I had a profoundly disappointing experience with Biotech, an IOL lens company. After undergoing eye surgery in February, I temporarily lost vision in my right eye due to a production error in the lens they provided. This mistake forced me to undergo corrective surgery, causing immense physical and emotional distress.
During a consultation at Kiran Hospital (Surat), my doctor, Dr. S S , contacted Biotech's representative, D H Patel, who admitted to the production mistake. However, when I later reached out to him personally, his response was dismissive. He said, "I can try, but their company is so big, I cannot do anything about this." I have stamped medical reports as proof, so we will see about that.
This lack of accountability and empathy was extremely frustrating and stressful. I’m sharing this to help others be aware of the potential risks with their products and the lack of meaningful support if issues arise.
