Amazing! So peaceful!
Everything we needed for our family vacation! Plenty of space for 9 of us, super clean and all the amenities you can think of. Close to everything but far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds at the end of the day. A 3 minute walk to Tres Trapi, where we spent most mornings snorkelling and a 5 - 10 minute drive to the busier tourist areas.
The pool was perfect, the beds were comfortable and the shower pressure - the best!
Communicating with the host was easy, they sent plenty of recommendations leading up to our arrival and checking in was a breeze even though we were a bit early. They were extremely responsive when we needed more towels, arriving within the hour.
If we were to return with a large group we would definitely stay here again. We all loved it. Would highly recommend!!

RUN--don't walk AWAY from this resort!! RUINED VACATION! Checked in 2/13/2025 for 5 days. Not met by anyone, just lock box on unit MV021. No explanation of amenities promised at booking. Was supposed to be 3 bedroom---Yes, but 3rd bedroom was LOCKED off by owner. Washer/dryer--yes--but Locked off by owner. Getting ready for dinner?--shower overflowed w 2" water throughout bedroom. Despite hours on the phone couldn't get help; wet towels picked up 2 days later. Finger pointing between Tierra del sol, unit owner and bocabay w/no one taking responsibility. Finally was told some adjustment would be made for rental cost--then cut off communication with me. No adjustment made. No one available to help with anything

Horrible cancellation policy. Due to the illness in the family we have to cancel our trip. No refund were issued. No actual customer service.

Like another reviewer, we booked a luxury house through Boco Bay a year ahead of our trip. Yesterday, three days before we are to arrive in Aruba, we get notified that they were canceling our rental. They found us another property, which looks fine, but nowhere near the area we wanted to be in. The new area requires us to drive everywhere so we asked that they throw in the cost of a rental car, to which they gladly agreed. They quickly took it back, saying it wasn’t in their budget, and my numerous emails and calls have now been completely ignored. I guess they figure it’s not their problem anymore.

We stayed from 16 september on behalve of 29 September at apartment Bocobay Gold Coast resort and we had everything what we wish for.
The chambers were to our wishes and we had nothing to complain about. We asked for 2 sleepingrooms and get what we requested so included 1 extra bathroom that was a pluspoint of our stay.
Almost every need was to request.
We didn't use all the amenities except for the pool. The pool was clean and tiny but enough for a group of people.
The customerservice of Bocobay was our highest priority to make sure that our travel went very smoothly.
Thanks to the customerservice of Bocobay we did know everything what we had to know.
Our time at Bocobay Gold Coast was a wonderfull experience. Our neighbors were nice and we had a goodly view.
Everytime we passed the security of Bocobay there was no more feeling that we are not save at our apartment.
We were very gratefull that we have booked the apartment by Lastminute.com for the Bocobay Gold Coast deal.

We booked our 8 night/9 day family vacation, of 7 people, with Bocobay Rentals at O Condominium, unit #22. This unit is advertised as a *Brand new luxury 4 bedroom penthouse unit. All guests deserve standard and even basic needs, especially in a hot climate such as Aruba. On our second full day of stay, the hot water went out as did the air conditioner. The two issues were linked together and by the second day of this we contacted management. They were already familiar with the problem and had to shut off the hot water tank. This meant no hot showers for 7 people, no sanitary washing of dishes and pans, and no clean clothing. We were told the issue would get fixed and we waited. By our third day without a resolution and because Bocobay said they couldn’t reach the owners, we address an email to management and asked that they forward it to the owner. I didn’t see why the guest experience didn’t come first? Management next day said a part was being flown in and not to worry because they understood our issues and they would give us an adjustment to “take care of us.” Two more days went by and it was repaired at 5:00 PM the night before our departure. This issue claimed the majority of our stay. Lastly but not least, the ice maker was broken the entire time too. We ended up paying rack rate to be treated sub-par, where the guest experience was the last of their concerns.

Do not book here!! I booked through expedia for 09/27, my husband is a paramedic and got covid and so did I. I called numerous times to try to get a refund but nobody answered. When I finally got a hold of the receptionist and explained, she said “sorry we can’t refund as per our policy.” I asked what the policy was, she paused and hung up!!
I wasted $1400 and they never refunded me, would have much rather I came contagious with covid and risked all other tourists there. Terrible service, DO NOT BOOK!

Only gave one star because it is not possible to give zero or negative. Horrible experience after booking a property more than a month in advance of a family vacation and 72 hours before our flight I am notified of the reservation being cancelled and we're being "upgraded" (read you are being forced to stay in a substantially lower quality location in an undesirable area for the same cost even though you booked an entire house and will now be in an apartment). I had to scramble to avoid having no accommodations on our planned, too late to cancel without severe financial loss, trip.
Response: after 2 years of this review you are responding and trying to "make it right"!? What are you suggesting you would do for me at this stage? BTW there will be no record of me cancelling because I didn't, you did!

We had a pretty villa in Aruba and the booking was smooth. Our issues began on day one with our self catering villa having no working oven. We had a member of our group with severe allergies so prefer for health reasons to cook for ourselves. We therefore couldn't do this. We also had another room that leaked when it rained and ruined many items of clothing.
We informed the company of our issues when we were there. They were full of sympathy but no action. I put an honest claim in for monies We spent due to the challenges we faced. And we have been ignored completely. They tell me it is being dealt with but sadly I have had zero communication. It feels like our ruined holiday has not been taken seriously at all.
