I purchased Turbotax Deluxe 2024 with State desktop software on 3/22/25. All Turbotax license codes are supposed to be good for up to 5 devices using the same Intuit account.

On 12/29/25 I installed the same Turbotax 2024 software on a new PC using the same Intuit account. When I tried to activate the software I received Error Code 605.

I called Intuit and gave them the license code. They told me the code was canceled because the same code was being used by someone else with a different email address! Intuit told me that BigHomeTax is not an authorized retailer and advised me to buy Turbotax from authorized retailers ONLY in future. They advised me to use a search engine to find a list of authorized Turbotax retailers. Intuit said unauthorized retailers often resell Turbotax license codes to other people! In other words they steal back your license code and sell it to someone else! Fortunately, Intuit gave me a new license code.

My advice is to avoid buying Turbotax from unauthorized retailers because they may ressell your license code after your purchase.

The price was good, and the TurboTax software worked for a few weeks. But I extended my taxes using TurboTax, and when I went to file them later, TurboTax said my license key was invalid (TurboTax 605 error). I contacted Big Home Tax, and after some back and forth texting, they sent me a new license key, which worked once. But then I still needed some additional forms, which I had to wait for.
When I finally went to file my taxes, my TurboTax license key was invalid again (same 605 error). But this second time, Big Home Tax support was completely unresponsive. I had to buy the same software again on Amazon, my second purchase of TurboTax 2024 Home and Business software.

They do it cheaply by selling the same license to multiple customers, invalidating the license key they sold you a few weeks ago. Their satisfied customers were lucky enough to finish their taxes before Big Home Tax resold their license to someone else and invalidated it.

If you don't mind renting software with no chance to use it again later, than Big Home Tax might work for you. But if you ever need to amend your taxes, or if you file an extension and need to finish them later, you will have to buy the software again.

They are scammers. Buyer beware.

I purchased TurboTax and the activation number did not work. I communicated with Big Home Tax continuously for a month with NO success. Just one delay after another. They claimed to be an authorized vendor for TurboTax. FALSE! I talked to TurboTax and they are very familiar with Big Home and confirmed they are NOT an authorized vendor. Do not purchase software from this outfit.

2nd year if purchasing from Big Home Tax. Best pricing I've found, easy to purchase, easy to install & can use software immediately.

I paid for purchasing TURBOTAX and then I discovered that the license key they provided simply did not work. They kept saying that they will resolve the issue but did not resolve anything. They are a SCAM site, you must avoid them.

I downloaded the software after paying for it but the license key they included was not valid. I went to their product support and told them the problem. They asked for a screenshot of the problem and the Order Number. I sent both multiple times answering multiple IDENTICAL requests. It sounded more like a delaying tactic than technical support. Finally, I was fed up. I told them that I was not impressed with their responses and that I would go elsewhere and removed all TurboTax 2025 downloads from my system. Five hours later I get a text message from them containing a valid license key. It looks like a scam, smells like a scam but the final result was that five hours later they coughed up a valid key which allowed me to activate TurboTax. Thus the two star (rather than one star) rating. If you are willing to put up with their nonsense, good luck you get an A grade for patience and tolerance. By using them, they saved me about $10.00 over the price at Amazon for the same product. NOT worth it! Personally, I will not be using them ever again.

I have made many more attempts, receive same stalling message. This cycle began November 2025. Still no help.
Update: After contacting Intuit, License was cancelled due to an additional email attached to the license. Not my email. appears Bighometax cancelled the license.
It is a scam Do Not Use.

I have used BHT for a couple of years with no issues until I went to look at my 2024 tax returns and transfer to my new computer. All of a sudden the return was there but the software was gone so I can't open it. My codes came up invalid. I'm in the process of trying to get the issue resolved thru their text number. Crossing my fingers it gets resolved. I really don't want to have to re-buy 2024 TT Deluxe and 2024 Business!

Turbotax software 2024 stopped working several months after purchase. Not an authorized distributor, so Intuit deactivated the activation codes.

I purchased a business license and 3 months later it stopped working. Contacted TurboTax and they told me the key was revoked by the vendor or due to fraud. I contacted BigHomeTax and they will not resolve it.

Google them and you will see that this is a common scenario.

Big Home Tax appears to be closed for the last 5 days leading up to the final filing date.

Cleared schedule to do taxes this 3 day weekend, so now must purchase TurboTax AGAIN.

The order advertised 10% off but charged the regular price.. and 15% off future order.. ripped on the discounts also..

One positive is that their website is still up and there's an active recording on their answering machine saying they only accept SMS communication, whereas the email confirmation says

I provided all info by text including screenshots of the issue and was told they would escalate to a Support person which usually respond in 24-48 hours.

The support people never responded though the screening person begged to not buy again and WAIT for them to help me..

4.5 days later - no response, so I bought another copy and got a valid code. Now have to take 2 days off work to scramble and complete the tax return.

Rather than continue promising they would help, it would have been better to tell me to F-off and I could just buy elsewhere and file a dispute. That way i could have completed it on my planned timeframe.

Bighometax.com fraudulently acquires license codes for software. They then sell those license codes to unsuspecting customers. If the customer downloads and files the same day they buy the software, they will probably be fine. But if they wait a couple of weeks to finish their return, that will be enough time for the originally defrauded legitimate customer to find out that their account has been charged for software they didn't authorize. The legitimate customer rightly cancels the license. Then when the bighometax customer calls in, they get another fraudulent license.

The licenses are not valid. the identical key is sold to multiple customers. I was able to download and use to prepare and e-file without a problem, but when I tried to use the product a second time for an amended return, I ran into problems updating the software. Intuit informed me that the company is not a legitimate reseller and cannot sell licensed products. Do not buy any product from this company.

THIS IS A SCAM SITE SELLING USED LICENSES FOR SOFTWARE! I purchased a personal tax program as well as a business tax program at the same time. Both licenses popped a code 605 while trying to activate and said they were invalid. I contacted the company through their "text" helpline and was provided with two different codes. Both of those showed invalid as well when trying to activate. I was given a 3rd set of activation keys which also failed. Stay away.

I purchased a tax software download. The purchase itself was a pretty normal process and the download was available within minutes. No anomalies to report on the software after about 1 month after purchase.

Quick download and works as it should.
