Fabulous and knowledgeable

Fabulous and knowledgeable! Baker saw Dr. Ann Sidley and her technician and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Doctor Sidley had more knowledge than my regular vet and I could tell she truly cared as she assessed Baker's health. Both were tender and patient with my old guy; I couldn't have asked for more. 10 Stars.

Dr. Tucker and Sam were great!

I can't say enough good things about this service. I was able to schedule a same day home visit for my 17 year old cat who had a bad ear infection. Dr. Tucker and Sam were kind, professional, caring, and wonderful with my cat, who doesn't like many people, especially strangers who want to handle her. They used various techniques to keep her still and safe in order to perform a full examination and provide appropriate assent and treatment. Their instructions to me were clear and concise. During the course of their examination they found another problem that I was not aware of and addressed it immediately. The day after the visit Sam sent me a an email with a comprehensive summary of all care provided during their visit as well as results of the cytology studies and detailed instructions for home care. I have already referred this team to two other cat owners I know who are in need of a mobile Vet service. So pleasantly surprised, and glad I found this service. Will definitely be using them in the

BetterVet is the very best

BetterVet is the very best. Not only convenient especially when you don’t have a car but such friendly high caliber service. The dr and assistant were wonderful. Gentle and kind answering any concerns I might have. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!Thank from me and Coco😁🐶❤️❤️

Bettervet not a good match

I opted for a mobile vet knowing the cost is 2-3 times the cost of a local office visit because I thought it would be less stressful for my pets. I have a 12 yo husky who Is starting to have hip problems. She loves people, is gentle with children. And has a sweet disposition.

Dr y and her assistant could not provide services because my dog was anxious around them. Even with trazodone and a muzzle they couldn't draw blood

The first visit I got flea treatment for both pets. For my husky I got ear medication, cleaner, 30 trazodone, 10 rimadyl for about $800.

Second visit I had to sedate my dog. When the team arrived i had to muzzle her. The assistant tried to pick her up and then laid on her Dr y was not able to draw blood. This cost $178 even though no services were rendered. Dr y told me we aren't a good match. We need a clinic where our dog can be rendered unconscious.

I agree they're not a good match. I was surprised to learn what a pet friendly visit means. Your pet must be docile or they leave . I believe the 5 minutes it took to scare my sweet husky was the most profitable.

We’ll look for a local independent vet.

Please know that at BetterVet, we prioritize Fear Free approaches to ensure that our furry patients feel safe and comfortable during their visits. This not only benefits their well-being, but also the safety of our team and your beloved pup. We are sorry that the oral sedatives were not successful in calming your pup and we want to assure you that we have your pup's best interest at heart. In order to thoroughly examine and treat your pup, we do suggest injectable sedation. However, we do not currently offer this service.

We understand that our prices may be higher compared to traditional clinics, but this is because we have our staff come to you and provide medications in the convenience of your home. We want to assure you that the charges for your recent visit were for the travel fee to your home and the follow-up fee for the time spent attempting to examine your pup. We apologize if this was not clearly communicated to you and we always strive to provide transparent pricing.

Everything was perfect

Everything was perfect. I was nervous about my cat being seen by vets because he is a rescue from the streets and he can be aggressive and has anxiety. They were so kind and held him in such a perfect way they only his head was accessible. He growled the entire visit but he let the vet check him out and listen to his heart and lungs and even was ok for the shot he eventually needed. I was very happy with how good he was and how professional the vets were. Having a home visit allowed me not to have to push him into a cat carrier which would have been traumatic for him, being in a clinic with all the other animals and smells would have also been traumatic for him. He could run off into his own space when the visit was over and it lessened how much he had to go through. I will absolutely use this service again, not just for the convenience but for the peace of mind it had for my cat and me.

Great exp

My husky malamute suddenly had difficulty with his bag legs and I could not get him into the car to take him to the vet. I was able to get a quick televisit. The vet was very kind and thorough. He watched him walk and talked me through a plan to get his inflammation down which is working. Very kind and very thorough

Personal Service and Compassionate Care

BetterVet provided professional care for my older cat and handled her effectively, and provided a non-threatening experience for Emma. They performed a wellness exam and assessed her health through a blood test. The results came very quickly and my cat should respond well to the protocol. This service is indispensable and I recommend it very highly!

DVM Scott Perry has provided well measured advising again and again. Our adopted field retriever has met with very favorable outcomes following careful oversight well informed with Dr Perry's counsel. When engaging with BetterVet's tele-health, we line up appointments with Dr Perry's availability.

Whenever in search of proven efficacy further afield of our local vet care, a sounding with Dr Perry is our primary m.o.

The fact that a Dr and Vet Assistant…

The fact that a Dr and Vet Assistant came to the house to care for my senior dog, was an Awesome experience, just as thorough as an office visit but in your home. i have been telling every pet owner i know about Bettervet, I highly recommend.

Dr. Keyes

Dr. Keyes and the vet tech assistant were great with my cat, Luna. Prior to the visit, there was communication to set expectations of their arrival which helped me plan for my day. I did not sit in the room with them when they examined Luna but I barely heard a peep from her and heard them being so kind to her which was very reassuring.

The two ladies were very nice and…

The two ladies were very nice and arrived early. But the exam took like 2 mins. Not worth the money.

Amazing service for my feral rescue.

I have a rescue feral cat that is very fearful and does not like to be approached or picked up so getting him to a vets office is nearly impossible. Having the vet come to my home to give him vaccines and his general annual check up is a tremendous help and likely the only way I would be able to get him the care he needs regularly. The doctor and technician are great and have been able to wrap him in a blanket to administer his care and exam. I love that they provide this in home service and they are so good at their work. They really care about our pets and do amazing work even with the tougher patients!
