I would give them zero stars if I could. They advertise a free trial but charge you right away, claiming there is a word limit - yet they don't disclose this word limit anywhere until you try to ask for your money back. After months of back and forth, they will offer you a portion of your money back, and once you accept, they will ghost you and you will never receive your money. They will steal your money for a very shitty "product" that doesn't even work. Horrible communication, fake free trials, and very difficult to cancel. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

I am paying 19.99 and was promised the 9.99

This issue has not been resolved as of yet! I have paid 19.99 for November and December and was promised that it would be resolved back in October 2025!
I have been paying 9.99 a month and now it is forcing me to choose a higher plan since renewal of credit card. I sent an email to the support team and was assisted by a rep. He provided a credit and told me that November my monthly charge would return to the 9.99 opposed to the 19.99 that I have paid 11/25 and 12/25. I sent email and I have not gotten a response yet!

This issue has not been resolved regarding my billing of 9.99

This issue has not been resolved as of yet! I have paid 19.99 for November and December and was promised that it would be resolved back in October 2025!

Caktus was okay until you no longer need it

While I was in school, I used Caktus. Following my graduation in 2023, I canceled the subscription and deleted my account. I believed I had successfully completed these actions until I noticed Caktus resumed billing in 2024. Fortunately, I had kept my card locked, so all attempted transactions were declined. I then reattempted to delete the account after making a one-time subscription payment. Again, I thought I had canceled the subscription. However, they started charging my card again in June of last year, and I kept my card locked, so the charges didn't go through. I contacted their customer service via email to inform them of my cancellation. Despite this, they continued to try to bill me. They explained that the deletion process was incomplete and insisted that I settle all outstanding subscription fees for the months during which charges had been attempted to finalize the cancellation. I reached out via email four times seeking assistance with canceling and deleting the subscription; however, their response remained the same. Consequently, I blocked caktus on my card and obtained a new one. I retain copies of all email correspondence sent to them, as well as their responses.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLATFORM!

I CANCELLED MY SUBSCRIPTION MONTHS AGO AND THEY STOPPED CHARGING ME. UNTIL OUT OF NO WHERE THEY STARTED TRYING TO CHARGE MY ACCOUNT AGAIN. IF THIS DOES NOT STOP I AM CONTACTING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS. THIS STARTUP BEHIND THE APP IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!

Scammy probably created by an AI tool

I thought I would try their tools, especially the writing humanizer after seeing recommendations from a reputable site. However I found out the hard way that the service didn't work at all as I was expecting. The humanizer basically spits out barely legible English, not professional at all. Worse was when I tried to cancel, that part of the website is broken, conveniently, for all the months I've been trying to delete my account. I even contacted the supposed processor and they say they have no connection with Caktus. I sent emails to Caktus, no replies. I call the number listen for them on my credit card statement -it's a cell phone number whose voicemail box is forever full. I'm now trying to get my money back via my card company. Do not even do a trial with these guys.

There is no way to cancel the…

There is no way to cancel the subscription. I did the free trial that did not work and found no way to cancel my subscription. I was then charged and they never replied to any emails from me. I deleted the account as the faq said that would cancel my subscription. it did not and i was just charged again. please stay away from this scam.

Cancelled it again because it showed it magically was subscribed again, got charged again today.

5 emails sent. No replies. Such a scam.

Tried to cancel multiple times but couldn't get past the billing page. They've tried to charge my card multiple times for different amounts even though ive changed my catf details. Ive emailed at least 5 times for this to be stopped and recieved no email back. They just keep trying to take moneu

Signed up for the free trial tried to use it once did not like the horrible service that was provided canceled my subscription and now they continue to try and charge my card at $180 after I’ve reached out multiple and I mean multiple times via email and I’ve gotten no response. Do not use stay away from this company.

I paid $100 for a year long…

I paid $100 for a year long subscription. Then I go to log in and it alerts that I need to pay again to access the tools. They replied to my review and I reached out to them over a handful of times with no luck. Extremely frustrating!!
