Jo did a fantastic job of providing some last minute options after our planned holiday fell through. Whilst it was not the holiday we had originally booked, it ended up being a luxurious holiday and I didn't even have to worry about the paperwork.
A true holiday from start to finish, knowing that we were in a trusted pair of hands!

This is the fifth time we’ve used Breakwater Travel for our Holiday needs and Jo always goes above and beyond to plan and organise our holiday with all of the little touches that make it special. Excellent communication throughout the whole process, including hand posted documents in the mail. The Holiday was exactly as described and we will definitely be using the service again in future thank you.

It was my first time going abroad on my own and the furthest i’d ever been away from home and it couldn’t have been easier! Having all the flights, hotel & car hire booked on my behalf and at such a short notice - mentioned the idea of going to Canada and in 2 days I had an itinery sorted - was so helpful! I had communication with Breakwater Travel throughout the trip and the whole experience was seamless :)

We were planning a trip to California to visit our daughter but wanted to see a bit of California on the way. I had never visited the USA before and had tried looking on-line but was getting no where. Jo from Breakwater Travel had been recommended to us. So it was really good to speak to someone who is an experienced traveller and has travelled recently to where you want to go. Jo listened to what kind of holiday we were looking for, what budget we had in mind, giving suggestions about where we could visit at that time of year which was November. It really took the stress from it all, from the flights, hotels and car hire everything was in place, all we had to do was just turn up. We flew to San Francisco which was fabulous, we travelled to Nappa, then down to Santa Barbara taking in Carmel and Passo Robles on the way, lastly staying in Beverly hills before dropping the car off and flying home from LA. All the hotels were wonderful and comfortable in lovely neighbourhoods. We definitely would not have found them on our own. A huge thank you to Jo for arranging everything!

Jo organised a month long honeymoon for us travelling South East Asia. Everything was so well organised and thought out with every little detail taken care of. Jo was so helpful and answered any questions that we had and would send us reminders to complete all travel information. We couldn’t recommend Jo highly enough- it was the holiday of a lifetime. We will definitely be booking with Jo again in the future!

First time using Breakwater travel and found the experience excellent. We went to Jo with a rough idea of a holiday and Jo helped to refine the idea to a great two week break in Malaysia. Using Breakwater took away the stress involved with picking hotels and activities. Jo organised flights, hotels and airport transfers. She ensured we had the necessary information and answered any queries promptly and effectively.

Been the 4th time we have used Breakwater services to plan and book our holiday. Keeps getting better.
Next one will be scaled down as no more kids to take so hoping to be a bit more willing to try new things.
As always each time we have our travel pack (in order of use) and it helps break up many mini journeys in such a way to reduce stress. Always there on the end of the phone or message and genuinely interested in how things are going.

We had a 2 week trip to Malaysia with Borneo being the focus. There was significant thought and care into meeting our needs and interests. The hotels/lodges were fantastic, everything went to plan and we had a thoroughly fabulous bucket list trip. We were blessed with the wildlife encounters. The people were welcoming and the guides all very knowledgable and nothing was too much trouble. Breakwater travel offered excellent knowledge of Malaysia and this was reflected in the itinerary put together for us. We were kept up to date with emails and were able to discuss thing on the phone leading up to the trip.Absolutely would recommend Breakwater travel to put together a Malaysia trip. We just got back from a two week trip in Abu Dhabi and Maldives with our 3 kids and it was just wonderful.

A very personal service from Jo, keeping us up to date with our paperwork etc. Two great hotels in Malaysia. Jo also stepped in rearranging flights via Doha following the cancellation of our flight to Heathrow re the sub station fire. Fantastic service!

We are three couples who have just returned from our trip to Morocco. this is our 3rd holiday booked by Jo and she does a fantastic job, she even made sure that the hotel was aware that my husband needed a gluten free diet, and as we are all in our 70s ground floor rooms were a bonus

Jo had created two trips for me in Peru and the latest in Malaysia. She tailored the experiences perfectly. On the trip everything was taken care of so no need to stress about transfers / trips etc. Her advice about locations and tips for the trip were super useful.

Just returned from a 2 week trip to the USA after driving the iconic Route 66. What can I say Jo had all the bases covered and all the bookings were spot on. If you are looking for a more personal touch to your next trip than Breakwater can do that for you.

On the recommendation of our daughter's friend we contacted Jo at Breakwater Travel to organise and book a "bucket list" trip to the Canadian Rockies, Vancouver and Alaska Cruise including the Rocky Mountaineer Railway Journey for my wife and I.
We specified places some places of interest / excursions we wanted to include with rough outlines on timings. Thanks to her organisation and prior experience in conjunction with Canadian Affair, we had an amazing holiday and everything went smoothly.
She kept us posted on all updates, confirmation of flights, hotels etc. as they happened prior to our departure. We met up with her in person prior to departure and she gave us a personal briefing on the individual timings, places of interest and must do's as well as handing over detailed travel schedules, tickets etc. which was really useful.
We gave feedback on our return with some suggestions on minor improvements to connecting times / schedules that she might find useful to bear in mind in future bookings for other clients undertaking a similar trip.
Overall, a great personal service and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Breakwater Travel for your travel plans.

Jo guided us through the booking process, making helpful suggestions and recommendations throughout. Nothing was too much trouble, even down to finding the best seats on our flights. We were really grateful when we contacted Jo part way through our holiday due to a mix up with one of our hotel reservations (problem was down to the hotel), Jo immediately got on the phone and sorted the issue out and even managed to get us some compensation! If you are looking for an agent who will do much more than just book flights and hotels, I would thoroughly recommend Breakwater Travel.

We asked Jo to organise a trip to Japan for us including a few days in Dubai en-route. Thanks to Jo's organisation, everything went smoothly and we had the most superb holiday and adventure. From the start Jo sat with us to work out what sort of holiday we wanted, where we would like to go and what we may want to see. Using her own experience she offered a few suggestions and even lent us her guidebook. She came back with a full and extremely detailed itinerary which covered everything we wanted to see and do. All the train tickets we would need for touring Japan were included as well as detailed notes on how to get to each hotel and where local sights were. She also gave us advice and assistance on obtaining all the relevant visas and other documentation we would need for the trip. Jo kept us updated on our flights when we were away, and even though things went really well, we knew we could contact her at any time if we had any problems. All in all, an excellent trip with fantastic service.
