I have been a Boo user since 2024 and my account was OFFICIALLY VERIFIED by the platform. Suddenly, I was banned for "impersonation" (identity theft), which is impossible since the app itself had already confirmed my identity through a selfie.
It is clear that Boo’s system is broken. They encourage users to report others in exchange for "Boo Coins," which leads to thousands of fake reports just for profit. The AI is incompetent and there is no human support to review these mistakes.
To make matters worse, I now get an absurd "age error" (2044) that blocks my device entirely. This app is a scam for legitimate users who follow the rules. Do not trust their "verified" badge, it means nothing.

Boo has devolved into a complete rip off. It consists primarily of AI accounts. I would say J4Dreams.com
is the real deal these days because it's more than a chat service. They actually have authentic accounts of real girls that Boo lacks so much. I'm sure that Boo World app has fallen into the pit of incompetence and extreme greed. All the real people seem to have left it for some reason.

I signed up for a one-week trial and was slapped with a one-month fee for a subscription (yes, I cancelled before the trial was up). Boo refuses to issue a refund. There are plenty of friend-making and dating apps out there that won’t screw you over like Boo. Run far away from this app!

Got banned after paying. They are scammers

Surely, they show you many visually appealing women and they claim that most of them are interested in you, but unlike legitimate apps, e.g. J4Meet.com
etc. they don't allow you to contact these women. When you join Boo with the paid subscription in order to be able to write to these girls, you can't find them anymore. You can only contact those shown to you by Boo as your potential matches. But the majority of them are obviously fake: either computer generated or just terribly outdated. Either way, nobody writes back other than automatic two line nonsense replies while you are still on a free subscription.

I reported a user involved in a violent assault that took place on January 31, 2026 in Winterberg, Germany. During this incident, the person threw a hotel keycard into the victim’s eye and pushed the victim to the ground, causing serious injuries. The German police attended the scene that same evening.
I have submitted multiple reports via email and through the app, including clear evidence and profile details. Despite this, I have received no response at all.
Even more concerning, the profile is still active and visible in the app.
This raises serious concerns about how Boo handles reports involving violence and user safety. I expected at least a confirmation or that appropriate action would be taken to protect other users.
At this moment, there has been no communication and no visible action.
I strongly urge Boo to take reports like this seriously and act immediately when user safety is at risk.

I purchased the "Unlimited" subscription and discovered a systematically fraudulent operation:

1. THE "UNLIMITED" LIE

Paid for "Unlimited" browsing. After exactly 20 profiles, the app displays "no more profiles available." This is the CORE feature they sell - and it's a complete lie. The name "Unlimited" is false advertising, plain and simple.

2. HIDDEN PAYWALLS EVERYWHERE

Features prominently advertised as "included" in the Unlimited plan (like "Super Love") are locked behind ADDITIONAL paywalls. You pay for "unlimited," then discover you need to pay MORE for the features they showed you in the sales pitch.

This is bait-and-switch fraud.

3. BROKEN CORE FUNCTIONALITY

Regional filters - a basic feature - simply don't work. Countries are missing from the selection menu despite profiles from those countries being visible on the platform. Russia completely absent from filters, yet Russian profiles appear.

They can't even deliver functional basic features, let alone "unlimited" anything.

4. PRICE MANIPULATION (MOST CONCERNING)

Desktop website: €X for Unlimited subscription
Mobile app: €Y for THE IDENTICAL SERVICE

They charge different prices based on your device. This is deliberate price discrimination — they're calculating how much they can extract from you based on platform, not service value.

This is unethical, potentially illegal, and absolutely predatory.

5. ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT - TOTAL GHOST OPERATION

I requested a refund TWO HOURS after purchase, clearly explaining these issues.

Response after 24 hours: NOTHING.
Response after 48 hours: SILENCE.
Response after 72 hours: MOST PROBABLY COMPLETE GHOST.

They have no functional customer support. Emails go into a void. They took my money and disappeared.

I found a support email through Google (not even listed clearly on their site). Zero response. This company operates like a scam - take money, ignore complaints, hope you give up.

ACTIONS TAKEN:

✓ Formal dispute filed with Revolut
✓ Reviews posted across all platforms
✓ Complaint submitted to consumer protection authorities
✓ Documenting all evidence for further legal action if necessary

BOTTOM LINE:

This is not a legitimate dating service. This is a sophisticated scam operation:

- False advertising (fake "unlimited")
- Bait-and-switch tactics (hidden paywalls)
- Price manipulation (device-based discrimination)
- Non-functional features (broken filters)
- Zero accountability (no customer support)

They rely on people giving up after being scammed for €24-50. Don't be another victim.

AVOID THIS APP ENTIRELY. Use literally any other dating platform - Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, anything. They're all better than this fraudulent operation.

If you've already been scammed: File a dispute with your payment provider immediately. Screenshot everything. Post reviews everywhere. Report to consumer protection.

Don't let them get away with this.

I subscribed to the unlimited plan and got banned the next day. The only thing it said in the reason tab was "Boo is not yet available in your region". There was an "appeal" button and I simply wrote "why?" in the field and the next day there was a red message saying "your ban is permanent".

Screw Boo and screw the development team!

Je ne comprend pas les avis précédents, qui, dénigre l'application. Je l'utilise depuis sont lancement, au debut toutes les fonctionnalités étaient gratuites et il est vrai qu'avec le temps, les inscriptions de cureiux, les abonnements ont pointé le bout de leur nez. Néanmoins, on y fait vraiment des rencontres.. J'ai rencontres des personnes dessus qui sont devenus des amis dans la vraie vie, ainsi qu'un amoureux. J'y suis toujours aujourd'hui. Les applications de rencontres sont toutes payantes alors pourquoi venir s'en prendre a celle-ci ? Je ne comprend pas.

Concernant le service client, en cas de soucis j'ai toujours eu une bonne réactivité de leur part. Je n'ai jamais eu aucun problème. Je conseille cette application a toutes personnes ouvertes d'esprit et souhaitant decouvrir une app vraiment cool.

The worst experience ever, not only with the app users (men with the manners of apes), but also with Boo representatives (unprofessional, abusive, unlawful) who have restricted my account for 'pornographic content' because of my profile picture - showing my neck and shoulders while wearing a bathing suit (the picture had been my profile picture for over one month when someone decided to insult and humiliate me in the most disrespectful way possible.)
App users should know that the information provided by Boo (app and customer service) is inaccurate: the profile, when deleted, is not invisible to other users. Moreover, the deletion is not allowed for 30 days, which is a severe violation of human rights.
GDPR regulations are also violated by Boo representatives.

This is why I hate dating apps, theres a lot of people around or within my area. But these dating app wouldn't show it. It will show more far away area which is harder to meet in personally. That is why it is really impossible to meet someone in dating apps. It's really annoying.

Avoid this scam app, nobody ever responds, all the profiles are ethier AI, fake or abandoned, waste of money, in fact all dating apps have become this way since mid 2025, I totally believe it's got something to do with the socialist leftwing governments as in aim to destroy the hopes and dreams of those trying to socialise (Ironic hey!) think about it, why are all the dating Apps all of a sudden become brickwalls in a vast nothingness, probably more than a scam feels like a deliberate plan to knock us off psychologically and of course to drain us of financial well being at the same time, save your time and money Avoid, you have been warned!

The app seems dead really. No one seems to interact with you and there’s nothing much to do on it. I get match’s from people from all these foreign countries. That now I’m starting to think they are scammers and the app is one big scam. I think most of the profiles are fakes. I had payed for membership. But I’m getting my money back from Apple. I would stay far away from this app. It’s as useless has a brick. But saying that you can do way more with a brick. 😂
