INWA Nordic Walking Instructor course was excellent. Catherine is a terrific trainer & very knowledgeable and smart. Instruction was practical, detailed and fun!

I have undertaken training with a variety of professional training organisations over the years and can honestly say that British Nordic Walking is the top of the ladder when it comes to quality of training, support, communication, and ethics. The small team are genuinely committed to the development of Nordic Walking within the UK, and do not tie their instuctors into restrictive contracts or their own CPD courses. I am more than happy to renew my instructor membership

Recently, took part in the British Nordic Walking course raising awareness in supporting access to Nordic Walking to people with Parkinsonism and/or physical difficulties. It was an excellent course, very well presented, with examples linked to practise throughout the 3 hours. This helped me stay focused and raised my understanding, awareness and confidence in supporting this client group in the future. Thank you

I just completed the CPD course for instructors wishing to teach Nordic Walking to people living with Parkinson’s.
I found the course to be interesting and informative, with many practical tips, despite the course being online. It was 3 hours well spent with Brad and was lovely to meet other NW instructors.

I participated in the Nordic walking for Parkinson’s CPD course recently. The course content was very interesting and I felt that it was three hours very well spent. The delivery was excellent and there were plenty of opportunities for participants to ask questions. It was also good to meet the course leader and other instructors ‘virtually’.
I know that we’re all looking forward to seeing people properly again after Covid, but hope that some zoom courses would still be on offer for those of us who live a long way from the centres.

Best decision I ever made was to join British Nordic Walking CIC (Community Interest Company). Not only do I continue to benefit from the great expert support and resources, I am part of a ever growing network of health and wellbeing professionals within the industry. I see all the critically important projects and joint initiatives, they support such as AgeUK, LimbPower, TheFore Parkinson’s UK and etc. There is a team of national trainers who continue (in these challenging times) to inspire and share on their practical support. With their guidance, I gain such valuable experience and positiveness. Then I go on and share on my enthusiasm within our community of nordic walkers here in the Bedfordshire Countryside. In lockdown 3, I have just completed two CPD courses acquiring new skills and more knowledge. Very proud to be part of such a positive “Community of nordic walking instructors 🙌🏼“

British Nordic walking are the only company that you need to use for Nordic walking here in the U.K. If it's training or advice that you need, I have always found BNW only willing to offer their help. Their national instructors are so friendly, and their courses are of such a high quality. Being the only INWA approved training provider for the U.K, I know that I am getting a quality and progressive service, that is accredited worldwide.

Not having had experience of a BNW CPD sessions for some years, this was a considerable improvement on the previously inadequate course. Well-prepared, presented & delivered with enough opportunity for dialogue rather than, as previously, too didactic with the pressure of delivering too much content in the time allowed. Participants' contributions were respected on equal terms. It provided some new knowledge and insights and raise plenty more questions ...
