Where do I start! Her name is Sally James and I know I was the lucky one to have her respond to my email. I am in the US trying to get my husband London's birth certificate so that my son can get a UK passport. I hit the Jackpot. Sally was so incredibly helpful with her advice. She made sure she found the birth certificate and had it shipped to the Passport office, so I didn't have to pay double to have it shipped to the US and then back to the UK. Give her a raise!! Sally James is a delight to work with. I wish everyone was as helpful and sweet as her.

After spending a lot of time through solicitors trying to get a document I discovered bmdarchives. There efficient and friendly service was excellent.
Thank you Sally James for your personal correspondence and helpful updates, and receiving my documents on time and considerably cheaper than solicitors.
I highly recommend this service.

Having loaned a copy of "Iris Grace" from a friend I knew I must have a copy to keep. Searching the Internet I found Awesome books and immediately purchased a secondhand copy at a very low price which I received today. The book was well packaged and the condition almost new.

Fast and reliable

I am an American and had been searching for my Irish born Grandfather's birth certificate for over 20 years. I had never known my Grandfather and had very limited knowledge of his birth - only that he was born in the County of Armagh Ireland in the late 1890s. I put my order in on a Monday and had an electronic copy of my Grandfather's birth certificate in my email by that Thursday! I'm completely over the moon with the service BMD Archives provided!!! I cannot recommend BMD any higher. Special "Thank You" to Sally for her outstanding professionalism and kindness.

Brilliant service by Sally and others at the BMD Archives. I needed help getting my parents wedding certificate a while back and more recently a birth certificate for my mother in law. Always a pleasure to deal with the people at the Archive.
