Very disappointing experience.
I had a viewing scheduled at 12:00 PM with Amber, but she arrived more than an hour late without proper notice. This showed a lack of professionalism and respect for my time. Unfortunately, the experience did not feel serious or reliable. I would not recommend based on this interaction.

Disgraceful and unprofessional behavior from Ejari team

I paid for an added service when I was signing my contract for a rental property to get Ejari done by Betterhomes. The agent told me very clearly and in WRITTEN TEXT that it also includes any renewal/cancellation as well.

Betterhome's Ejari team refused three times to honor the words of their agent when I was about to cancel my Ejari, even though they are legally bound to do so, claiming the service only included the initial opening of Ejari.

After consulting my lawyer and directly threatening Betterhomes to take LEGAL action, they eventually decided to let another agent cancel it on my behalf for free.

Evenmore shockingly is the fact that Betterhomes was still apologizing on behalf of the agent in their final mail, instead of on behalf of the disgraceful behaviour from their Ejari team, who should have solved their mess already from the beginning.

I understand that you can cancel Ejari by yourself for free, but for me this was a matter of a major company holding their words and not behaving in such a childish and unprofessional way.

My question for Betterhomes management is the following:

Is this really how one of the biggest real estate companies behaves towards its tenants?

Shouldn't you, as a respectful company, have honored your agent's words immediately without going head-to-head and toe-to-toe with your own tenant?

Shouldn't this have been solved even as goodwill from Betterhomes towards their tenant, since there is SOLID and LEGALLY binding proof?

I hope someone in the management of Betterhomes would take a closer look at this nonsense, since its definitly not a company I will be coming back to.

Without doubt

Without doubt, Better Homes is one of the best ones. Since 2018, I am with them. There never was an occasion where I had something to complain about; on the contrary, there were many instances which showed their professionalism. You have a concern, their staff are there at a phone-call/email/message distance to reach out and help. They have a very good maintenance team to attend your repairs and maintenance needs. Compared to my last place where I stayed for 3 years, which is just accross the street, Better Homes' maintenance team is super efficient. You write your complaint in the reception register, within hardly one day their technician will appear at your doorstep. Even when parking shortage was at its nightmarish worst, I didn't think of leaving this place because of Better Homes' quality and services they provide to their tenants.

Very disappointing experience.
Based on my own interactions, I found that the agent, Joseph Kavanagh, was not professional. He missed scheduled appointments without notifying me in advance, did not greet me on the day of the sale, and did not reply to my emails. I also contacted his supervisors about these issues, but unfortunately received no response.

Overall, the agency did not feel serious or professional in my experience. I do not recommend it.
