I highly discourage anyone from buying these

I hope I have enough space to express how dissatisfied we are with cabinets to go. We got the Shaker-style cabinets installed in November '25. The salesman/"designer" that helped us actually ghosted us after the sale. He would not return our multiple calls and emails. He sold us spacer wood as crown and so when we returned it, the manager was going to charge us a 20% restocking fee until he realized that it wasn't crown then waved the fee (so that was good). We ordered 42" cabinets, he sold us a spice rack for a 12" wall cabinet (which came in weeks after the cabinets were installed because he didn't order it). After installation, we discovered it was a 30" spice rack for they didn't make them for 42" cabinets. So, we had to deal with the instability of the spice rack, in fact the oil spritzer fell out and shattered the glass top of our two-month-old stove, so now we need to order a new stovetop. Needless to say, we're going to put the shelves back in 12" cabinet and try to figure out the door handle, etc. but there are no supports for the shelves in the box so we have to get more of those. Also, before the countertop was even installed in January, there were dents and scuffs on the cabinets already, some due to the rubber stoppers actually leaving an imprint in the wood (cheap). The countertop is off because the base cabinet is uneven. We had 30" cabinets, went to 42" thinking we'd have more space but it actually seems to be less space. It's just been one thing after another it seems with these cabinets. I'd highly discourage anyone from buying them, even with the 30%-40% off deals - not worth it. Unless you're flipping a house, I guess. I've discouraged three possibly four people from using them already. I will continue.
I wish I had my old kitchen back! :(

severely flawed installation

severely flawed installation. The first install was so uneven it had to be completely redone, which caused damage to freshly painted walls and left me with visible countertop and backsplash gaps, a misaligned refrigerator panel, and a kitchen that looks unfinished. The installers they use get paid by the job, they rush, finish in 1 day and get out of there. It’s the worst “work” I have ever seen. This was the most expensive and time consuming mistake of our entire renovation.

Customer service made the situation worse. Megan at the store was rude, dismissive, not solution oriented, and repeatedly blamed the customer instead of taking ownership of clearly documented installation failures. Measurements were incorrect, communication was horrific. Megan treats you like you should know how to design a kitchen and that you do it every day. She offers zero help and guidance. I had to call corporate to escalate the situation to have a second installer fix the kitchen which still was not properly corrected due to how terrible the first installers work was. Corporate refused to give me any sort of concession or discount.

I honored my contract and paid on time. Cabinets To Go did not deliver professional installation, quality control, or accountability.
Choose another company, I promise if you have an issue with this company they will not make it right. They will leave you with a kitchen that looks like it was done by a do it yourself homeowner.

I recently when to Home Depot and spoke to a Wren Kitchen Representative. They have an amazing display of cabinets. So many beautiful option and everyone seemed so helpful. The cabinets come assembled already so there will be less margin for error. Cabinets to Go are not assembled and the installers put them together unevenly and bang them up.
If I can help someone avoid the stress of what we just went through, I hope this review helps. It is so upsetting to look at my kitchen. It is terrible.
But at least all of the big CEOs are making the big buck at cabinets to go. They don’t care about people like us, remember that.

Total Incompetence!

Total incompetence! My husband and I started the process several months ago at the 320-S14th location in Colorado Springs. Because the original 3-D Design was flawed, the process had to start over which was very disappointing. Cabinets were ordered based on the original design. The situation has gone from bad to worse. The initial delivery of cabinets was incomplete. We have been waiting months for faux doors to be delivered so the island could be finished. We have also been waiting months for a simple plastic component to complete one cabinet. Communication with Cabinets to Go has been unreliable. Every facet of our remodel has been impacted. The installation of countertops has been delayed by months. We have not had a stovetop for several months causing a disruption to family meals not to mention additional meal expenses. Cabinets to Go does not function as an independent company. The company has to hire outside contractors/subcontractors to complete work orders. On a positive note, the contractor hired a gentleman named Brian to install our cabinets. Brian immediately recognized from day one that the original design was not going to work. Brian's work ethics and expertise have been the silver lining in helping to problem solve the flawed design by Cabinets to Go. Based on the flawed design, multiple shipment errors, unreliable communication, and poor customer service, we cannot recommend Cabinets to Go and felt obligated to warn other consumers considering this company for a kitchen remodel.

RUN AWAY AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE!!! Problems at local store elevated to corporate customer NO service ( as Clark Howard says) was A WASTE OF TIME! Corporate Cabinets To Go could care less about us. you can search reviews on social media and across the country are all mostly negative. And don’t be fooled by that “we really are sorry” line when they post a response. It’s all fluff with no follow-through. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND READ REVIEWS BEFORE YOU GET S#!t on.

We worked with Sofija at the Lorton, Va. store, who made our entire experience fantastic. Exceptionally patient, she addressed all our issues and concerns and saved us from spending more than necessary. Sofija maintained a personable approach and took all the time necessary to ensure our project was perfect.

Buyer beware!!

Buyer beware!!! Of Cabinets to Go
Worst experience ever. They don't stand by their word or service. Supposed to only take at most a month not 3 going on 4. Save yourself aggravation, time and money and go to another supplier.

I ordered 18 cabinets from them using their recommended design. Their disigned for the cabinets size and placement was wrong, they didn't want to fix it, they lied repeatedly, they ordered replacement parts incorrectly, it has been 90 days and still waiting, they don't return calls or communicate updates or status. Just a damn nightmare!!!

After 3 months going on 4 months, no replacements parts delivered to correct for their design error. After saying they would send out their installer to uninstall the wrong sized cabinet and install the correct one, they now say they won't send installer. So we have to pay to have the wrong cabinet uninstalled and pay to reinstall the correct cabinet. So we have to pay 3X the install costs for their design failure! They wanted to charge $450 for that one cabinet to be in installed. $482.63 with taxes.

They said if I would of paid to use their installers not my contractor then they wouldn't charge for installer. If they would of designed it right in first place I wouldn't have to pay 3X the install costs for 1 cabinet. And their installers would of still had to order the correct parts and come out a second time to install.

The customer service is rude and won't listen to any logic or do the right thing due to their mistake. And it takes days and days for them to call you back for your case.

missing parts and horrible customer service

The product itself is great but to avoid very expensive shipping costs, my husband drove two hours to pick up our closet system in Franklin, TN. Upon installing the closet system, it was noticed that the back of one shelving system was missing and the brackets to hold a rod were broken. He contacted the customer service several times. When he was finally able to speak to someone it was very difficult for them to understand the issue. It was finally agreed that the missing piece and new brackets would be mailed to our home asap to finish installing the closet system. We currently have most of our clothing sitting on our couch. After a week of waiting, nothing arrived. When he called the store again, it turns out that they decided to have the missing part shipped to their store, forcing my husband to have to drive 2 hours again. A major inconvenience for a mistake they made in the first place. My husband asked to speak to a manager in customer service to discuss his grievance and it took several days for the manager to call him back. She was very rude and not willing to help with the situation. All we wanted was for the items to be shipped to our home. my husband called her out on the attitude and she hung up on him. We spent over $2,000 on this closet system. You would think they would appreciate their customers better. I do not recommend this company at all!! Buyers beware!!

Worst customer service ever!!

Ordered cabinets to be delivered in 3 weeks. Four weeks go by so I call for an update, they said my order was on hold due to me not ordering a sink? WTF? What does a sink have to do with my cabinets? Nothing!! So, I have a crew of people arriving on July 4th for a cabinet install and after ordering on May 22nd they won't be here until well after that date. Nobody lives close, everyone is 2.5-7.5 hours away! This is totally unacceptable and the sales rep blamed it on me. No one mentioned I needed to order a sink, or else I would have from them or another company. I am at a loss for words, the sales person was rude and unapologetic, maybe the worse customer service I've ever encountered. Would NEVER use this company again, do not recommend!!

Horrible experience and no end in sight!

Jordan in Customer service stated the executive team will contact us within 24-48 hours, no surprise that time has passed! Do not trust them. We are ready to contact an attorney at this point!

Avoid Cabinets to Go...

If you’re considering Cabinets To Go, read this first. I'm sharing this after months of delays, errors, and unbelievable frustration, all while managing this project for my disabled mother.

Shady Business Practices & No Transparency:
I’ve been asking for an itemized list of charges and credits for weeks—still nothing. I’ve received a constant stream of DocuSigns often sent to fix prior mistakes, making it nearly impossible to track what’s been changed or agreed to. Worse, the body of their emails has at times contradicted the DocuSign content they wanted me to sign. SHADY. There is no clear paper trail, no accountability, and no way to verify the financials.

Design Errors & Costly Mistakes:
Even after professional measurements by them and sending appliance specs multiple times, they still managed to order incorrect cabinets, which had to be reordered, delaying the project further. We had designed the kitchen with a feature we were excited about, but at installation time, we were told it wasn’t possible—either bait-and-switch or incompetence.

Communication is Awful:
Expect long gaps in responses, frequent contradictions, and daily follow-ups just to keep things moving. Staff members tell you different things, and nobody seems to know what’s actually happening. I was forced to contact third parties directly to get basic updates. They continue to gaslight customers by reducing systemic failures to “shipping delays” or “lead time estimates.”

Customer Service is a Dead End:
My case was escalated to a “Customer Care Manager” who offered no real solutions or urgency. I even reached out to the person who responds to negative Google Reviews BEFORE I posted this. Cabinets To Go is set up to protect itself, not serve its customers. Once they’ve made the sale, you're on your own. There is no meaningful path to resolution when things go wrong. Just weak apologies and more stalling.

One Lucky Mistake:
Ironically, I’m grateful they forgot to send the cabinet pulls—because I found the exact same hardware, same brand and color, on Amazon for HALF the price.

It’s unfortunate, because the cabinets look great and people compliment them. But their service, planning, communication, and ethics are nowhere near the quality of the product. I wouldn’t recommend Cabinets To Go to anyone—especially not if you need a functional kitchen on a timeline, or if you value honesty, accountability, and professionalism.

One bright spot has been their contracted installer, Luis. He is reliable, returns calls immediately and has tried to help throughout the process.

The worst ever!

I was told by someone they were good so I tried Cabinets to Go. One of the worst decisions I have ever made!
Damaged parts and replacements are out of stock! They promise to send a new cabinet but it comes without parts so it still can’t be used! In 73 years this has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had! Don’t wish your time or money!!

DO NOT buy or use them, they ship you used, damaged items. Then they take weeks to send another one out. Very poor service, zero help or do not care.

DO NOT USE Cabinets To Go

Cabinets To Go cannot even start off on the right foot. I scheduled a virtual design call at 12pm EST. The time came and went. More than 1 hour after the appointment time I get a call asking if its a good time. I said no, you missed your time by more than an hour. I told them to remove my name and info and I will go with someone else that actually cares about customer service.

Terrible experience with Cabinets To Go…

Terrible experience with Cabinets To Go in Naples Florida and their installer, Install Right. Installers arrived and installed cabinets in the wrong locations, cut filler pieces to the incorrect sizes and told me to order more. Install Right said I needed to order new pieces, Cabinets To Go said it wasn’t there problem and wouldn’t send parts. Install Right fired the installation crew. 3 weeks later another crew was sent to reinstall the cabinets correctly. They did a good job but the correct new filler parts still were not ordered so we waited a couple more weeks. Some hinges and touch up kit disappeared with first crew and Cabinets To Go would not correct. We had originally contracted with Cabinets To Go for our quartz countertops. We selected the material and their fabricator said it was a new color and wasn’t sure where they would get it. We were told lead times are 4 weeks. We cancelled the order with Cabinets To Go, found a local fabricator who got the exact material for less money and did a great job getting it done in less than 2 weeks. The manager of the Naples Fl store hung up on me and never returned my calls.

Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication & Multiple Issues

My experience with Cabinets To Go was frustrating from start to finish. Poor communication from both Ken and Yalanda made the process even more difficult. Due to an error on their end, my cabinets were shipped 7-10 days late, causing delays in my project. When they finally arrived, I discovered missing hardware, missing cabinetry finishes, and—without any prior notice—that the cabinets were not assembled.

To make matters worse, the microwave insert was the wrong size. When I reached out to address these issues, Yalanda ignored my emails entirely. Ken and customer service at least returned my calls but offered no solutions, simply saying there was nothing they could do.

A company selling cabinets should at the very least ensure they arrive as expected and provide responsive customer service when issues arise. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I would not recommend Cabinets To Go based on the lack of accountability and poor communication.

This store is a disaster

This store is a disaster. The manager Kim has no idea what is going on. She ordered the wrong cabinets and then I had to call her every day to follow up- she never bothered to call me with updates. There was ZERO communication with the delivery person and he delivered the wrong cabinets even after I told them I did not want them delivered. They sat in my living room for 3 months while cabinets to go tried to figure out how to do their job. I never got an apology. I had to beg for partial refund (which was actually due to me because the cabinets they ordered were too big). The delivery people are also rude and when they came back the second time they would not even let me check if the delivery was correct. A disaster from start to finish. Save yourself the headache and go to home depot

Great Sales Rep

We did a walk into the Syracuse, NY showroom and the sales rep was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the products that they sell. The price quoted was about 1/2 of the cost quoted at the chain home improvement stores. She was not pushy but she was thorough and did follow up with us.

This review is in 2 phases. Cabinets to go phase 1. The designer we had was very good. Issue was there was no manger to the store so our designer, who was new, was compromised and struggles at times. She responded well to our changes but at the end could not explain why our counter tops went up $1300 and our hardware had to be returned which we did get refunded. We ended up canceling our counter top and went direct with some one else. Cabinets are a good quaity. Negative they have a huge cost increase to products, you’re better off going direct for counter tops and hardware and it through them.
Installation phase 2. Here you need to be careful. The installer we had ended up being no better then a hack. He used the wrong screws on the cabinets claimed he could not find beams so he clued cabinets to the wall used counter sink screws of which he did not predrill and the screws splinted the veneer. I fixed all the issues myself including finding beams that he claimed he could not find. He actually used 2 screws corner cabinet that were not long enough to hit the beam. He was 1.5 to 3 hours late everyday. Never a call telling us he was running late. Never answered questions. Multiple times I wanted to kick him out of the house and off the project. If you don’t know anything about installing cabinet research and then ask the jinstaller question like what’s your process how do you hang with no stud. Etc.
