Terrible experience

Terrible experience.
Item was very poor quality so my husband requested entitled refund. They have so far ignored 7 email requests to do so and keep just offering a % refund, while refusing to send the address of where to return to or an email to complain to. Will be going via the credit card company and disputing the payment as clearly a scam. Their website mentions 5* trustpilot- these aren’t their reviews but those of a removal company with the same name- beware. Avoid

Never ever use this company

Never ever use this company. They are based over seas without this being known. Items never arrived and they are ignoring all correspondence. Since November I have emailed them weekly - as I would like a refund for goods never received and they do not respond to anything at all!

If I was deperate for money

If I was deperate for money I would be extremely upset but after dozens of emails back and forth I find myself in a state of amusing puzzlement.
This company in China is a scam site in my opinion. In theiir returns policy they explain that a tracking reference is a suggestion yet in every email they say that it is a requirement. I think that they have email reply templates and just rotate them depending on the mesage they want to convey and that message depends on what we say in our email.
As mentiioned in several one star reviews, they have an office in the UK (Harrogate) and the main office is in the Netherlands, neither of which are true.
In my case Idecided that £20 postage was already too much to pay and I can't imagine how much a tracker would have cost. I posted my return 13 weeks ago yet they continue to say that without a tracking, they will not refund me. Not a word about checking in the warehouse to see if my order had arrived. I see in other such review sites they are shown as a scam site. I wonder? I thought of having a chat with the Chinese Embassy/Consulate to see if they are known as scammers. I also wondered if a number of those complaining of losing money might get together with me and to comtact the Embassy/Comsulate. Any thoughts?

Received the suit - not burgundy - red like santa

Received the suit - burgundy on the site - red and small size in real life, we even measured the size and went and ordered slightly bigger...short sleeves..I had to have an exchange of emails to prove that the suit is wrong, offered 20% refund!!! going to send it back and will be asking for a full refund!!! absolutely scam site - do not touch it! material is cheap and thin

Very happy with new sweater

Very happy with new sweater, was not cheap, took a long time to arrive (about three weeks) and I had given up hope (especially having read the company's poor reviews), but sweater arrived today and I am very pleased with it. Is just as described and pictured so this is at least one good review ! Thank you.

Ordered mid Nov still not received…

Ordered mid Nov still not received jumper. When contact them they said lost in transit. Asked for refund. They refused as policy to send repeat. Still not received Doubt I will. Have lost 39 pounds. Do not use this site! Awful

Do not use this company. ordered a ‘cashmere’ jumper 3 Nov…

I ordered a ‘cashmere’ jumper online on 3 Nov which finally arrived on 18 Nov. Cashmere? Absolutely not. Jumper is of very poor quality, with flaws, I would guess man-made fibres as it has no label on it whatsoever. Meant to be a size small and it’s more medium/large. There is an Eastern Europe address within the small print so I’m guessing that a return would be at my own expense. Complete waste of £39.99.

Britique-Lane United Kingdom seems to be a 'scam' website - so beware!

I placed my order online via the Britique-Lane United Kingdom website on 8 November 2024.
Sp Britique-Lane took my £39.95 almost immediately.
However, I have not yet received any order confirmation....and obviously not received my jumper either!
Their support line UK contact phone number (taken from their website) +44 7418 364757 is unobtainable.
They have not responded to my emails which I sent to their support address support@britique-lane
Unfortunately, I paid via my bank (as opposed to a credit card.) I HAVE reported Britique-Lane as a potential scam - so that other would-be purchasers might be warned.
Their website is likely to be a scam - and I would strongly suggest that you do not purchase anything from the site.

Update on Britique Lane.
Following my last review on this dreadful company, they came back to me and offered to order a smaller size of jumper at the cost of 9.90 Euros or get a 20% refund of the purchase price.

I pointed out that in Scotland, we don't use Euros!!! Also, I informed them that I was entitled to a full refund on return of the item, according to my consumer rights. I told them that I was prepared to pay the cost of a return to a UK address.

Guess what? The return address was in China and I was told that I would be responsible for full postage with tracking. They wouldn't send me a return label. Of course, they wouldn't. They don't do any labels whatsoever, as reported on my previous review. It should be pointed out that nowhere on their website is China even mentioned. What a surprise!

More emails ensued and I was eventually offered a 25% refund, which I have accepted, because I have spent too much of my precious time and energy on this disgraceful company who think they have the right to ignore EU and UK consumer regulations according to labelling and material content (allegedly).

They also told me that "as a gesture of goodwill", I could keep the jumper. I think you could have heard me laughing in the next street. Keep the jumper that had no labels on it whatsoever telling me what it was made of, was too big, and the material would bring you out in a rash because it was so itchy. The word 'cashmere' could never be attributed to this garment. Again, it was advertised online as a jumper that contained cashmere.

As I said before; buyer beware.

I am not finished with this company. I intend to report them to the appropriate authorities, who will, hopefully, take action.

Britique Lane

Britique Lane. Do not use this company it is a complete rip off. I bought a dress for £39.95 plus £2.50 postage from Britique Lane.
The dress was of poor quality and so I tried to return it, assuming return postage would be £2.50.How wrong can you be?
I buy most things online these days and returns are often free or a reasonable postal rate.
The return postal cost of this Dress was £22! To exchange the dress for another an extra £9.90. In the end I had to settle for a partial return of £8.49. Please don’t do what I did - read the small print first. I will never use this company again.
