Avoid. The old owner was a lovely man who did lots of charity, but the guy who has taken over would win awards for terrible customer service. This is 2026 - no excuse to be so rude. All the other staff have left..and you can see why.

Absolutely fuming right now wish I could 0 star! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! I went to get an mot and I go into the reception area, from the offset the guy was very rude and had a chip on his shoulder I said ive arrived and ive never done this before as its my first car and he says oh your the one not parked properly I said I was just letting him know ive arrived he said what's ur number I couldnt remember as I struggle and have severe axiety, he seemed so P***** off with me i said I just need to get my phone out the car to get my number he said just park it and when I was trying to he was so damn rude with his comments while i was trying to park he was relentless from the get go! Actually give me a chance to park! I just drove off im not paying for abuse! I'm going elsewhere!

Booked in for an MOT and wheel alignment. Mechanic was rude, logged things as fails instead of advisories, and I found out after driving it for a couple of weeks that they'd unhooked my anti-roll bars during the alignment and left it detached. They'd also unwound the locking nut on my coilovers which they didn't need to touch. Potentially very dangerous, I could have rolled my car or the suspension spring could have unwound. Not using again.

Really disappointed. Had my bike in with them for last MOT nice and friendly. Not sure what the mechanics probably was. Really rude guy with a chip on his shoulder. It failed on brake pads and brake light even tho brake light is work absolutely fine for both front and back which I showed him. Just replied, "it is what it is" I said can you do the brake pads for me? "Not got time" is all got. So had to ride it home with no MOT Terrible customer service

Realised at 12 noon that my car MOT was due that day(!) on a Friday. Looked online and found Birchwood MOT as a good local garage to my work at Birchwood Park, and trustworthy due to the amount of positive Google reviews. Called to book in the car for the Monday or when available, but they bent over backwards, booked the car in that afternoon, and got it through it's MOT before the end of the day, cracking!

Knew there would be minor issues on the car, which they pointed out as advisories and did not pressure me into doing any work. Happy with the work carried out for the MOT, now looking to book the car in to fix the minor issues, and give it a service too - lots of extra work off the back of a rapid MOT! Couldn't thank the guys enough for turning a stressful afternoon into a walk in the (Birchwood) park!
