Don't do business with them. Over 22 Weeks and Still No Delivery.
We contracted CMG International Moving (and they hired subcontractors, Schmidt Global Relocations in Germany and Bekins World Wide Moving in Canada), for our household goods shipment from Berlin, Germany to Calgary, Canada. The contract specified an estimated transit time of 10–16 weeks.
As of today, June 9th, it has been over 22 weeks since our items were picked up (January 7, 2026) and they have still not been delivered and also not given me any date for when it will be delivered. This is a severe failure to meet even the furthest end of the estimated timeline.
The service has been marked by poor communication and significant delays throughout the process:
* **Initial Delay:** On the day of pickup (January 7), the crew was scheduled between 10am and 2pm but did not arrive until after 3pm.
* **Transit and Final Delivery:** The estimated arrival at the port was April 18, 2026. We were informed in early March that the 10–16 week window was an estimate, not a guarantee. However, the reality of over 22 weeks is unacceptable.
* **Local Delivery Failure:** On June 2, we confirmed the shipment had been cleared through Canadian customs for over 10 days, yet there was still no confirmed delivery date or schedule available. We were told the shipment was in the "truck consolidation stage," which typically takes 1 to 4 weeks, but this lack of scheduling after customs clearance has created extreme frustration.
The complete lack of timeline management and inability to provide a delivery date after nearly half a year of waiting demonstrates an absolute failure in service. We deeply regret ever choosing this company and its partners for our international relocation. We advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere.
