Working with the magazine staff (Lisa Lelas and Catherine Kiernan) was a treat. We were glad to share our story with a community that's been so good to us.

My husband, Rich and I had a fun experience when we told the story of how we met and married. Ellen O'Dwyer and Rich Salls came to our home and we spent about an hour telling them our happy story. Rich took some pictures and off they went. We waited a few weeks in anticipation of the article and when it came out, we were excited. AH friends told us they loved reading the story and our family was so surprised. We collected a few magazines from neighbors and gave our families copies to keep. Our article mentioned many businesses on First Ave. I found out most businesses don't get a copy of the magazine in the monthly mailing and when I've told them about it, they all wished they received the magazine each month. I would suggest putting businesses on the mailing list.

BVM was great to work with. Asked lot of Good questions and put together a great summary of how we ended up in Mahogany.

I also met the sales team and they do have a great ad complain for expert professionals in the area. Great way to get some visibility. The also use geotagging.

First, it was an honor to be selected for this magazine. Our family is very grateful. All of the folks that worked with us (writer/interviewer, and photographer) were fantastic! We have had a lot of positive feedback from people in our community.

Tim and Lisa did a great story about my wife and I and our journey in marriage and in Indiana Spirit of '45. It was great working with Tim and Lisa and we love the magazine!

The entire process from the first contact with Alison and then Becky and Brandi was amazing.

They were all so kind!!

The only thing I wish I would have received a few extra copies as I have family asking for copies.

Great experience talking with them and sharing our story. They were very interested and gave us an opportunity to share our good memories with our family.

It was a very easy process from start to finish. Connie was very helpful and had great communication. The photographer was also great to work with. Very easy going and friendly. Overall a fun experience for our family.

Your app is absolutely terrible! It discounts constantly and then requires you to watch 5 minutes of ads. Avoid at all costs!!

This is about their hiring process specifically, but it makes the rest of the company look really scummy.

I really would be appreciated if any of the contact was more upfront about the fact that it was a commission role, and I didn't have to find that out myself. How much it would've sucked if that happened after I had already accepted the job.

On the interview, after saying hi, they asked about me and I answered. I asked them about the role. If it was a commissioned role, and if there was a wait between working and getting paid as long as 4 months as I had read some people say online. And as soon as they knew that I had read any of the employee reviews and knew what the role was, that it was an independent contractor. They ended the call very quickly.

Nothing on my resume in the first place indicated that I should work in sales. I don't think any of the people who reviewed my resume know anything about what I do.
They really don't care at all if you're suited for the role. There's zero cost to them if you fail and waste 2-4 months of your life, so they just contact you anyways and hide the fact about how little they respect, trust or are investing in you when they send you the interview or offer.

And everyone there knows that what they're doing is scummy so that as soon as they know that you know anything about what the position actually is they stop talking to you. They don't seem disappointed at all, they know it too. Just on to the next guy who knows nothing about the company and role and hopefully by the time he learns it's too late.

I received several calls and texts concerning the items I had for sale, so I'm pleased that the community magazine gets a lot of visibility. My items haven't sold yet, but at least people know that they are available.

Meeka Cook responded quickly. She provided me what The guidelines were and a deadline. Once I submitted it. She advised me that it was good.
