Everything was as described online. We had received the fabric swatches.
Loved the colour. It looks very good in situ. Highly recommended.

I had never heard of British beds direct before but liked the choices of designs and the textile options. Material was true to description and the bed was nicely made and very sturdy. Very happy with my purchase. I didn’t realise the beds are made after ordering, I suppose this is why they can only provide an estimate of number of weeks/days for delivery.

Buying beds online is a nightmare, first bed purchased was of cheap quality, second on amazon returned,
This purchase is good and solid, well constructed and more than happy,
Fabric thick material and faultless in construction,
Communication was pleasant and samples sent without hesitation,
I put a delay on delivery due to work commitments and they held back on delivery until suitable,
Delivery was good, I live in an old cottage where getting a bed in is so difficult and the gaps are so tight,
They failed to get the bed to the room of choice, but to be fair they tried and gave it their best, was happy with that,
We did get the bed in ourselves but it took quite a while and don't expect anyone to have that much time,
We are really happy with the bed and would not hesitate in giving anyone reading this review, that the product we recieved was of 5+ star quality,

I was going around and around in circles looking for an ottoman bed but most appeared to be poor quality.

A friend referred me to British Beds Direct based on her own experience. It took about 10 days to be made and delivered - based on the colour I chose.

I am SUPER impressed. It is really good quality and sturdy. The based has tons of space (which I need living in a small rental).

This base was more than others but I'd highly recommend it as it is made to last - not fall apart in a few months like some of the others I saw online.

I'd highly recommend buying from British Beds Direct.

Good customer service, bed delivered promptly. Can’t fault the Eleanor ottoman bed. Good quality and sturdy. The only niggle is the headboard where fabric linear pattern wasn’t in line with the horizontal edge which made me think it’s skewed when hubby installed it. My son doesn’t mind though🤣

Delivery was good let us know when they would arrive and put the bed in the room we wanted ,well packaged. Great looking and sturdy bed

My beautiful, sumptuous Spencer super king size bed in opulence teal not only looks magnificent but is so comfortable on the micropocket memory foam mattress. I also couldn't believe the mattress arrived rolled up, so easy to fit it into my stairwell, which I thought might be a problem. The quality is very good and was easy to assemble. Unfortunately, the spacer for the slats and spanner were missing, but we had the means to manage. The guys who delivered were friendly, helpful and phoned 40 mins before arriving. They did make my cream stair carpet a bit mucky. I didn't put anything down to protect as it would have caused a trip hazard, being very twisting. It would be good if they could have used plastic shoes covers. That aside, I am thoroughly delighted with the bed and would highly recommend.

The bed is fantastic quality. We are so pleased.
My only complaint was the delivery drivers language. His said, “the gypsy is here, f hell I’ve been working all day, you’re the last drop.” I also had to insist he take away the rubbish as I had paid for that as an extra. He told me that he will be made to pay for it because it’s not in the invoice. I showed him my email and insisted he take it away. He did this without further issues. To be honest I just wanted him out of my house. I am glad my husband was home because I did feel uncomfortable.

One for the grandkids …bit of a mess. So there were no instructions attached, which wouldn't have been that important, except half of the bed arrived with no nuts inserted for the casters to be attached …meaning they had to send me out nuts to hammer them in myself😂 only problem was not all the holes were there, so I had to drill a couple of holes in the corners for me to insert the nuts! I wonder if I now qualify as a bed manufacturer?

Don’t normally leave reviews but had to on this occasion. Only reason they don’t get 0 star is cos the delivery drivers were great and in all fairness they sent the parts I needed ASAP with a video on how to hammer them in lol. I don’t recall ever actually getting an apology for any of the inconvenience or even an offer they would just pick up the bed and correct the mistakes themselves. I’m sure I was just unlucky.

Was expecting a flimsy flatpack due to the price, but the blanket box is actually a heavy solid piece of furniture. I'm so glad I decided to go for it :-)

Really good, I got the bed on sale which was a bonus but we were in the process of moving house, so they were able to help by holding onto the bed and delivering it a month later once we were moved. They were happy to help and really quick to get this sorted! The delivery was on time and we love the bed.

Ordered a new bed base from British Beds which required pickup and disposal of the old bed, we had good communication through out the whole process and the two guys who came to deliver were very good nothing was too much trouble, polite and careful when taking the bed upstairs, the quality of the new bed is very good just what we expected wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

This is a really lovely bed. It was delivered quickly and we’ve slept better since it arrived. Headboard is absolutely gorgeous and feels heavy and high quality.

We are very pleased and happy with our beds from British Beds ,we had a fault with one bed and they were vert quickly dealt with it ,no issues or waiting they just sorted it out .Would give 10 stars and no problem with buying from them again .
