Beaver Soil ‘N’ Mulch Limited Opiniões 1858

After waiting two weeks for a “next working day delivery”, I rang to cancel the order. Person on the call assured me they would cancel the order “manually” and return my money. Two days later it got delivered anyway. You can’t plan anything with their promises.

I am still waiting for delivery after over a month. Have been unable to communicate with the company either by phone or email. Left to conclude the company is no longer functioning.

Zero stars. I spent £235 on compost in May and I’ve never seen my order. It’s now July.
This company was collecting money knowing that it couldn’t fulfil orders. I wish I’d read the reviews first but they had a very professional web site and I was fooled into thinking that they were an honest company.

To start I should say that the horse manure that I received was excellent quality, well rotted and suitable for putting straight around my roses.

However the systems the company have in place to process orders is dismal. They kept giving me different delivery dates for when to expect my order. This was very inconvenient because I had to organise my life around these dates and wait indoors ready to receive delivery.

When I tried to phone and speak to someone who could give me information I had to wait over and hour to get through. The lady on the phone was helpful but obviously overwhelmed with calls and needed backup. I felt sorry for her. What an awful job?

When eventually my order did arrive it was the standard, run of the mill, one ton bag and not the extra large bag that I had ordered and paid for.

I tried to contact the Company to complain and ask for the missing horse manure or a cash refund but failed to get any response.
Eventually I decided that I could spend no more time chasing this company and regarded them as “Scammers”.

Such a shame because the product was excellent!

Perhaps this review will spur someone to do something to improve matters which I sincerely hope is the case.

The service was very poor, I ordered 3 bags of gold blend peat free soil on a next day delivery and paid a expensive delivery charge, the delivery took 8 days I phoned several times and was put on hold, no one got back to me to let me know when i would receive it When it did arrive. I Emailed to get a re fund on the delivery charge i still haven't received any response. And the soil was not gold blend, there was lots of large stones and glass we at to sive the 3 bags very poor quality?

Very little contact, when you try to call no one answers. Promised delivery 3-4 working days, arrived 3 weeks late. Avoid.

Took an age to get the soil, but once it arrived it was very good quality. Clearly they are struggling with staff absenteeism, but those I git through too were very helpful.

Placed an order for Beaver compost on 19 April, payed £122.39, was told i would recieve it in 1 wk time. A month later had not got anything, so asked for a refund end of May and was told it was going to be processed, a week later called again, told to wait. I am writing on 3 Jully 2022, no refund yet.

Very poor communication, so hard to get hold of them. I actually thought they'd gone out of business. Then suddenly I was told it was coming tomorrow. I'd ordered some compost for a customer previously and it was really good. Mine wasn't so good and I'm not sure it was fully composted .

I was very pleased to find Beaver compost as they had a huge choice of products with a great description of each which made choosing very easy. I liked the extra large size bags as I was filling a very large poly tunnel for a ‘no dig’ project. The delivery was about 8 days later which was great. The vegetable compost and the black and gold were both fantastic and I mixed them up, I also ordered rotted wood chip which I was also very happy with. I would def recommend and order again

I have received a total of 6 large bags of mulch. The product and service has been excellent. I would highly reccomend Beaver Soil

Very poor service and customer care. I had to get my bank involved to get my promised refund.

This was a repeat of a previous order, what was supplied was completely different from the previous and although I ordered the same volume a much smaller bag was supplied this time.

Ordered and waited for delivery of compost but never came no email nothing.finally got through to them on the phone they gave me a delivery date.i booked the day off work and it never came.had to get my money back from PayPal.avoid avoid avoid.

I placed the order and waited for delivery but heard nothing for over a week. I had to call up to ask when it would be delivered, was asked which day I would like?! So it had not even been set up to come out! My delivery did come on the day I booked but I didn't get and messages to say a time (which I was advised I would get). Goods were ok but shopping experience was poor.

Compost was good but unfortunately i paid for next delivery turned up a week and half late

Do not buy from this company !! I ordered one tonne of top dressing 70/30.p in March. It arrived 3 weeks later full of stones, bits of wood and shells. After many days of trying to speak to someone to complain they said that this was from the bucket that loaded it !! They offfered a £15 refund which, nearly 4 months later I have yet to receive. I have been unable to contact them via phone or get any reply via email. Have they gone bust ?? I hope so because they are worst company I have ever dealt with. They are an absolute disgrace. Shameful !!

Delivered on the wrong day. Customer service was appalling. It took 30 minutes to get through on the telephone every time and I was told they couldn’t phone me back because it is difficult to get an outside telephone line. Didn’t respond to emails asking for help. I will NEVER buy from them again. The soil was poor quality too and had large stones and half bricks in it.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Never received the goods, had to get a refund from my bank.
