The funny thing they called me asking for 5% after sale which I didn’t sell my business with them.😂😂😂

We are sorry to read that you are unhappy with your experience.
However, your review does not accurately reflect the full circumstances. We advised on several occasions that a valid non-domestic EPC was required in order for the business to be marketed in compliance with the legal requirements relating to commercial property, and that this needed to be put in place within the required timeframe rather than after a sale had been agreed.
We also believe that prospective buyers should be given clear information at the outset so that any interest is genuine and properly informed, rather than based on incomplete details that may not lead to a transaction once the full information is known.
While we appreciate your frustration, we do not accept that characterisation of our business or service. We remain willing to discuss the matter directly and professionally should you wish to do so.

SCAMMERS - Run Away!
I had a restaurant to be sold in London. They called me asking to sell the restaurant. The vendors valued it at £60,000, and 21 years of lease remained. **Content Removed for Flagging** For almost 4 months, there was not even a single lead or viewing was arranged. Such a Shame on them.
When asked, they said that they will definitely close in a week or two. But nothing happened, I was piling the bills of the rent and others. Landlord was pressurising me for the rent and others. But they were very cool without any action. Finally, the landlord took over the restaurant.
We emailed this to BBB and said it was disappointing. They didn't reply, instead they ghosted us. After 8 months they sent an invoice for the sale of restaurant which they didn't even do.
**Content Removed for Flagging** I have the list and screenshot of all the negative reviews of Blacks Business Brokers and planning to publish them by buying a domain very shortly.
And, if you want to see their reputation, see their annual accounts submitted to Companies House for company number 06648404. They claim that they sell 100s of Business, but only Debters instead of revenue.
Now, I will get a threat or a court notice for writing this detailed review about them.

Don’t trust this company. They told me that there is no obligation or cost involved until I sold my business and that I never needed to agree to selling but when I told them I’d rather not sell the business they ask for thousands of pounds and threatening court action.

We are sorry to read your review and disappointed that you feel this way, particularly given the amount of work undertaken on your behalf.
For clarity, we carried out a significant amount of marketing, generated enquiries, and successfully secured a committed buyer for your business. This required substantial time, resources, and negotiation from our team. Unfortunately, after we had secured an agreed deal, you then chose not to proceed with the sale.
While you are of course entitled to change your mind, this outcome was unfair on the buyers involved, several of whom invested their own time, energy and costs throughout the process. The buyer who wished to proceed was understandably frustrated after committing to due diligence and the agreed terms.
Our terms of business, which were signed at the outset, explain the circumstances under which fees may become payable, including situations where a seller decides to withdraw after a buyer has been secured. These terms were fully explained and are standard within the industry.
We appreciate that deciding not to sell a business is a personal choice, but it is important to acknowledge the extensive work completed and the impact of a late withdrawal on all parties involved.
If you would like to discuss your concerns directly, we would be happy to do so and clarify any remaining points.
