I asked this AI service to translate my book from French to Italian using the premium plan.
First issue: the translation did not work at all. Nothing was delivered. I had to contact customer support.
After that, they sent me a file that was entirely written in French, meaning no translation had been done, despite my very clear request and payment.
I contacted support again, but I have received no response so far. This is the second serious issue in the same day, and the service provided does not match what is advertised.
Until I either receive a proper translation or a full refund, I consider this experience unacceptable and potentially misleading. For now, I am keeping this review published.

Aber die Deutschen Umlaute ö,ü,ä und Apostrophe ' wurden nicht gesetzt - im gesamten Buch!!
Auch wurden ganze Textpassagen (27.000 Zeichen) nicht übersetzt.

At the recommendation of a Reddit commentator I confidently paid for two spiritual-philosophical books to be translated from English to Russian. After paying and seeing the delay in translation (I was in a waiting queue) I became doubtful and read the TrustPilot reviews which did not bring me any confidence. Well I'm back with a success story and to set the record straight. The AI translation was absolutely fantastic. It took about 6-7 hours for my translations to be completed, most of that time was probably just waiting in the queue. I think the actual translation takes just minutes at most.

A lot of the spiritual and philosophical concepts of Eastern traditions are very complicated and difficult to describe and teach. What to say about translating them?! Well the AI translation exceeded my expectations especially for the price I paid for this service. Please be reassured that the service is legit and the translation is excellent or at least English to Russian as in my case.

I believe one of the negative reviewers made the mistake I had almost made. The wording on the website is confusing. You upload your book and then it asks you to select the target language. I thought it was asking what the language of the original book was (English in my case). However when I saw there was no option to choose the Output language I realized Target language must mean the language I want AI to translate the book into (in my case Russian). So the other negative reviewer must have selected English and AI translated English to English. An unfortunate but understandable mistake.

Thanks for the service I will probably use it again.

Seems like the absolute scam. I paid for translation pro, when translation was complete I downloaded translated doc. It was the same language.
Let’s see if my bank can reverse a transaction.
The guy, founder or whoever he is don’t answer emails to deal with the issue.
Be careful, there is also no a lot of info about the company.
Better go to trusted websites.
If you see this it means the issue remains.

The website booktranslator.ai says that the book has been successfully translated, but it cannot be downloaded. Error 404 This page could not be found.

The support team initially wrote back that they would personally take care of it, but after repeated enquiries there was no further response.

Because PayPal payments are not accepted, my money is now lost.
