within a few years, and can highly recommend Baum

My two basses, of which I only ordered one, are really great. I have four total and play these two 75% of the time. They are well made and have great tone.

I was sent the wrong bass originally and asked to find a different buyer for it. That’s pretty ignorant to ask when the mistake was not mine. I purchased the second bass and I am glad I did.

I perform with the Nidhogg mostly because that was the one I started practicing with and took that one to the performance site, which is where is stays. I like that it is very light and well made. The Wingman I don’t really have any thoughts about it other than it’s a great player, is very similar to the Nidhogg in terms of feel and looks great. My other two basses are a Fender Meteora and a Hagstrom Viking. I go off the beaten path which led me to Baum.

I’ve only had one small issue with either of them which was the plug nut was coming loose. I tightening it back up and it’s been fine.

My bass at home, which stays in the same room the entire time stays close to in room all the time. The one I perform with stays in my office and when I move it to the stage area it does shift tune a little, but it’s also different humidity there. One settled there it’s great.

My current issues with Baum: you’ve consistently sold out of bass cases minus the ten year anniversary case. It’s already expensive enough to want to celebrate a company I’ve only known about for less than a year. I want to buy two but they’re never in stock. I would also like to get some Baum merch like a hoodie or hat. The hoodie is $100 whereas Fender and Gibson hoodies could be had for $40 or less. With the tarriffs can you get a U.S. merchandiser to make some and sell them? If you want that word of mouth marketing that I’m willing to pay for, expand your merch a little and get a U.S. vendor to make the price more reasonable. That cost is more like a winter coat.

Extremely pleased with my Baum Nidhogg bass guitar. It's probably the easiest bass to play I've ever owned and it's nice and light. The sound is quite rocky but also plays a good funky slap. Setup was excellent and it came with a very nice hard case. The only slight downside was that I first ordered it in February 2025 for delivery in June and it eventually arrived in October, however it was definitely worth waiting for.

I always had answers to my questions.
People at Baum are real humans who really care about giving people the best experience possible.

And on the other side, my Wingman has become my favorite guitar.

It was a long journey from order in March 2025 respectively in my case from the moment, my family told me about the gift they made to me, a great grey Celestor from Baum (DK) till I got it in October 2025 but it was worth it to wait.
This Guitar is so great in sound and handling and of course in look and quality how it is setup and built.

Long delivery time was pronounced from the very first beginning; and during the waiting time, Baum informed about the progress of production within a global status note on their web page.

I recently splashed out on a Wingman bass. The setup and playability were spot on for me, straight out of the box. Built quality is superb and it has a wide range of tones, definitely a keeper!

After a year of owning a Baum guitar - Wingman, I’m still amazed by the results. It wasn’t bad at first, but over time this guitar has pushed me to play more expressively, really refining my dynamics. Honestly, it has made me a better player. Every day, I’m more convinced it was the perfect fit for me. It has bite, smoothness, and everything in between.

I was nervous about this guitar being B stock and having it shipped from overseas. The packaging was great and it arrived safe. Whatever made this guitar B stock was not obvious in any way. Craftmanship is excellent. This things looks super cool. And it sounds just as I was hoping - in between by Jazzmaster and my LP Junior. It's got a nice full tone, but also has a nice punch. And I love the feel of the neck. I would recommend this guitar and I'm already looking at other Baum models.

Baum makes it extremely easy to order, track where your guitar is in the build process and shipping. Baum has the best payment plan, making buying and owning a great quality guitar, the best above any other manufacturer/brand. So much so, I have ordered twice for two different guitars(Carve-Vega and a Celestor). Planning on one of the gorgeous Acoustic guitars.

I purchased the Nidhogg 10th Anniversary bass by Baum. It's a beautiful well made guitar. I use the bass exclusively in my studio and can achieve a wide variety of tones. I particularly was impressed by Baum, their story, and their commitment to producing an instrument with great attention to detail and playability. Let's face it. It takes a lot of patience to pre-order a guitar and have to wait for it to be built and then shipped to me in the United States. Trust me, the wait is worth it. The company struggled a bit with production delays but provided great communication in general and always were quick to respond to my inquiries regarding my order. Looks like a bright future for Baum.
