I was unable to post my free ad after…
I was unable to post my free ad after subscribing. I have followed BAeN for many years and enjoyed it. Since it changed hands...it is not user friendly . Very difficult to post anything. It always takes me to a payment page when I have already paid to subscribe and wont post my free ad. I want my money back. No longer interested in supporting this site.

I used to love BAEN but….
I used to love BAEN. But the site has changed. It has a non-friendly/confusing interface on smartphone.
Also, I haven’t had any responses/contacts from my Ads.

It seems like the site doesn’t get a whole lot of traffic. We appreciate everything but Facebook has been much more affective. Really hard to spend $50 when the clicks are almost zero :-/

A great website on my first visit!
On my first visit to your website, I found a beautiful article getting to know horses and what they like don’t like and do they like to be ridden. I had just googled for information on the purpose of horses from the point of view of creation by the Lord Jesus Christ.
And the very first topic that came up was about horses, do they like to be ridden and the differences of creation, domesticated versus domesticated, and what to look for a horse if it likes or doesn’t like something, I found your article especially on point for my sake as a lay person, because I have watched horses and movies, and other places and ridden when I was younger at a camp but never had enough experience getting to know any horse. They have to be the most exquisitely designed and beautiful of all of God‘s creations on this earth. My heart trembles when I think of horses and any animal that is abused for any reason on this earth, that’s not the way to respect and love this beautiful creature. Thank you Dr. Baen for your insightful comments and compassion. I shall remember the site as a trigger point that led me to find considerate and sensitive thoughts about these beautiful creatures from you. Thank you so very much for taking the time for whatever I’ve read so far and I will be back to check out other articles . I am a member of HSUS and they sent me a notification a couple times already about the soring that some people do on horses for personal gain and greed. I always send a note to my political sites including President Biden to please sign the bill that’s before the senate again to make it become a law, and there should be very stiff penalties for injuring any animal with this type of treatment of soring. Love you all and thank you for everything and for treating your horses beautifully. 💖💕 dianna.

Overwhelmed with advertisement. I don’t recall using this in the past why it is so difficult to navigate now . For what it’s worth I’ve asked other people that have used the website in the past, and I am not the only one.

Hi Michael, thank you for your honest review. We do rely on ad revenue from the classified and other sources to be able to run our site and keep our business going.
Not User Friendly and Rarely works for updates
As I detailed in my email to you, that you have not yet responded to, You emailed me that my account had not been paid, when in fact, it had been paid.
The new site is extremely difficult to maneuver, I much preferred the previous/old site. Too difficult to get to business listings, etc.
The System has NOT been working for days! I am unable to update my listings, says there is a system error and to check back.
The list goes on.

Reliable And Helpful
BAEN is definitely a reliable and helpful resource for the Bay Area horse community! I believe it pioneered the idea of having an online site for equestrians. I recently posted a horse for sale and have good success in prospective buyers reaching out to me!

Your platform does not allow search by region and you offer advertising when becoming a member but there is no coast way to take advantage of those options.

It's fairly easy to post items for sale. But I have yet to find out how to edit and item I've already posted. I'm glad that the ad stays up for a while because I have had no nibbles yet for my items.

Hi Marjorie - Thanks for the feedback. We always encourage our community to review the statistics on their ads to see how you might improve its performance. Over the last 30 days, your two ads have been viewed more than 150 times (with your horse boarding ad having the lion's share of that). Perhaps updating your photos, creating a special incentive or using different text could help get more responses. We're always happy to help with other ideas as well!

Scammer. Useless. Does not respond to you. Site took money for the subscription offering free photo link, or video, with individual membership benefits, none of which happened. ....Will not help or respond to you either. I had used the free site before and then decided to upgrade.

It appears the issue here is fairly simple: you created your membership on December 29th, 2023 - a time during the holiday season when our staff were working limited hours. And, as such we were a bit delayed in our response to your inquiries.
We contacted you immediately when we noticed there was a problem. We have provided you with the code for the free listing with your membership, and we've offered other means of support to you since you posted this review.
