They dont allow you to get your assets of to sell them and get back the money. scammed! You have to notify police and authorities as we all are doing.

I have been a verified investor on BnkToTheFuture for years, holding equity shares in Kraken. This platform has turned into a legalized trap. They arbitrarily introduced a 0.20% monthly custody fee on private equity shares that have zero liquidity.To make it worse, they are actively manipulating the asset pricing. They sent out official emails stating a transaction price of $61.47 to artificially inflate the portfolio value on paper, solely to extract higher monthly fees from us. Meanwhile, the actual market price and weighted average on the order book is just $28.50. No one will buy at their forced price ceiling, meaning our funds are held hostage while being slowly eaten by fees.This predatory behavior by BnkToTheFuture reflects horribly on Kraken as a company. I have officially reported this fraudulent price management and behavior to Kraken's support. Early backers are being robbed in broad daylight. Stay away from this platform!

-Applied fees just for HOLDING asset.
-Terrible verification process.
-Scamming attitude.

They suddenly decided to charge high fees. And if you don't want to sell your assets under value or belong to the high net worth people, you don't even have any options to accept and pay.
Customer service is terrible, too. They are the most arrogant, unfriendly people I ever had to deal with.
Again, save your money, avoid trouble, and just stay away from this evil "company".

Bank to the Future all of the sudden starts to charge a 0,20% monthly fees on Private Equity Shares that basically have no liquidity.

Furthermore, you have to be able to classify as a Tier-4 investor (Net worth > 1 Mio USD) to qualify for trading which was not like that in the years before. There is an option of dormant closing but somehow trades go through if you look at the order book but my one does not (the example here is Kraken).

Besides the spontaneous charging of fees for illiquid shares on a monthly basis I had to update my identification several times which makes me wonder how good the technical foundation of the platform might be..

No answer for a support ticket after a month. I suppose it will never get an answer. They have decided to charge a custody fee or you can put you shares for sale on the secondary market. But, to be able to sell you need to be KYC verified tier 2 (or 1, don't remember). And they use an online verification service named "veriff" that does not support my official, government issued, photo ID. It only supports passport, which I don't have. So, 1. they will charge the custody fee; 2. I cannot sell them; 3. Nobody at support

At this point, they are a scammer organization. Plain thieves.

Their support has always been terrible. I had an issue with withdrawing tokens from the platform and they were unable to make it work.

Now they have introduced 0.2% monthly fee for all holdings. Many of them can't be moved elsewhere and can't be sold in their illiquid markets. They basically decided to steal all cusomers' money slowly.

My friend died, he had an account with bnktothefuture. His surviving relatives tried to contact them, but no contact whatsoever with bnktothefuture, already for months. They cannot get to the account due to the EDD, which obviously cannot be completed as my friend died 2 years ago.

You would expect bnktothefuture to be of assistance in such a tragical event, however, not even a confirmation reply. Anyone any suggestion how to proceed?

After submitting multiple support tickets, it appears they are deliberately restricting access to the account and holding the funds. They request verification but provide no clear instructions on how to complete it. Even after submitting the required documents, my emails go unanswered. I currently have $5,000 worth of shares, yet receive no assistance. In their last message, they stated they would close the support ticket, which is unreasonable given the lack of guidance and no solution. Maybe their solution is that they keep my money? This behavior does not reflect good faith on the company’s part. I am starting to believe the money is actively being stolen, and I will never see the money anymore. This is depressing, because its been there invested for years (7 years), and now it has grown into meaningful amount and seems its meaningful enough to start restricting and limiting me.

Nonexistent customer service. And when they do reply, literally months later, total incompetence. I’ve been trying to get my contact info (email address) changed since [checks notes] 2023!

2025 Ticket number 364161. Original 2023 ticket number was 338063. Multiple Customer Service Representatives, same incompetence and lack of follow up, let alone any sense of urgency.

Your emails just go in to a black hole while they sit on your money. Simon Dixon should be ashamed to be involved with this platform.

My account has been locked for one year and half even if I provided all the information required.

As pointed out earlier, the secondary market for shares has become essentially unusable since the price cap was introduced last year. With both buy and sell prices locked to the current share valuation, it no longer operates like a real market. This asset pricing management certainly feels like a scam.

I was required to do my ID verification and submitted the verification documents on Jan 21, the email confirmation says it takes up to 21 working days, however, it has now been nearly 2 months, still pending, opened a support ticket almost 2 weeks ago and no response either. Ticket #365629

Also, last year I received an email from BTTF says due to regulation, they can no longer operate in my jurisdiction and my account became ‘Dormant Closing’, meanwhile the email encouraged us to sell our existing shares and withdraw our assets, without providing more information, and their secondary market for private equity is literally unusable due to the price cap introduced last year, both sell & buy price have to be equal to the current valuation price per share, can no longer set different prices like a real market…it killed the liquidity on an already small ‘secondary’ market, and impossible to get orders filled.

After posted in Investor Zone asking more explanation on the ‘dormant closing’ situation as well as how it is possible to sell shares given the current condition of the secondary market..But up until now it’s been nearly 5 months, still no one from BTTF responds to it, similar or related concerns were also posted by other investors, no response either.

They seem to be using the ID re-verification as an opportunity to prevent investors from participating any activities on the platform (including posting questions in Investor zone and discussion page to interact with other investors who are in the same situation and have similar questions), meanwhile holding our shares ‘in hostage’ and since they just ignore support tickets and no one knows how much longer this will take to regain full access on the platform, this looks more and more like a fraudulent operation nowadays.

I invested in two companies via BnkToTheFuture (BTTF) way back in 2016 and have had the worst possible service ever since. I will not bore you with all the details of my horrendous experiences with this scam of a company - suffice it to day that I have not been able to get any money back - STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD - AN UTTER SCAM.

Simon Dixon was a shining light during the Celsius saga and I'm indebted to him for navigating through the mess.
However, sadly, it's been 40 working days since my funds have been locked in BTTF (ticket number 358146) without a response.
I was in the middle of an ETH unstaking transaction when a notice popped up to update my ID, followed shortly thereafter by an EDD request, both of which I submitted. I'm in a very compromised position of not being able to unstake my ETH or to withdraw my funds. Please help me to unstake my ETH, access my funds and close my account.

My account got frozen months ago and I get no answer from them. My EDD got rejected but they don't tell me why. They stoped replying weeks ago. Meanwhile I can´t access my funds.

do not put your money anywhere near! I have been trying to access the secondary market platform for WEEKS after further MONTHS of being fobbed off. You will not be able to sell your shares. They basically hold your money hostage!! For weeks the trading platform on secondary markets page simply says ''System maintenance in progress, the page is temporarily offline for essential updates and optimisations'. And support does not respond. Total cowboy outfit - stay away!!

Multiply emails sent over 1 month, no reply, no information.

So without warning or any communication of possible problems my account was frozen due to the need for all clients to now have passed a security check, EDD.
Ive had my submission fail twice due to the lack of reliable information on what criteria is required. Meanwhile I cannot even withdraw my own funds or manage my account.

After much to and froing with support emails....
16th July. So I've had an apology and some clear instructions, finally! Credit where it's due.My account is unlocked.
