Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. Unprofessional, Liars, Useless, Time wasters.
Have tried to buy a house from Bond Oxborough Phillips since February, but have had nothing but lies, failed promises and misleading information (Property advertised as immediately available, finished flooring etc - none of which has happened or has been done). It has been disastrous from start to finish on the side of Bond Oxborough Phillps and the staff involved should be ashamed that they couldnt sell a house to first time buyers who were ready to go.
I have had to constantly chase for forward progress, to no avail.
The business is a shambles. I am very glad that I will never EVER have to deal with Bond Oxborough Phillips again.

Excellent Customer Service from Torrington Rental Department
After settling into our new home we would like to express our thanks and gratitude to the BOP branch in Torrington and staff for their professionalism and help in finding the right property for us. We would like to give a special mention to Olly who answered our questions promptly and was incredibly mindful of our requirements.

Worst / rudest / least professional estate agent in Barnstaple?
We were looking to rent a 4 bedroom+ property in the Barnstaple area while we were selling our home and looking for our next. A 4 bedroom listing came up in Sticklepath Barnstaple with agents Bond Oxborough Phillips. I enquired if it was OK for us to keep our outdoor dog there, and for me to work from home there. I explained, we were looking for somewhere to buy. The reply was we had an appointment to view. "Yes, but is having our dog and working from home OK?" No answer. RSVP. Again. 4 emails and no reply, so we did not attend the viewing and complained to a partner. Guess what? He did not reply (though we know he got our email).
We ended up buying a 6 bed property with sea views via another agent. Duh Bond Oxborough Phillips! I was careful not to view anything listed for sale with them though, to be honest, they did not have anything suitable anyway.
I suggest that you send your management and staff to Phillips, Smith & Dunn for training! Good luck with your bad attitudes.
