Unsatisfactory product.
Used it on plastic to mend crack - fell off. Used it as a sealer on a seam - fell off. It isn’t a glue because it doesn’t glue anything together. I was stupid and bought 6 tubes thinking of all the things I was going to fix. Duct tape worked better and it’s cheaper.
Totally useless
Totally useless. It doesn't work on anything. Its scam and don't buy it.
This bonding agent is good for 2 things…
This bonding agent is good for 2 things and 2 things only. First, to bond 2 small pieces together such as a hummel, or figure as long as the repaired piece is never moved from a shelf for instance. Second, to hold 2 pieces together making it easier to apply a real repair material such as epoxy. Other than that you will be very disappointed otherwise.
Misleading advertising
The plastic bonding material has a use by date and shelf life. I’d originally seen 3 months (4? maybe, can’t remember) but on their website now they claim a year. I discovered though that if you use the solution after the date it will definitely not work properly. I made this mistake after buying six extra tubes and using it after the use by date. It also doesn't work as well as they demonstrate. I had limited success sticking together pieces of plastic before and after use by date expired, in spite of following the videos. For larger surface areas it was worse. One problem is the UV light will not penetrate beyond a few mm in between surfaces to be bonded, so when trying to fix broken ceramics or porcelain for example, it was not very effective. The advertisements joining bricks and so on are very misleading, and as for claiming it’s not a glue, they are selling it to work like a glue even though it’s plastic cement cured with UV light. Better off with a 2 part epoxy glue.
Where's my money
It's not a glue but it has a place where nothing else works. I think it's fantastic, however. I bought 3 tubes a couple of years ago, I didn't use my opened tube for a year when I went to use it the tube burst. So I opened a new one which had just burst in the pack and was empty, same for tube 3. I emailed bondic who were very apologetic and said yes they had had problems with the packaging and they would send replacements. Months later and following the tracking it said I'd received the package which I hadn't. Emailed them again, they requested my address and then told me the package had been sent to another town. *contrary to popular belief NZ is more than one town. So then I got told we'll refund you, months later no refund, when quizzed I was told they had refunded it and I should ask paypal and my bank. Both places said no it hadn't happened. Now they are ignoring me and saying they can't refund twice. They have showed me zero evidence of a refund. In future I'll buy it from China which is exactly the same product fir a fraction of the price. Not happy.
Avoid - Bondic.co.uk
I have been ordering items online for years, with no problem, then all of a sudden with this company, they say my address was incorrectly keyed? Told to place another £30 order, on a pension that’s not going to happen, once bitten.
Not a Glue, not a Weld.
Despite it claiming that it is NOT a glue, more a welding process, Bondic themselves use the glue word quite liberally in their advertising. Not put off, I purchased a "Happy Birthday" tin/tube of Bondic.
The first job I used it for was to " weld/glue" a rubber "o" ring to a piece of flat Delrin plastic. Despite following the instructions to the letter, I had no success with this venture; particularly disappointing as it would have saved me quite a bit money. Now it was quite a bit of money plus the price of the Bondic. Not a good outcome.
I have done turds with more sticking…
I have done turds with more sticking power !!! Absolute 💩
Disappointed product
Very disappointed with the product. Never believe in their marketing video.
It won't work I try it and it is all…
It won't work I try it and it is all scam
I've used Bondic in my model building…
I've used Bondic in my model building activities and it's marvellous stuff for connecting small parts that do not fix together without being manually held in place. Glue doesn't work in these circumstances as the time taken for it to cure means the parts move out of alignment. Bondic is superb for this kind of job as it sets hard in seconds.
Firstly what a con
Firstly, here is a product with wonderful slick advertising, well packaged, good delivery, all this builds the confidence that this product has been well researched and works well.
It is breathtaking how bad this product actually is and is an absolute con and does not work. I have watched you tube reviews where the reviewer has gone out of their way to try and make it work, it just doesn’t, I tried to fix some glasses which just fell apart!! Plus many other letdowns along the way, I suppose it is just an easy way for someone to buy a villa in the sun from their scam
Certainly not a glue, and a bit of a gimmick!
Certainly not a glue! Fixes tiny things which just need setting in place, and does that well, as you don’t have to worry about the time for the adhesive to cure. Anything else seen in the promotional videos is pure fantasy!
it does not weld .May weld it self but…
it does not weld .May weld it self but not your substrate to it .No would not use .Well just another money making exercise .Iwould be ashamed to promote this product .
Assolutamente pessimo
Non tiene nemmeno le aste occhiali come pubblicizzato
Great product if you don't expect too much of it
I appreciate many reviewers frustration with Bondic, and agree that the advertising is misleading as to its capabilities. However, there are some things for which it is really good. For anything small and fiddly but which is not under any leverage strain it is great! Fixing jewelry, for instance (or making designs). Repairing gel-nails (itself a uv product) or substituing it - as long as the light is held a good distance from the finger to avoid burns. Repairing antique silver teapots, so they can be used without leaking. Little things like that, for which nothing else quite works. I think it might work for instantly fixing something in place so it could then be drilled and screwed, too....
Absolute rubbish
Absolute rubbish. I saw a video of what this product could allegedly do on YouTube, and stupidly didn't read the reviews first. I didn't have any problem with the delivery, except that it took about 3 weeks to arrive, and all the UV lights work fine. The video which I saw was complete fantasy, because it showed a chain, which had supposedly been joined together with Bondic, being used to tow a vehicle. There is no chance of that being possible because it couldn't even fix a wooden spoon or a vacuum cleaner handle, which I used it for. When I had read the reviews, I thought that the reviewers hadn't followed the instructions and had not applied the fluid properly. I followed the directions to the letter but it just doesn't bond the materials together. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, IT'S AN ABSOLUTE SCAM.
This product is good as a head cement…
This product is good as a head cement for tying fishing flies and that’s about all. Anything else I tried to fix together fell apart. When you think about it to fix two items together they should fit tightly then the glue does the rest. If they fit tightly how does the uv light activate the bondic?
I love Bondic!
I love Bondic! I do not use it as a glue, as it says it is not a glue. But I use it to cover cracks in plastic; phone cords where the plastic breaks, things that need reinforcement AFTER I glue them. It is fabulous. My automatic ice cube tray plastic cracked. I used it to seal the creak. Lasts great. So many uses. Highly recommend. I have used it in several layers to build up a piece that is chipped. Ceramic or plastic.

Watched all the Utube reviews
Watched all the Utube reviews, HOW TO's and bought it from JAYCAR for approx 49$, total waste of money, tried on a plastic handle and broke even though I left it for 24 hrs, Then my glasses, as shown in the videos, my right arm broken used Bondic and as soon as I tried to put the glasses on the bond broke with very minimal stress. DONT waste your money
