My dog suffers from seasonal allergies and I dont want him to have apoquel or cytopoint . I tried buggerlugs oatmeal shampoo and WOW, what a difference it's made to his skin in just one week.
Last week his belly was red and sore. This week his skin looks really good. No redness or sore patches. I initially bathed him all over and now just dilute some 9f the shampoo and bathe his belly with a flannel and then rlnse it off. Amazing results. Highly recommend.

I have been a regular purchaser of Bugalug products, and 6 weeks ago purchased 3 tubs of their pre and probiotic chews from Pets at Home, hoping specifically that it would help with tear stain issue with my Labrador.

Six weeks on and having followed the feeding guidelines, there has been no visible change to the tear stain condition..I cant comment on other supposed benefits of the chews, but have noticed no external changes in terms of other benefits these chews provide.

I just wanted to post this to make dog owners aware, that you need to do your research when buying this sort of product, especially given the price, that you choose a one that meets your needs, especially if its related to tear stain issues.

Whilst I purchase a number of products from Bugalugs, I wont be purchasing this item in future.

I’m extremely impressed with the red Bugalugs flea shampoo. Honestly, it performed better than half the humans I’ve hired for jobs.

My dog had fleas — not just “a few,” but a full‑scale biblical infestation. I’m talking fleas with tenancy agreements, fleas paying council tax, fleas forming a neighbourhood watch. No idea where they came from, but they clearly liked the place more than I did.

Every time I washed my dog with this shampoo, the fleas died instantly and floated to the top like tiny, defeated villains. It was like watching a nature documentary narrated by David Attenborough after three espressos.

But because my property was basically the Flea Hilton, he’d be flea‑free for a week… then boom, they’d be back, like they’d just returned from a spa weekend.

Even the flea treatments were like, “Mate, you’re on your own.”

So I did what the internet said: vacate the property for 3–4 months so the little monsters could starve to death. Lovely. Nothing like abandoning your home so insects can perish in peace.

But here’s the thing — during that whole period, Bugalugs kept my dog consistently flea‑free. Every wash, same result: dead fleas, clean dog, victory.

Came back months later…
No more fleas. All gone. All dead.
The shampoo had been holding the line the entire time like a tiny plant‑based superhero.

If you want something that actually works — not “in theory,” not “with regular use,” but right now, immediately, in front of your eyes — this is the stuff.

Absolutely excellent products for pets. I initially bought the leave in shampoo for my cats and WOW they smell amazing! I have just purchased the comb and antiseptic spray as one has Dermatitis. I would highly recommend these products & are not tested on animals but humans :)

Just started to use various bugalugs products for my 9 year old dog woody, he itches so I got the aloe gel, salmon oil for his food and also the teeth solution for his water, the itching already has eased and the quality of the products is exceptional. I myself work for a pet company and the packaging is amazing and the story behind the brand. Bugalugs has been a life saver for our golden retriever. She has a sensitive stomach and can get quite dry hair and skin but with the help of Bugalugs grooming and health care products it has improved massively.
