I bought espresso machine that costs me $1000 plus tax.The coffee comes out so watery,I tried so many types of coffee,but nothing.I called customer service for trouble shoot the machine.we tried for 1 hour,no improvement(waste of time).I returned the machine.it took 1 month ,and 4 phone calls to try to get them refund me my money back.you need to wait for at 30 min for customer service to answer the phone.its just horrible.the whole experience is bad.i will never order from this website again.

I bought a refurbished Breville Express…

I bought a refurbished Breville Express on eBay and couldn't be happier with my decision. It arrived very quickly and was in perfect condition but the tamper was not included. I contacted Breville, and the tampering tool was immediately posted to me, along with complimentary coffee beans. I am amazed to find a company that is so focused on customer satisfaction and this deserves recognition.

Breville has the worst cusomer service…

Breville has the worst cusomer service I hve ever encountered. No matter what issue I contact them about they can't seem to resolve the problem. for instance I moved years ago yey I cannot update my address on their website. The city and state changes but the street address remains the same. Every time plave an order I have to remembet to correct the address or it gets shipped to a bogus address. I just cancelled my coffee subscription because 2 10-12 oz bage every two weeks was not enough. I replaced it with a 2lb bag subscriprion every two weeks and that pushed off the first delivery two weeks. They did this after I told them why I was changing my subscription and thet I needed the coffee shiped asap. When I tried to contact them through a ticket on their website all I get are errors when I try to send it that reffer to a field that is not on the form. If you want competence look elsewhere.

We have a Breville BOV650 Compact Smart…

We have a Breville BOV650 Compact Smart Toaster Oven and wanted to upgrade it to one of their Smart Oven Air Fryers. We had a couple of product questions so we called the customer service number posted on their website. EVERY TIME we are given a recording that due to high call volumes we need to get a callback in 2-3 hours. The first time we got a callback we could hear a recording that said the call could be recorded and then it disconnected us. In a couple days we tried again, got a callback and the agent said "they only handled Cappuccino machines" but if I could give us the questions we wanted answered, they could put us on hold and attempt to get them answered." We asked to be connected to someone that knew Smart Oven Air Fryers. They said yes and we were put into an endless hold with nobody answering the call.

Do not EVER order from this company. If you like a product, order from Amazon or somewhere you can return it if it goes wrong.

We ordered a product that turned out to be unusable. They refuse to let us return it because it's considered "an accessory" and there are no returns on parts and accessories. It's literally a standalone product.

A week of run around and "we consider that to be an accessory." So $40 down the drain.

Any company that acts like this is unlikely to honor a warranty either.

Never buy this garbage espresso machine. The service is the worst.
If you send to service center, they just replace some parts regardless of working properly, and then suggest you send you new nachine asking for deposit money. Finally they send a garbage with new packing.

The worst customer service

I have been, well I’ve tried to be in touch with breville customer service. I have an issue with a wavy tamp and water distribution on my oracle.
I have been put on hold, hung up on and promised call back, to no avail. All of these have happened several times.
Parts were sent out that did not work. I’ve been on several hour-long calls. Nothing has happened to resolve the issue.
I’m at my wits end. The expensive machine does not work. There’s no way to contact customer service. Emails and calls go unanswered.
I would look into a different brand. Breville is a HUGE disappointment.

Ordered Whisk Attachment (3). Oder received with correct invoice. Received Ring Burr Holder (3) instead. Called Breville. It took considerable interactions to correct the matter. Received an email that all was corrected and the correct items were being sent. Over two weeks later, the items have not arrived. When I called Breville again, I was placed on an extended hold and advised to leave a call back number - as if I had nothing else to do with my life.

Coasting on reputation

I purchased a Breville food processor some time ago, and I have been very pleased with its performance. A few weeks after I bought it, I noticed what appeared to be a chip taken out of the lid. It was very difficult to see, but I was able to photograph it for use in my correspondence with Breville. The company sent a replacement, but it had a similar chip in the exact same place. Altogether, I received FIVE replacement lids, and every one had that same imperfection. After the fifth, Breville refused to send another, which was fine with me. What I really wanted was an answer to my question: is this imperfection a consequence, somehow, of the production process? I was simply looking for reassurance that this is normal, and therefore wouldn’t get worse, shedding plastic into my food. I asked this question repeatedly, but never got an answer.

I decided to investigate myself, and went to Williams-Sonoma where I had purchased the machine. I checked their floor models, and all of them had the same imperfection in exactly the same place, although to varying degrees. The store manager took my information and said she’d have the Breville rep contact me. Since it’s been months with no word, I have to assume that’s not going to happen.

Another point unrelated to customer service: the manual for my food processor says parts may be put in the dishwasher “occasionally”. I don’t understand this. Are they dishwasher safe or not??

I believe Breville is coasting on their excellent reputation. While this product is well-designed, customer service is lacking.

Keep your fingers crossed if you buy an espresso maker

I purchased a Breville espresso machine around Xmas. The grinder stopped working 1.5 months afterwards. I had to show 2 times over a video call that indeed it did not work, even using coffee beans they had sent me as they claimed my beans were no good. Finally, they replaced the unit. The new unit did not reach the proper pressure with the same setting the previous unit handled. I was advised I needed to use the double bottom filter which really is for pre-ground coffee. It helps. I also had to adjust the temperature as the coffee was not as hot as the previous unit. Though the telephone support is professional, it is obvious they have lots of issues with this product and are trying to menage it best they can. I read similar comments regarding other brands. Maybe they are all made in the same Chinese facility; who knows? Value would be good if it were a lasting product. But I doubt these machines will withstand the test of time. Will keep my fingers crossed.

Breville’s customer support is…bad

Breville’s customer support is terrible, especially considering the high cost of their products. Their service does not match the premium price they charge. I ordered a replacement whisk for their milk foaming machine, and although the shipping label was created three days ago, the package has yet to leave their warehouse.

breville coffee maker

Hi, good afternoon, my name is Sônia Almeida, I contacted Breville a month ago, because I have had a Breville the Barista coffee maker for a year and two months, at the time I paid $740 dollars, and I really think it is quite expensive to break down so quickly. I contacted them by email saying that my coffee maker is defective, I wanted to know if it would be possible for them to recommend a place to check the problem, they asked if I was interested in receiving the work for repairs, that I would just have to send the coffee maker to them, I did not ask for a new coffee maker, I just wanted repairs for my coffee maker, and Breville's custom service simply blocked me, and now I will simply have to throw my coffee maker in the trash, because it simply does not work, and there is no way for me to go to the store where I bought it (Bed Bath Beyond) because where I live in NJ that store has already closed!! A lack of respect for the consumer, super disappointed!!!

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. I bought a die cast toaster for 150.00 and then they shipped it 3 days later than they said and then it never made it to me but turned around and went back to them. They never notified me and I had to figure it out. That was on 1/4/25. I called had to wait 3 hours for a callback and asked for a refund since they already had the toaster which they confirmed. I called again on the 10th and had to wait again for a callback. They said the requested a refund. Called again on the 13th, had to wait again for a callback. Still no refund. Now they say the escalated it. Unbelieveable. HORRIBLE experience. They don't allow a review on their site. Imagine that.

Poor customer support for faulty products : appliances are great until…

Breville appliances are great until they aren’t. I bought an oracle touch espresso machine 2 years ago and it recently started overheating and tripping the electrical outlet. It was an absolute nightmare trying to get any help from customer service. You can’t just talk to someone and get help. It takes hours to get a return call from what sounds like somewhere in Australia. There is a communication barrier and they never seem to understand what you are saying or have the answers to your questions. You are then routed to an email where it takes days for a response and even then they still don’t resolve your problem. Never again will I buy a breville product for poor customer service issues alone. It’s not acceptable to pay over $2000 USD for a product that breaks after 2 years and then no customer support.

I placed an order (Order No: 51339582) for a coffee machine 10 days ago, and my experience has been incredibly frustrating. I have not received any shipping confirmation or updates, and the UPS tracking number provided shows that my package has yet to be picked up.

Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service via phone and their online chat, I have received no response. It’s disheartening to see a company continue to sell products while struggling to fulfill existing orders and lacking communication with customers.

This lack of service is unacceptable. The phone support is non-responsive, and the chat feature seems to be offline, leaving me without any way to resolve this issue.

If there are issues with order fulfillment, the company should reconsider selling on their website until they can properly manage their orders.

best kitchen line around

this company far exceeded my expectations. the kitchen products are not only gorgeous to look at, but work wonderfully. i’ve purchased the large (bagel) toaster, kettle, barista pro espresso machine and 3-1 microwave. it was quite the splurge for us, but no regrets. i ran into an issue with the espresso machine and breville helped me fix it. they are truly a classy company and stands behind their products. breville customer for life!

Disappointing Service and Product Reliability from Breville

I wish to share my disappointing experience with Breville after purchasing their One Touch Espresso Machine from Williams Sonoma for $1,619.95 in January 2024. Despite the high price, both the product and the subsequent customer service failed to meet expectations.

Shortly after purchase, the machine malfunctioned. The initial customer service response was promising; they facilitated a return for a replacement. However, I was soon informed that the replacement was delayed due to stock issues—a critical detail that was initially omitted.

My ordeal continued with further miscommunications and unmet promises. I was given the option to switch colors, wait indefinitely, or accept a store credit that unexpectedly did not cover the full amount paid. Moreover, an attempt to add an extended warranty was mishandled, and later attempts to resolve taxation errors on a new quote were met with accusations of dishonesty from their team.

Throughout this frustrating process, I have also emailed Breville’s corporate office seeking resolution and have yet to receive any response. As of now, it has been over a month without any satisfactory resolution or adequate explanation from Breville.

This experience has revealed significant flaws in Breville’s customer service. Potential buyers should be wary of the support they might receive post-purchase. I am now exploring other options, including seeking assistance from consumer rights groups.

Broke, sent in, and now blame me for loss package

Bought my machine from Amazon in June 2022 and my machine didn't even last a year before I was told to send it in April 2023. They never contacted me that my machine wasn't sent or that it was lost. When I called in October 2023 they said they would look into it. Now February 2024 and after me having to contact them and them never contacting me they said my receipt from UPS from April 2023 wasn't enough proof I sent it to them with their label and their shipping program through UPS. Now they won't replace or do anything about the order. I can not make a claim for ups which they say is who I have to contact because I was not the original sender and the tracking number is too old.

Absolute worst customer experience

Absolute worst customer experience. Have been on the phone with them 4 times. Each time they assure me someone will call me back right away as they have to escalate my case. Crickets. And note that I purchased directly from Breville. To top it off, all emails remain unanswered - and their customer portal is unmanned. Who runs a consumer-facing business like this in this day and age??

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE- DO NOT BUY

I have had a Barista Express for several years that has worked fine until 6-9 months ago and then the start button began to malfunction on occasion. Finally after MONTHS of trying to figure out the problem we sent the machine in for a scheduled inspection.
We received an email that our machine could not be repaired and offered a 35% discount on a new one.
We received our old machine back, but now it doesn't work AT ALL so we had to toss it.
I sent an email a week ago asking how to purchase a new machine with the offered discount and I have heard NOTHING! I even sent a follow up email 2 days later and still have not heard from anyone.
I don't understand how such a large brand can conduct business as they do. My advice is to avoid them.
