A great gym for beginners to the more experienced.
I've been going over 2 years and the gym always has friendly approachable staff.
If you choose to use the coaching it is brilliant. I learned lots.
Equipment is always in good order - dumbells being in the right place etc. Which is good because I will smite anyone who doesn't put them back in order!

Fantastic gym. Very friendly staff and an inclusive community of members of all ages and abilities. Coaching staff are all top class producing bespoke training programs to suit all needs. I joined just over a year ago and was new to weight training. I noticed the benefits to my physical and mental health within weeks of the coaching and training, and I still look forward to every session. Joining BCB was one of the best decisions I've made!

The gym is class, great equipment,friendly staff everyone is sound there aswell the environment is amazing even better when they got the heavy metal on aswell 👍

Working with Abi at Black Country Barbell was a fantastic experience. She helped me lose 10KG in just two months without ever feeling hungry! The changes she made to my diet were minimal, simple, and straightforward, which made them easy to follow. The weekly check-ins were great for accountability, and I really appreciated the regular weigh-ins and body scans. It was great to have her with me throughout the process.

I can honestly say this is the BEST gym I’ve ever been to. Before joining BCB, I trained at commercial gyms with no real programme, just copying workouts I’d seen on Instagram and only ever using 10kg dumbbells at most. Making the jump to BCB was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m now deadlifting 95kg and feeling stronger than ever. The staff and members are so welcoming and polite, and it’s such a nice change to be in a place where people genuinely want to chat and support each other. The only way I can describe it is, it feels like home 😊

What started out as just a 'quick fix' became an essential part of my life. Im not, or I guess more accurately: wasn't a gym person. I had no interest in that lifestyle but as soon as I started and saw the improvements to my physical and mental health I knew that this was something I desperately needed to keep doing. Don't waste your time with busy, messy commercial gyms, come join a fantastic, supportive community instead. You won't regret it.

Great Gym, Welcoming staff and a wide range of equipment

I have been training here now for just over 5 years and it’s the best thing I ever did. I have worked with 2 coaches in that time and they were fantastic.
I had so much to learn having never trained before or even stepping in s gym.
I started at 42 and the changes to my health and body are amazing.
The gym itself has all the equipment needed and is always kept tidy by the staff and all the members.
No hunting for plates here!
They do try to keep the gym numbers low so that the gym is never too full and you never have to wait for equipment which is great when you are pushed for time.
If you want a gym where you feel welcome and part of a community this us the gym for you.

Best gym I've ever used & my experience has been made better by the coaching from my PT James. Also he updates all my training plans every week. It's kept challenging & appropriate for my goals. BCBB stay very much on their client's agenda. The staff are friendly & helpful. The gym & equipment are all kept in top condition. I took a friend for a special day pass & she loved it too. Other members are all friendly too. Best thing I ever did!

One of the best gyms in the Midlands with friendly staff and great equipment. They keep their rates competitive without having you break the bank and do some fantastic social events that make you feel part of something rather than a number like most gyms.
