Honest review
Let's start but saying im a gardener, I ordered some grass seeds on friday (around 6pm) so thinking to my self ill recieve them monday for the job on tuesday, well they diddnt turn up so I called and they said to me that saturday is not a working day (which is NOT stated on the delivery) so they told me that its out for delivery today (Tuesday) so I waited a little while amd recieved a delivery slot time (3-5) so I went and brought seeds elsewhere for the job, got home and still no delivery so this morning (Wednesday) I rang agian and asked for a refund.
So this company states Next Day Delivery on orders made before 2 o'clock but ive already waited 5 days so what you do with this review is up to you but if you do not want to messed about id go elsewhere.
I shall NOT be using thia company for anything especially there delivery courier (DX)

I don’t usually do reviews!!!!! I’m going to do 2 reviews, this review is to give 5 stars, the delivery was very fast and efficient. I only ordered yesterday and my order arrived today, I will do another review in a few weeks, I’ve today used BS pre fertiliser and low shade grass seed.

Order for next day delivery did not arrive
Order for next day delivery as was taking these seeds to help my elderly relative. Seeds did not arrive, phoned them up, press all the buttons, last message tells me to email them.... Poor customer service.
Next time I'll buy from Amazon instead of trying to be kind and go direct
Poor delivery & completely uninterested customer service
Poor delivery & uninterested customer service - very different to last year. Second time using them, having been happy last year however we won't be ordering from them again. Delivery was delayed & then very third-rate - no tracking available (apart from 'between 8am-8pm') & informed we would have to sign. Hang around all day & finally a random (not DHL) van stopped on our lane & left the package on the drive! Informed the company & seriously could not have been less interested! Didn't even bother to pretend that they gave a toss. Honestly, how hard is it to fake a vague interest in your customers' experience ...
Definitely wouldn't recommend & won't use again.

I have used Boston Seeds a number of times for lawn seed. Exceptional customer service and high quality seed.
Repeat order, brilliant service
Phone up for a repeat order the following year of the same grass seed was dispatched and arrived the following day this is exceptional service couldn’t fault it well packed material thank you very much

Excellent customer service, so rare nowadays. Raised a complaint about delivery and was immediately resolved even though the fault was not actually with them. Very good.
Exceptionally poor service
Exceptionally poor service, would recommend you buy elsewhere. Purchased seed and lawn feed on next day delivery. Seed arrived a day late and was different to what I had ordered and not suitable for my lawn. No lawn feed. Contacted customer services who said they would send correct seed and feed next day delivery, and collect incorrect seed. Stayed in all day and no delivery. Next day get notice that proper seed will be delivered but still no lawn feed. Have exchanged 10 emails with customer services but they are frankly useless. If you are not happy to put up with delivery delays, part deliveries and extensive exchanges with customer service then don't use these guys.

Great customer service. My parcel went to the wrong address (my fault) and the team at Boston Seeds did a great job sorting it out.

I highly recommend Boston Seeds grass seed.
I've always struggled with grass seed until this year, for the first time I used Boston Seeds Premier Lawn Grass Seed and the results have been brilliant ! My grass has been transformed and looks really good.
I would think that the vast majority of seeds have germinated (even the seeds that were mistakenly spread onto a gravel path have germinated and are looking great !)

If you have a problem, don't bother contacting them. You'll be told to bugger off.
Or if you leave a bad review, you'll be told to bugger off here online 😂

Poor quality daffodil bulbs
For the past 20 years or so I have ordered daffodil bulbs in bulk on-line for delivery in September each year and planting in November. I changed my supplier this year to Boston Seeds and the 10kg bag that I ordered was delivered promptly and well packed. As always I store them in a cool, dry place. When I came to plant them out on 1 November I found a good 50% of the bulbs were soft and rotting. I had to procure more bulbs locally to complete my planting scheme. I advised Boston Seeds by email asking for a refund and they responded quickly and politely. They apologised and said they are sending 5kg of fresh bulbs as a replacement. They made no mention of refund. Please consider my experience if thinking of purchasing from this company.

Really impressed with product quality and customer service (I changed my order after placing).
Seeds germinated well and pleased with results.
"No mow" grass germinated after 10 days
I bought some "no mow" grass seed that was delivered next day (as promised). The seeds started germinating after about 10 days, which seemed a bit longer than I predicted. But the grass is looking good so far.
My only complaint with Boston Seeds is the amount of spam they send after an order. But you can always opt out.
BTW- "no mow" grass isn't really no mow. It's "mow twice per year", which still sounds good to me :-)
next day delivery took 4 days
The grass seed I ordered was highlighted as being next day delivery. It took four days so the window of dry weather disappeared and I lost time off work. I advise to go elsewhere if you want next day delivery.
