Armando! Armando is what made our experience great!

Long story but we had to return a considerable order of wood. Armando was extremely helpful and communicative from the beginning through the entire process. It is not always easy to deal with online purchases especially when things don't go exactly as planned but Armando made it as easy as possible.
We thank BuildDirect for honoring their guarantee and Armando facilitating the entire process.

Armando at build direct excels in customer service. I ordered wood flooring years ago from build direct, and now I have some moisture damage. Armando informed me the wood was discontinued, but he contacted the manufacturer on my behalf. The good news is they still have the wood in stock. The bad news is the manufacturer switched to a click lock from a tongue and groove.

Armando demonstrated integrity, instead of just trying to make the sale, and stated that he didn’t think the two versions would be compatible, but he was nice enough to send a sample to me so my installer could make a final determination.

I am hoping that Armando’s management takes note of this review, as the level of customer service demonstrated by Armando is extremely rare in any industry today.

I look forward to following up with Armando and placing the order if my installer can make the wood floor work. Thank you again Armando! Outstanding job!

I had limited knowledge on my project needs and the staff at build direct were most helpful and knowledgeable. Not only great prices, but awesome support!!!

This is the second project on which I have dealt with BuildDirect. Mila is an absolute gem. She was able to answer all of my questions in the selection of a replacement floor for our basement. Her winning personality shone through over the telephone lines from Seattle to New Jersey. The product arrived as promised and is currently being installed. It looks gorgeous, Mila, and I am sure that we will derive many years of pleasure. Merci mille fois!

I would like to provide you all with my review of the product after it has been installed for a long time. We bought the Lamton Laminate in Dec 2016 and installed it in January. We used a protective water barrier first. Now after 6 years it is lifting and peeling in many places. It is also wearing in areas that do no have a lot of traffic. I was under the impression that this flooring would last a little longer than 6 years! I didn't realize it at the time but I just searched everywhere on this site for a warranty and could not find it. If you decide to purchase, don't do it based on the low price! Now I have to install a new floor! The price is very expensive now! Good look to all with your 30 day limited warranty! Just trying to warn you!

The 30 warranty was on my receipt so I didn't bother sending pictures as I thought it would be a mute point. I will take photos and send them to the email you provided. Thank you.

Had a great support experience with Anastasiia Zalavina. She was super helpful, responsive and solved my issue quickly.

Working with Mila was a seamless, exceptional process. She helped me find the right samples and ultimately the right flooring for my new build! I’ve recommended her to so many of my friends and even my GC. She makes everything easy. I will continue to buy from Build Direct because of her! Delivery came quickly and I cannot wait to install these floors!

Our representative, Mila Quinn, was awesome. Her level of service rivals any high end flooring company in NYC. Her technical ability is strong and really focuses on the customer. My complaint is related to logistics. It took several attempts to deliver the floors and the service was horrible. If the delivery can get fixed, I would give 5 stars. If not, it will be a problem.

After looking all around for the flooring that I wanted I was given build direct and in the process I got in touch with Justine. After explaining to her what flooring I wanted, she told me that she would send out samples for me to look at. I got them in a timely matter. After looking at them the texture was not what I I already installed in my house. No fault of her. I called her and told her what I found out. Justine is very helpful in so many ways. I would recommend build direct anytime. Thanks again Justine.

I had to find some product for a repair to match an existing floor installed by another contractor. I spoke with Armando was amazing, helped me find the exact matching flooring. I have bought a lot of products from BuildDirect though this was a small order, Armando took the time to get it perfect. The word "service" finds true meaning in the way Armando assists me before, during, and after the sale.

Recently purchased premium vinyl flooring. I had a professional installer with 15 years experience to install the flooring. He also guarantees his work for 1 year. He started laying the flooring and it was chipping and the seams were popping up. He said this is not a good product and could not guarantee his work. I sent an email to support and this was part of their response: The tongue on all click-lock products is very fragile, pieces can be broken off using just your fingers. It is only once the tongue and groove are locked into place that it is strong. After all, the planks are just 7mm thick overall, the click system itself is thinner than this.
Now they will not refund due to there 30 day policy. Plus they are saying it was installed incorrectly. I will never recommend this company and will never purchase from them again.

Initially I was prepared to issue BuildDirect a one star rating; however once I spoke with Justine Rudolph, my opinion changed. I had ordered flooring to match the existing flooring in my living/ dining room area. Luckily, BuildDirect had more of the same style/ color/ size in stock so I ordered more.
When the shipment arrived it wasn’t even the right order. Delay # 1. And when the correct shipment arrived, the color was not the same (which I acknowledge can happen when you get flooring from another lot), but the width of the flooring planks, advertised as 5” (the original wood width) was 4.75” wide. Needless to say, that would have posed an installation problem as the pieces would not line up. The solution- install transition pieces between the original and new flooring. Not ideal, but I had to install the flooring due to a time constraint.
Throughout the process, Justine was responsive and professional.
I do like the product. Just wish the website had the accurate size and color depicted in the photos. And samples would have also been helpful, but the website stated they were not available.

Excellent service throughout my search for wood flooring. I found just the right wood floors for my new home and am very excited about the end result!

I ordered engineered wood flooring from Justin Rudolph on Monday 10/3/22 and on Thursday saw that the item was now on sale at a 24% discount from what I paid. I was very upset to say the least and contacted Justin wanting to cancel the order. Justin went to management and was able to pursuad management to approve giving me the promotional price, saving me $746.00. I thank Justin for the overall great customer service and always prompt response to my numerous emails. Great employee and honorable company. One very satisfied customer was the end result.

We have ordered flooring here twice. The flooring is top notch with a side of excellent customer service.
We had a flood in our home, not one piece of this flooring buckled just the press wood underneath it. This is why I'm back for more, to replace what contractors ripped out.
You won't be disappointed.

I had a very positive experience buying 1000 sq ft of hardwood flooring from BuildDirect. I was a little hesitant at first as I do not usually make large purchases online - I like to see product in person. I'm happy I went ahead with the purchase. My transaction was handled by Mila and I couldn't be happier with how smoothly everything went. She was very gracious with the samples sent all the way through the final order. Excellent communication all the way. The flooring looks great -- better than it looks online -- is is high quality. All at a great price!

AnastasiiaZalavina was truly awesome. She took our order and was able to have both the floor and T molding arrive on the same day, which was the day we recorded our new house. She worked with the carrier to make it happen and followed up every step of the way to ensure the delivery was made on the day we needed it. She communicated the status of our order daily, which we found very refreshing customer service. The Flooring arrived in excellent condition and looking forward to its installation tomorrow. Great employee for Builddirect.

Mila is among the best customer service reps I've ever worked with, for anything! Not only does she have a wonderful personality that is so helpful and easy to work with. She's also knowledgeable about the products, how to use them, and other products that they're compatible with. She helped me get the flooring that I wanted last year. It was discontinued at the time but another customer had returned a large order of it, which made it possible for me to buy it with Mila's help.

Fast forward to present day. Mila also helped me find a compatible stair nose with the closest matching color from a different product line, since the stair nose wasn't available from the same product line. With so many unfortunate and stressful delays in construction, we were on a tight schedule to get the stair noses, and Mila came through for us by rushing the order and getting it shipped to us fast. I'm truly grateful for Mila's help and support through this important part of the home remodeling project. 🙏🙏🙏
