Bulbsquare

I ordered some ceiling light fixtures from Bulbsquare on December 31 2025 and did not receive the lights until February 10th 2026. When I received the lights the remote had Chinese symbols, they did not meet US standard electrical codes, and there wasn't any information. Customer service was lousy. Luckily for me I had paid with PayPal. I started a dispute with PayPal and received my money back. Thank you PayPal!

Terrible

Terrible. Spent $600 on a light fixture. After my electrician spent 2h putting it together it didn’t turn on. The bulbs have lead and mercury in them. How this company is allowed to sell to consumers in the US upsets me. Do NOT buy from here. I wish we read the reviews before purchasing from them. Unfortunately they advertise so well. Scam.

Fraud warning - do NOT buy from BulbSquare

Paid AUD600 for bookshelves 8th December 2025 and the $16 insurance premium for 'worry free shipping'. Items not received as of 15th Feb 2026 but the tracking website reports the items to have been deleivered.
After 20+ emails and attempts to gain a refund over the insurance website known as "Seel". I have received a $5 reimbursement of the insurance premium. I'm clearly communicating with criminals, idiots or robots - certainly a mix of all 3 is not unlikely. Lengthy responses by email are contradictory, giving false tracking information, insincere, and probably AI generated, then signed off with Anglo first names and caucasian 'customer (un)support photos'. This is a criminal venture - do not go near it.
I will update this review if this purchase problem is resolved and if I receive a genuine apology.

BulbSquare Delivers When It Comes To Customer Service

Recently I purchased a modern minimalist square rectangular rubberwood dining chair with armrests and cotton-linen backrest from BulbSquare.
My needs were quite specific - the chair needed to be strong, comfortable, easy to sit down and stand up, and most importantly be stable. Also, the timber colour and seat covering to complement existing dining room furniture.
Not an easy task when selecting online from photographs. The BulbSquare team assisted me in this regard.
I particularly appreciated the time and effort they devoted to enable my expectations to be met. Moreover, they kept me informed throughout the purchase process.
Well done team. Great customer service!

Zero customer service

This is really concerning as I paid over 300 usd for my order #B55757 which was a chandelier. It has been over 2 weeks with no response to multiple emails I sent asking when it will be shipped. I am very upset seeing these reviews and think I have been scammed.

Water Ripple Effect Lighting - Looks great in Lounge room !

Purchased the white light water ripple effect lighting for Lounge room. Exactly as described, the lighting works and looks great behind the lounge suite. Item arrived to Australia in just over 2 weeks and was well protected inside the cardboard box. Used the Remote Instructions link on the website product page to work out how to pair it with the lighting and that worked a treat. I did have to purchase a UK to Australia adapter and the remote takes 2 x AAA batteries. Really happy with the purchase. Thanks Bulbsquare team !

If I could give a zero rating I would. How they mislead the number of items you are ordering is borderline fraud. They list undercounter lights as a set. One would think because they show 3 lights on advertisements, each set has 3 lights. Nope. 1 light in each " set". Never again

I’ve bought over six of there lights…

I’ve bought over six of there lights mainly because can’t find any site with same. Been happy with them though have had to do some minor reassembly because of poor quality control. There definitely a shady mob. The price they initially advertise will increase once you want more detail. Delivery times are so slow there another level. Mine took months with their free delivery offer. There exact same light can be listed under a different name with different prices.

Lack of communicatiuon to follow-up and broken promises to get to me with status update. Once you report an issue then they don't respond at all.

Product damaged and electrics don’t look safe

The updates on tracking were nice to have . But the product itself when it arrived was awful . The electrics look like they’ve been chewed and the structure itself is cracked, bent and scratched . Very frustrating. Currently waiting to see if they will refund me.

I ordered a Tiffany lamp for my…

I ordered a Tiffany lamp for my daughter in law for Christmas on 11/27/25. Well Christmas is over and still no lamp even after paying $95.00 extra for shipping in 10-15 days. Bulbsquare customer service says it's been sent to FedEx. FedEx said the lable was created but they have never received the lamp and as soon as they do it'll be shipped. Never ever will I order from Bulb square again. Now let's see how long it'll take to get my money back!! Wish me luck!!

Horrible Experience - Do NOT purchase anything from Bulb Square

I purchased a light fixture from Bulb Square recently. It was the worst product and service I have ever had. The shipment took twice as long to receive as initially stated. Due to the delay, I was told I was going to get a credit of 10% on purchase price - that did not happen. Once received, the light fixture had no assembly instructions. After multiple emails and attempts at live chat (was always offline), the only instructions I received were two sentences long and instructed me to connect two wires. Completely useless. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Bulbsquare - not in stock? Poor communication.

I ordered a chair, and purchsed the "Worry Free Purchase protection". Shipping time was stated 25-30 days, I would be notified as soon as it was shipped. 30 days, still not shipped.
EDIT: the company said their supplier wasn't able to send the chair, and they will be refunding my money.

Ordered 3-sconce lights ~$300…

I ordered 3-sconce lights approx &300. Bulb square claimed it shipped and provided a tracking link but the link has suddenly vanished. B4 it vanished, it showed it was enroute from China and supposedly made several stops in the US. However, everything went silent. The product was ordered 9/30 nearly 6-weeks ago...they are a scam...BEWARE and run away

Don’t waist your time and money. First we ordered some lights to go over…

First we ordered some lights to go over our kitchen table. They were back ordered because of Chinese new year but then came 90 days later and it was the wrong model. They sent us the right model and didn’t ask for the wrong model back. Ok. The LED lights are cheep and flickering which drives me crazy. I can’t put regular bulb because the lights will catch on fire as my electrician says.
In the mean time we ordered 3 pendants lights for our kitchen island. First they were back ordered, again months. Then they came but it was the wrong model and one was broken. They sent us tree more of the right model but two were broken. They gave us a 20% discount and sent tree more lamps without the wiring. Now it’s been 9 months of going back and forth and there final answers was that I had all the parts to put them back together. I had to figure out how to transfer the wiring from my broken lamps to my new unbroken pendant ones.
After many emails they still didn’t want to help us fix the problem. So I had to figure out how to wire the pendant lamps. Good thing I didn’t trow away all the broken lamps and I was able to salvage tree of them.
I’m so frustrated with that company it’s not even funny.
On top of it the led lights flickers and I can’t dim them without making it worse.
I tried to put conventional lights in it but it won’t work.
In short, stay away from that company at all cost.
It’s a huge waste of time and money.
